86 Eating a Demonic Apple part1

Ryan made it to a cultivation room, and shut the door behind him. The room was only 15 feet by 15 feet, it wasn't that big. It was a dark gray fairly empty room with a dim mana light on the ceiling, and a mat in the center of the room. There was a lever on the wall surrounded in a circle by number 1 through 24. He could guessed that it must be the timer.

He made his way to it and set it for 8 hours and walked to sit on the mat. Before sitting down he had noticed very faint glowing lines on the floor, forming some kind of design. Ryan didn't pay to much attention to it since he didn't have no knowledge about formations and sat down.

He closed his eyes and took a few minutes to clear and calm his mind. He wanted to be in his best condition when absorbing the fruit. Now that he was thinking about it, he had realized he haven't checked to find out if the fruit was truly safe to eat. It's called a demonic apple, is it really just a simple fruit that is filled with energy.

Just because she was pretty and seem like she wouldn't lie, he felt like he need to have more assurance than just her word. He sat there for a few minutes and thought of ways to confirm the truth about demonic apples.

He decided to just find a class about demonic trees but there wasn't one. He did see a course about plant life and beasts. He wasn't sure what to take, if he being honest with himself he would rather just take the word of the silver hair beauty. He doesn't actually feel like sitting in class and learning.

(Should I just risk it or postpone on eating the fruit. Now that I know the name of the fruit i could just ask people if they know anything about it.)

Ryan decided to just do both, he would take a class on the dungeons wild life and plants. And asked the few people in his friends list about a demonic apple. He only had 3 people in his friends list, Adam, Brian, and Elizabeth.

Even though he doesn't know Adam, he still decided to send him a voice transmission too.

("Do you know anything about a demonic apple fruit, and do you know if its okay to eat it.") Ryan sent the mental message to the 3 people in his friends list and waited.

Only a Minute had went pass until Brian responded.("I don't know anything about it, do you think the fruit you was trying to sell in the outer city a demonic fruit?")

("Yeah, there is a chance it may be, and I'm planning on taking a class on it tomorrow.") Ryan replied.

("I actually just learned a little about a demonic tree and they can produce demonic apples to trap people in my class today. But the teacher didn't bring up anything about eating the fruit so I don't know.") Elizabeth responded.

Ryan was just about to reply to Elizabeth but he got another message so he opened that instead.

("I personally don't know anything about it, but my teammate is a plant element user. She may know about it, she had classes about plants today. I will ask her if she knows anything, just give me a minute.") Adam replied.

("Thanks, appreciate it.") Ryan sent back.

He was actually truly surprised that Adam went to asked someone else for him, when they don't know each other exactly.

Not to much time later, he had got a message from Adam. ("She said demonic apples are normally safe to eat, how would they attract more pray back if they die after eating the fruit. It contains more energy than most people would be able to absorb, but the energy inside the fruit is not potent enough to harm the body. It will just calmly flow out the body when the body is full. It won't destroy anything on its way out. Demonic trees stuff the demonic fruit with alot of energy but its like more quantity of energy instead of a high quality of energy.")

("Thanks, and tell her I appreciate her answering my question.") Ryan replied

("No problem, feel free to send a message if you need anything else. Even if yall still don't join us in the end we can still be friends.")

After today Ryan impression of Adam went up.

Ryan got back to clear his mind and getting ready to eat the apple. He was already leaning towards eating just from the silver hair beauty words, and now that he got someone else saying the same thing he feels more confident about eating it.

After a few minutes went passed he pulled the demonic apple out. He is not sure why they call it a demonic apple. The fruit is fist size and a tan yellow color, rounded like a orange. It had a unique smell that was strong but not overwhelming. Demonic orange would make way more sense than a apple.

He took a few deep breath than bit a decent chunk out the fruit and swallowed it. It didn't taste good nor could he say it tasted bad. It was soft to bite into like a peach, and juicy as alot of liquid burst in his mouth with every chew he took. It tasted like a water down water melon but without the melon flavor. If nature had its own taste, he would imagine it had a hint of water down nature in it.

He closed his eyes and focused on the energy he was receiving from the fruit. They was right, even without controlling the energy it wasn't harming the inside of his body and the energy was getting dragged towards his mana core on its own.

(Interesting, I'm pretty sure mana cores is not supposed to dragged energy inside by itself.)

Ryan never had noticed it before because the mana core never pulled the energy that ryan had under his control. The only other time energy enter his body was when taking oaths. Even the oath he had to take for the academy got pulled into his core but he had assumed it just a oath thing not an all energy thing.

He still helped guide the fruit energy even though he didn't have to, to the core. Ryan opened his eyes to take a bite and noticed the fruit was leaking energy constantly from the bite he took. So he didn't waste any more time and ate the rest of the fruit as fast as he could.

Ryan sat there for an hour and his mana core has already gotten full. It's takes him around 100 LG mana stones to fill up his core and he gotten full in a hour. He probably still have little more than twice that energy remaining in the fruit in his stomach. It been releasing energy constantly since he ate it and only 1 third of the energy been released.

No mana left his body yet, his mana core been absorbing every bit of it. but now he can tell the energy about to over flow out.

Ryan felt depressed watching all this energy leaving his body but he couldn't do anything about it. He can tell his mana core doing its best to get as much energy as it could every so often it would suck in more energy.

He could only assume that whenever there was the slightest room his mana core will try to fill it. After watching the energy leaks out his body and his mana core trying his best for another 20min. A thought came to Ryan.

(Since I don't have to focus and guide the energy to the mana core could I just train and use up my energy faster. It probably won't make a big difference but I would be getting the most out of the energy instead of wasting it.)

Ryan realized he can't do no real hard training in the cultivation room so he just weighed himself down as much as he could while still able to do push up and martial arts techniques. He didn't have much room to preformed every thing he wanted to do, but he made use of what he could do.

As he trained, every now and again he check in on his mana core. It seem to be pulling in energy more often now. Over a hour past since he started training and almost all the energy been used. Ryan had started to feel a craving to eat another fruit, But he fought off the thought because it would be a waste. But the thought kept coming back.

(I could just eat another one, I have many more in my storage ring.

No, I can't. It will be a waste if I eat it now.

It was so good though and full of energy, I could always get more.

No, no, I should wait.

I will be heading in the dungeons soon, there will be a chance to eat more.

N-...., maybe, just eating one more would be fine. I guess I could just go get more later, why not.)

Ryan pulled out another fruit and begains to eat it.
