Split Second Escape - High Security Containment - Doom

After sensing the energy that Philip unconsciously released, three Divine beings started to make a move

The Diamond God flew towards Philip with all of his might and the Iron God and Carbon God ran towards him

In the middle of their way, Fotiá's fire bursted across the dark sky and illuminated the crumbling world. He laughed loudly with ecstasy while extending his arms into the sky, like he's rejoicing

"HATHATHATHAT! I didn't expect to meet you here! You have outdone yourself to slip past a sacred, inviolable, and forbidden sanctum of the Gods that a mortal cannot set foot upon on?!! You have successfully repelled me one time, now you tainted our domain?! I will capture you and play with you!!!"

Fotiá dashed forward almost as fast as light as fire blazed behind him

Meanwhile, the Sword God was emanating a powerful and wrathful aura around him that was cutting the space and air around him. Other Divine beings started to go away from him to avoid the sharp aura

"Heavenly Sword Technique: One. Judgement!"

The Sword God then extended his sword in a thrust. A giant sword of air and light manifested around his sword and flew towards Philip in a speed of light

The Metal God and God of Metal could only look at Philip with extreme confusion and a feeling of fear

One-tenth of a second has passed, Philip is in the process of putting his guard up after Fotiá dashed towards him and a giant sword of air and light came flying at him

One-fifth of a second has passed, the Diamond God, Iron God, and Carbon God appeared in Philip's point of view. Their hands are extended towards him, like they are pushing him further

The Diamond God, however, had a ball of light form on his palm and flew to Philip's mind

Half of a second has passed, Fotiá appeared in front of Philip with a crazed face while fire is blazing all around. The other three Gods were already smacked to the side. The tip of the sword of air and light are also inches away from his nose

In that instant, Philip disappeared from his placed and the sword of air and light penetrated through the ground and across the the planet in an angle. Fotiá also swiped his arm to the right and a wave of fire swept across the ground, which melted a big chunk of the planet

They completely missed Philip by 0.5 seconds. Fotiá and the Sword God clicked their tongues as the planet under everyone's feet exploded in a supernova. No one was hurt since they are Divine beings and receiving a point-blank explosion in their faces is the least of their problems

Philip's vision flew across hyperspace and returned back to the present, in the moment after he fist bumped Mark

Philip abruptly stood up and stepped backwards as he pulled his right arm and curved his body as if to protect it. The chair fell down on the floor and made a loud noise, causing everyone in the cafeteria to look at his direction

A fire was ignited out of thin air and released intense heat around the area of Philip and the squadron members. The squadron members and Justine was startled and they also stood up to protect themselves

Mark flipped the table with his left foot to turn it into a barrier and the rest of the squadron members hid behind the table. The food and plates splattered on the floor

Justine only stood in the open space and waved her hand to mitigate the wave of heat that was about to spread in the cafeteria

Mark peered over the table and looked at Philip with fierce eyes. Celine also peered from the side of the table to observe the situation. Tenshi covered Sheena and Elaine around her arms behind the table

As the fire ignited, it was immediately extinguished right after

"Khhhfffff..."

Philip was then pushed back a few feet by an unknown force as he exhaled air through his teeth

Just then, blood spurted out in a line diagonally across his arm. The line deepened and penetrated to his sides and cut the ground and wall of the cafeteria

A large gash on the concrete opened and rubble scattered around

From Philip's injuries across his arms, the white lines crawled around his wound and covered it. The blood also wriggled violently, which flowed back into his wound

The white lines that covered his wound then shattered into broken light and dissipated into the air

Philip swung his arms outwards after he was healed and he took a few steps back from the inertia and momentum of the large cut

He breathed heavily as he lowered his body. He collected himself eventually and straightened his posture

"Haaah!"

He let out a deep breath after taking in the pressure and manipulating his emotions. He then looked around to check his surroundings, now that he realized that he revealed some of his abilities, as well as mysterious anomalies that happen around him whenever he encounters something big

He noticed that the squadron members are behind a flipped table and Justine is standing in the open while regulating the foreign energies in the cafeteria

He also noticed the big gash on the floor and wall behind him, indicating that the slash came from the Sword God and even when the Sword Aura automatically activated to defend him, the Sword Technique and the Sword Wave of the Sword God managed to penetrate through his aura and injure him

That shouldn't be possible because Sword Concept is way higher than a Sword God, unless Philip is still inexperienced on using the Sword Concept and that's the reason that the Sword God managed to penetrate the Sword Aura created by the Sword Concept

He placed his attention back to the squadron members and asked with a nervous and worried tone

"Is everyone alright?"

Philip hoped that no one will pursue at what caused the commotion. But he knew that would not happen

The squadron members stood back up and tidied the table and chairs

"Let's go"

Mark urged Philip and Justine to follow as they stormed out of the room. The soldiers and the personnel are looking at them with funny eyes

Philip and Justine followed and they will now go to their Room Quarters, where it's peaceful and no one will be bothered by the sqaudron members

Philip, Justine, and the squadron members walked through the empty and quiet hallways. Mark was making heavy steps as he looked straight in front of him with fierce eyes. It was then that he slowed his pace and they began to walk slowly

"Let me ask you again..."

Mark talked without turning his head

"What are your abilities? Or better question, who are you?"

