The Monster

All was quiet after Xiang's loud shout. Suddenly, a dust/dirt cloud can be seen coming from the horizon, followed by another shout.

"XIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG!"~ Hersh

A man with brown skin, slick hair and with a marvelous mustache in Jiao's opinion, rushed up to Xiang, hitting him with something akin to a bear hug. Xiang was ready for this however, and braced. The two men collided with a burst of dust and dirt. A truly powerful display of brotherhood.

Jiao was ready for the aftermath due to seeing brotherly manly bonding in anime before and knowing that both men were superhuman in their own way. So, Jiao is on the side of the road with nary a dust or dirt on him. The rest however, are covered in it.

The dust clears revealing the two that caused that dust cloud. Xiang and Hersh, in what could only be seen in wrestling as a grapple, are butting/touching heads...A show of affection of male dark elves perhaps? They separate.

"Hey~ Hersh, long time no see! Good to know you haven't lost any strength since we last met." ~Xiang

"Same here. You here to introduce the new blood?" ~Hersh

Xiang nods.

"Yeah, what do think of them?"~Xiang

Xiang gestures to his soldiers and Jiao.The newly recruited soldiers stand at attention at the mention of them. Jiao just looks at the sky spotting a pretty bird and decides to just lean on a tree staring at it. It stares back. They form a...friendship, it seems. It flies to Jiao's shoulder and perches on it. Jiao pets his new friend. He will name it Bow, on account of its bow like feather atop its head.

Hersh looks at the soldiers, rubbing his chin.

"Hmmm, they don't look that impressive. They feel like your last batch when they were introduced. Granted slightly stronger."~Hersh

The younger soldiers looked bum. Only slightly stronger? Hersh then looks at Jiao, who told Bow to fly to a perch. Hersh looks at Jiao for a minute. Jiao starts to look uncomfortable. So, him being him, speaks in a, respectful enough, thuglike manner.

"Whatchu looking at old ma---!!!" ~Jiao

Jiao never got to finish his sentence. For Hersh punched him with force enough to send him flying, breaking seven large trees in the process. All of them falling down creating a larger dirt cloud. The newly recruited soldiers were baffled while Xiang looked on as if he was expecting this. All was quiet for a second until Hersh spoke once more in his jovial manner.

"Is that all you've got young man. That was just a greeting. Don't tell me you're out for the count." ~Hersh

The recruits were baffled. Just a greeting!?!? Before more could be said and done, Jiao can be seen flying out. Headbutting Hersh sending him flying, coincidentally also, destroying seven trees in the process. Jiao takes a stance. Regardless of the hit he just received, nary a sign of anger could be seen on his face, only a bright lovable smile.

"You could of warned me first old man. But, I like this type of greeting more than the regular way. Men should speak with their fists after all." ~Jiao

The recruits were still baffled. This was a greeting.....What part of the world did these people come from?!?! And speak with our fists?!?!? We'd most likely die if we received a punch from either of you. So stop dreaming!!! You both are crazy!!! Is what they all thought. Hersh Guffawed while getting up.

"Hahaha, thats the way!!! Now, lets see the power of Xiang's Strongest Recruit!"~ Hersh

Both fighters stare at each other. The tension has never been this thick for Jiao. Nonetheless, Jiao had that bright battle hungry smile. Suddenly, like an arrow being shot, they struck. Fists, Kicks, and headbutts went flying and landing on each others bodies. Headshots, Body Blows, heck even shots at each others limbs were thrown.

There was no techniques being thrown, no grace to be shown, or even any optimum movements in this fight between these two. The onlooking recruits and even the dark elves hiding in the trees were confused. Why was it so...barbaric? This wasn't a fight of martial artists. This was a fight showcasing two men who were challenging each other in A Battle of Strength. The first to fall loses.

Unknown to the onlooking party, if any of these blows were to land on even one of them there, they would die. Each punch could crush someone's skull. Each kick could split their bodies in two. Hell, those headbutts could make a triceratops crumble. Their fight even goes as far destroying the evironment with their bodies. Thats when the onlookers finally noticed. They may not be using martial arts or techniques but, that does not mean they can't do any damage.

After a while blood is seen leaving the fighters bodies. They do not seem perturbed at all. To them this is all normal in a fight. The onlookers are starting to get worried. Are they trying to kill each other? That line of thought does not fit this scene for...the fighters are smiling at each other. This was the enjoyment of two warriors. True warriors take to fighting like fish to water. Its their place of comfort. Where those martial artists outside who take to the streets flaunting there might use it for money and pleasures. These two use it to show their achievements.

This goes on for a good half an hour.It all ended with one final punch to each others faces. The one to fall is Jiao. He put up a good fight. Sadly, he lost. He didn't go without causing some damage though. Hersh takes a knee breathing heavily.

"Hoooo. Damn, Xiang. You said you were bringing talent but, this kid...a damn monster if you ask me."~Hersh

Xiang laughs, picking up an unconscious bruised, bloody, and smiling Jiao.

"Yeah, well its to be expected when the kids a battle junkie and is the hardest worker the world's damn well seen. Now you gonna just sit there or are we going to Coco Village?"~Xiang

Hersh is seen getting up, bruised and bloodied

"Yeah, Yeah, lets go."~Hersh

As these two were walking away. All the onlookers were still looking awestruck from the display.

"Hey, lets go people! We don't have all day!!!"~Xiang

"Y-Yes!!!"~Recruits

"You too, Rangers!!!"~Hersh

"U-Understood!!!"~Rangers
