Richard and I decided to go back to the human world the next day, after seeking permission from King Xander. Although he was pretty worried about the whole idea, I tried my best to convince him.

"I know that it's easier to get to the Tower Of Two Worlds from my kingdom, but I can't guarantee you that Erik's spies won't be aware of your departure." He stated, crossing his arms over his chest.

I sighed a bit. "I know that."

"That's why I came up with an idea."

I turned around to face him again.

"What?"

He smirked slightly. "You and Richard will be dressing as soldiers and will join in the daily evening patrol. That way, nobody will suspect anything."

"That's a good idea, your majesty." Richard said. "If I remember correctly, the evening patrol starts at five."