Mark asked with a deep tone in his voice. The other sqaudron members are also very curious because what happened back in the cafeteria wasn't possible with only his Emotion Manipulation and Pain Denial abilities

Justine did not react and let Philip decide for himself. Whatever Philip wants, she'll support and follow him

Philip understood the graveness of the situation and the how the trust of the squadron members on him is hanging on the line

"Look, I respect you, but we need to trust you with our lives if you're going to be a part of our squadron for this mission! If you keep lying to us and hiding your prowess, we'll be in danger and we can't take adavantage and strategize your abilities"

Elaine turned her head and spoke

"We know Tenshi's Heavenly Prayers and we can strategize around that to push the competence of our sqaudron to the limit. We didn't know that Mark can transmutate fictional metals until now, but that only made our squadron stronger in terms of potential!"

Elaine continued to speak with experience and confidence

"Now, we want to know your true potential, so if we need your help, we know what to expect"

Philip looked away for a moment and pondered if he would reveal his abilities to this squadron. Granted that they were chosen in the Fate Timeline, he thought if it would ve worth it, considering the future that he is seeing at the moment regarding the unstable Mana Hotspot

After a few seconds, Philip has decided on what to do

"There is a reason why I keep my secrets and that reason is also a secret to which I can't tell"

Mark and Elaine's expression turned sour from Philip's words

"But, I'm willing to reveal a part of it and let you guys think around it. Does that sound good?"

Mark and Elaine were quiet, unsure on what to say

"Remember, there is a reason the Old Man is scared of him but under his protection"

"The God of Light also, and myself"

Justine and Tenshi reminded them respectively. With this, Mark decided on his answer

"Alright, that's a deal, as long as these abilities are able to help us. When are you going to tell us?"

"As soon as we arrive at the Room Quarters"

Mark narrowed his eyes and turned at Philip

"How did you know that we're going to the Room Quarters? I never said anything about going there as we left, did I?"

Philip looked at Mark with ridicule and empty eyes

"Where else would we go? Chris said earlier that you'll guide as to our Room Quarters"

"Hm, I guess you're right..."

Mark calmed down and resumed walking

"That's half of the reason, the other half is what I will tell you at the Room Quarters"

"..."

Mark did not reply anymore. He only felt excitement to learn a part of Philip's secret. It was the same for the other squadron members, especially Tenshi and Elaine

Justine could only walk quietly as she reads the motives of every single squadron members. So far, none of them has bad motives, according to their breathing patterns, brain waves, heartbeat, pulse, and body heat

After a while, the group entered a room that has three branching hallways. The room had potted plants, benches, a vending machine, and a water dispenser present. A concrete wall with no windows present is to their left, the third hallway is open to their right

They continued walking straight, to the hallway that connects to the main hallway leading to the Room Quarters

As they walked in the middle of the room, Philip's peripheral vision on his right eye started to blacken, like black smoke slowly swarmed the area on his right eye

Philip abruptly stopped and looked to his right. Justine and the squadron members also stopped and turned to look at Philip

"What is that?"

Philip couldn't help but ask after seeing a very reinforced door with heavy duty door frame and possibly higher security systems just before the door. There is even several keyholes across the door, several security scanners, surveillance cameras, and mounted turrets. The entrance to the hallway is also apparently blocked by a heavy duty tempered clear glass that almost deceived Philip's eyes

If not for his Eye of Sai, he wouldn't notice the clear glass. But at the point, he couldn't see past the reinforced door. It was like it's restricting him, even with the Eye of Sai

"That's an S-class Containment Chamber. I personally do not know what's in there, nor Elaine nor Tenshi. The only person that could open that door is Chris and no one knows what's in there except for him"

Mark explained with honesty. It was then that he felt shaken and worry filled his mind, including the other squadron members and Justine. Their expressions turned bad and they didn't feel comfortable in the room

"C'mon, let's get going"

Mark quickly urged everyone to move on and leave the room. They had no idea that the cause of the change in the atmosphere came from the secured door

But Philip kept staring at the secured door and his eyes turned golden but his right eye turned violet, his emotions boiled and exploded, his body temperature alternated between hot and cold, single white lines crawled across his body and cheeks, his hair turned very slightly gold, the Pureblood became restless, and a Sword Aura immediately covered his body

His consciousness was instantly pulled into the Fate Timeline and showed the Branching Timeline where the Impending Fates are in orbit

The gold Branching Timeline immediately turned black and flowed into a shattered and broken end. At the end of the Branching Timeline, a bigger Impending Fate appeared

This Branching Timeline became black and it made Philip extremely alarmed and gave him a realization. The black spheres weren't Impending Fates, considering that the black Branching Timeline reached a shattered end and showed a bigger black sphere, the black spheres are actually Doomed Fates, as well as the Doomed Branching Timeline

Before Philip could take advantage of the time that he's in the Fate Timeline, his consciousness was immediately pulled back into reality without him ever realizing

He only realized when the secured door suddenly opened in a normal manner. Justine and the squadron members freaked out. They all unconsciously took a step back

But in Philip's vision, the hallway tilted to the right and a black smoke or aura gushed out of the door in a spiral and devoured Philip

All he could see is pitch black and an undescribable fear swelling from his mind, which are being countered by his negative emotions

Everything became quiet. All of his senses were non-existent. No sense of smell, hearing, taste, sight, and touch. Not even his sixth sense or Extreme Self-awareness can process the event

All he could feel is fear, nothingness, pain, and will of power

He's like a small rock, floating in a non-existent universe, dark and devoid of any matter, energy, time, and space
