Lotus Flowers Floating On Water

Macaque had quite the scolding scowl upon his face as he looked among the ones who recklessly started the blazing forest fire that was being covered by many news broadcasts across the tv channels. Using this to lecture the group of various misfits and dorks. "The key detail for us Mythics is NOT our presence to be known among the humans, Dumbasses!" The Six-Eared Monkey snarled between his teeth as Lin Chao and Tyrik showed a sheepish expression due to the stern "speech and finger wagging" given to them. "You Two could have revealed our existence to the public, and I am NOT gonna cover your asses when The Ethereal Council comes after you both!" Macaque declared with a threatening tone before calming himself to explain the purpose of the council to the newbie as he heard the question coming. "Before you ask Tyrik. The Ethereal Council are a selected members among the Divine who deals with problems like what you caused or having to deal with big threats such as Izanami, Set, and Báigǔjīng..." He began before giving Tyrik a serious glare to express the importance of a particular detail about The Council, "However, They absolutely despise the very idea of coming together to discuss anything with other Gods." Macaque finished off as he used the remote in hand to aggressively point at Tyrik.

"Yeah... De Divine 'ate it due to deir egahs and rather let each o' dem gahvern deir Realms alahne dan combing tahgether to agree ahn sahmethin. Yet, dey recahgnize dat deir rahle amahng de Realms 'as a great level o' respahnsibility and ahccasionally comb tahgether to deal wit dings...[Yeah... The Divine hate it due to their egos and rather let each of them govern their Realms alone than coming together to agree on something. Yet, they recognize that their role among the Realms has a great level of responsibility and occasionally come together to deal with things...]" Kathleen added on as she opened her container of whiskey to soothe her growing migraine.

With that, both Tyrik and Lin Chao gulped in terror to the idea that they would invoke their wrath from their mistake to stop that creature that had attacked them. Thankfully, Esmeralda was quick to come in between Macaque to give more detail on the events that had transpired. "Listen Liùěr Míhóu... There was a reason for our actions. We were trying to defend ourselves from some kind of monster that may have been sent after people who were trying to uncover why Shadi disappeared." The Dark Elven Princess explained honestly. This prompted Macaque to show a clear sense of surprise for the detail.

"Plus," Washta pinched in with dread, "That Atchen was not normal. It was immune to fire when it was supposed to kill it. The monster was covered in strange symbols that were protecting it. It also seemed to get stronger from all the attacks we inflicted." The Shawnee Woman continued on as Macaque began to think over what to do next. This was indeed a very worrying development as it was not common to hear creatures such as The Atchen to experiment on and enhance this much. Another grave detail about Atchens is that the more they feed on the flesh of others, the more powerful and dangerous they become.

The Shadow Monkey then proceeds to give the two White Star Agents and Lin a glare before asking, "Know anything about this creature I should know about? I would advise not lying to me, either... I can tell when someone is lying." He warned as he narrowed his eyes upon the group. Flexing his ears to express how he would be able to catch onto their deception.

Lin Chao was quick to spill the details of what he knew, "No... This thing was rumored to be a project within The Company, but everyone was quite liptight about it. Plus, it is above my paycheck for me to really know anything about it." Soon he rubbed his neck with a concerned expression, "I would doubt that my other crewmates would know anything either, Sensei..." He admitted as Macaque looked over Robert and Alex a bit before sighing in defeat.

Soon, the cafe doorbell rang out as it briefly caused Macaque to flinch in pain from the sound. Quickly grabbing a pair of ear plugs as he took on the form of Malik to attend to the recent customer that had entered the building. "Hate it when I forget to put these stupid things in..." Malik cursed himself for being quite forgetful while putting them in to soften the piercing sounds of New York City. As he entered the lounge of his cafe, Malik was greeted by quite an unexpected sight that left him briefly breathless.

The woman who had entered the building was stunning as her golden brown hair flew behind her. The traditional Chinese dress which she had adorn had framed her figure and body quite well. The Jade coloring and Pink Lotus theme showing off her curvaceous as well as toned muscles which was perfect for a martial arts fighter. Accompanying her toned figure and curvy body was an above average bust upon her chest, yet not too large that was hard to manage. Her eyes shined with a sapphire blue as she approached the counter to grab her morning beverage. "Hello, sir. I was recommended to this place by my brother Nez..." Catching herself quickly before slipping up, "My brother Nunez. He spoke highly of the tea which is served here." She finished with a kind smile before noticing the dorky open mouth expression that littered Malik's face before giving out a small giggle. "It is rude to stare, you know, mister. Even if you are a complete dork while you do so." She remarked with a sly grin while placing her hand onto her hips in a teaseful way.

With that, Malik began to grow red in both his face and the tips of his ears as he gave out quite the embarrassed chuckled. "Right... Sorry about that, Miss... Just wasn't expecting to encounter a beauty such as yourself." He flirted back with a playful wink. This had won another giggle as she was quite amused by Malik's recovery. "So, which brew of tea would you like?" He prompted as Malik went over to the cash register to set up her order before picking up on another detail regarding the woman. She had a unique presence that was common among other mythics, but it felt more specific to a fellow Granimur like himself. Though, this woman seemed radiant with an aura akin to the element of water rather than stone, fire, or shadows.

She began to look over the options for tea while holding onto her purse. They ranged from Green Tea to Chamomile and Jasmine Teas. It was quite a hard choice to select between the many options that were among the Cafe's menu. "How about... Green Tea? I think it would be best to keep it simple for now." The woman replied as Malik nodded and typed in the order swiftly into the computer, "Name is Xi'Lang for the order, sir." Xi'Lang introduced herself promptly as she went into her purse to grab her credit card.

With that, the price for order sprang up to a total of three dollars and forty-nine cents, plus tax, of course. "Pleasure to meet a fellow monkey, Xi'Lang." Malik whispered aloud to Xi'Lang to avoid altering the other patrons within the Cafe. Though this pleasant meeting was cut short as the aggressive complaints from a 'Karen' began to plague the Cafe. Causing Malik to groan as he finished the transaction with Xi'Lang before dealing with the annoyance, which caused everyone present to judge the woman with stares. Xi'Lang sighed in frustation as the woman went on about how her order was messed up and whatnot as Malik tried his best to keep his cool.

Soon, Xi'Lang approached the bittering woman with a tap onto her shoulder and an angry expression written on her face. "Lady, just shut up and sit back down. Nobody wants to hear about how your dumb drink was 'not to your liking'..." She declared as The Woman turned to Xi'Lang with quite the offended look.

"How dare you! You should go back to your country, woman, and mind your damn business! No one wants you Chinese -" She began before Malik slammed his hand onto the counter with rage.

"Get out! I am not gonna hand you any refunds nor allow racist pricks like your miserable behind to remain in my establishment!" Malik spat with a venomous tone, causing the woman to scream like a demonic banshee before Xi'Lang secretly waved her finger. With that, the water from the nearby sink burst, forcing a large amount of water to soak the 'karen'. With that, the vile woman stormed out of the building as she declared her lawyers would end Malik's cafe. Though absolutely no one cared as Malik began to attend to the broken sink to the best of his abilities as he mouthed thank you to Xi'Lang. With a small smile, Xi'Lang gave her gratitude for helping with the 'karen'.
