The Fifth House (HP and DxD)

A figure walked down a corridor bustling with students—all the eyes turned to her. The hushed whispers of the students resounded, spreading the rumors. "She must be a demon." "She is a devil's daughter." The figure smiled, hearing them, and silently murmured, "You are correct..." ----------------------------------- What to expect? I don't know...

POV 9 years old Lumina:

Lumina once again sat in the chair facing the balding doctor. A large smile played on her, no longer nervous as this time the situation had reversed.

"Please, can you leave?! Y-yes, I officially release you—you can go back!" The balding doctor shouted, his voice trembling and his eyes constantly scanning the office, stopping at every shadow with a visible flinch.

The warm sensation of joy and happiness refused to leave her chest as she knew her father helped her, not allowing the man to bully her, 'He must really care for me.'

"Too bad, I will not leave. I like it here." Even though she couldn't put her finger on what it exactly was, something in the atmosphere of the entire facility made her love it.

'It is as if all the pain, sadness, and frustration of the patients made me feel good.'

On top of that, her meals were tastier, and her bed softer. Finally, no one was laughing or talking about her behind her back as she wasn't the only weird one here—the weird was the norm here.

"Well, you have no say on this matter! I release you, so you will have to go!"

Lumina just smiled at the man and leaned forward, staring into his dilated pupils.

"Hehe, are you sure you want to make me angry? Don't you think it will become even worse?"

The doctor paled even more, his eyes constantly darting around as if a monster was going to jump at him at any moment.

Seeing that, her smile grew even wider as she saw an opening. "I can make it stop. I can make all the shadows leave you alone."

"W-what do you want? Money? Drugs?"

"No, from now on, I will be making rules here. I will stay here, and you will fulfill all my wishes, no questions asked. Do you understand?"

Her eyes gleamed as she watched the man tremble for a while. At last, his eyes opened and closed as if he wanted to say something, but something stopped him at the last moment.

"I-i will do it. Please, just make it stop."

"I will." Smiling, Lumina stood up from her chair and happily walked toward the door, stopping before them, "Start with removing all my medication. I don't need it."

'Thank you father, for showing me how to break a human.' This was the lecture she needed, showing her being feared wasn't a bad thing and that, instead, it was a good thing. Also, it showed her that using brute force wasn't always a solution, and instead, using her power to break someone psychologically was far more effective.

'He knows what has happened was real, but he is forced to comply with my wishes now as he is the only one. No one would believe his words.'

POV Present time Lumina:

Lumina stood firmly within the crimson circle, surrounded by the swirling convergence of energy from the contracts and the amalgamation of sins and negative emotions, which formed a mesmerizing red and black vortex.

'I should probably thank Voldemort for this, the sheer evil that is emitting from him...' The thought invoked a craving and hunger. She tasted a bit of his power, and now she wanted to devour him entirely, devour all his evil and turn it into her own power.

'So I can also use the evil of someone else and feed on it.'

The energy slowly flowed, absorbed into her body and soul, bringing warmth and pleasure with it.

Suddenly, a resounding crack echoed through her mind, and her power surged, causing the torches along the walls to flicker and fade, consumed by the growing darkness.

A surge of exhilaration washed over her as she sensed that she had shattered an imperceptible barrier, ascending to a newfound, elevated stage of strength.

'Come!' All the darkness gathered on her back sucked there like water into a drainage. A pair of pitch-black ethereal wings sprouted from her back, looking like those of a feathered bat—dark mist emitting from each of the black feathers.

'So this is how I can determine my power level.' She knew her father as the former angel of the highest order who had nine pairs of wings. Compared to him, her one pair was nothing.

Still, a smile crept onto her face as she was no longer just a mortal—she had hatched and changed into something else.

'Am I now officially a demon, devil, fallen angel? What am I even?' Lumina stretched her arm, the power in her muscles shocking her. She was sure she could punch a hole into a concrete wall if she wanted.

'It should be about that time. I should not let the boy wait, that would be rude.'
