Key - Transfer Student - Acquaintanceship and Friendship

Philip and Yuze appeared in another Floor Transporter platform. The platform dimmed a few second later and the Central Core Lobby met their eyes

"What the?!" Philip exclaimed in surprise as he saw the very exact place from the second floor

The 8th floor lobby is uncannily the same as the 2nd floor lobby. The arrangement of the benches, the number of pillars, as well as the location and size of the platform

"Don't worry, we're on the right floor. All Central Core Lobbies are the same for each floor except at the 10th floor." Yuze quickly explained to Philip to remove his confusion

"That's fascinating! They're absolutely the same! I thought we were on the same floor!" Philip expressed his amazement to which Yuze smiled at

"The Genesis Classroom is near, it's just around the corner." Yuze said as they walked for a while

Eventually, they arrived at the end of a hallway and met a large classroom with a front door and a back door to the right and to the left respectively

"I'll go in first and tell our homeroon instructor, Chihaya-sensei, that you are here"

"Go ahead." Philip waved his right hand back and forth at Yuze as she approached the front door

Yuze knocked gently three times on the door and opened it carefully. She took two steps forward and closed the door behind her

"Good morning, Chihaya-sensei!" Yuze greeted her first before approaching her on the platform, to where she was teaching the Skeletal System to the Genesis Class

Chihaya waited for Yuze to approach her and she lowered her head to hear what Yuze has to say as she will whisper to her, "I've escorted the transfer student outside"

Chihaya then raised her head and said directly to Yuze, "Alright, good job. You make take your seat and I'll handle this"

Yuze then climb up the elevated seats and sat at the very back right of the room. The other students didn't bat an eye to Yuze since this has been happening on occasion and they also know that she is the Headmaster's daughter and she may be getting a special treatment. Although, others believed the opposite, they are treated equally, as well as the daughter of the Headmaster

"Alright class, the transfer student is here! I'll go outside and talk to him first. You people behave yourselves and wait!" Chihaya told the class with a powering voice and walked towards the outside of the front door

The class then became boisterous as they were excited and speculating at who the transfer student will be

"I wonder what ability he will have?!"

A battle maniac looking boy shouted

"Bah! Whatever ability he has, he's still weaker than me because I will be more beautiful than them!"

A snarky looking narcissistic boy exclaimed to which earned the irk of other boys and disgust of girls

"Is the transfer student a boy or a girl?!"

"I don't know! I hope he's a boy and handsome!"

"Yeah! More handsome than Sam!"

Three noisy girls gave a remark

"It's impossible for him to be more beautiful than me because I have more experience in women"

The narcissistic boy, who is apparently named Sam, told off the three girls with elegance

"Yuuuck!" The three girls both exclaimed at the same time

"I hope he's strong since he was transferred here in our class!"

A smart looking boy exclaimed throughout the class to which most of them nodded in agreement

However, a few of them chose to be quiet and speculated in their own minds. Some did not expect anything, some looked at every possibilities. One didn't care and kept staring outside the window, where a view of the eastern side of th Mystical Academy can br seen, and another deliquent girl that is sleeping in a messy manner on her seat with a book covering her head

In reality, this deliquent girl is awake and she is expecting someone intetesting to come in

Yuze, who has an emotionless face currently, was called out by a girl, three seats from her right,

"Pst! Yuze! Can I at least know what kind of person this transfer student is??"

Yuze turned towards this person and gave an unexpected reply,

"It's a secret!" Yuze place her right index finger above her nose and slyly smiled with her eyes closed, showing yet another bright smile

The girl was surprised at the sudden show of Yuze's emotion for the first time in a while. She quickly understood the meaning behind it and nodded. She then went back on doing her own business

Meanwhile, the others saw Yuze's smile by chance and the whole room went quiet. They were entranced by her and they also quickly understood its meaning

The transfer student that is currently outside of the room is someone very interesting or great that he or she can make Yuze smile like that

The other boys were jealous, the other girls were smiling and started a rumor, Sam smiled as he began to slowly look at the transfer student in a new light, others didn't care, and a few didn't even know what's going on

As Chihaya came out of the room and closed the door, she could already hear the boisterous noise that the students are making inside the classroom

"Damn brats, can't even let me walk away for a few second before starting a noise"

Chihaya held her head in pain while closing her eyes. She then opened her eyes and saw Philip standing with his back at the wall across the room, waiting

She then adjusted her eyeglasses and approached Philip

"Excuse me, are you the transfer student by any chance?" Chihaya politely asked Philip who was concentrating for some reason with his eyes closed

Philip abruptly opened his eyes and saw a woman, probably in her late 20's and early 30's standing in front of him and asking a question

This woman has a white blouse that subtly shows the her figure and the size of her chest. She has a black framed eyeglasses that matches well with her eyes and single strand bangs that dangle across her forehead and left cheek as her hair is tied into a ponytail. She also wears a black tight skirt that reaches to her knees and heels with a height of 2 inches

"Ah, yes! I am the transfer student." Philip answered her question stiffly

"I see, my name is Chihaya. You can call me anything you want but the class calls me as Chihaya-sensei." Chihaya introduced herself first

As per manners, Philip then introduced himself, "My name is Philip. Just Philip"

"Alright Philip, I'll guide you inside of the classroom now. My only advice for you is to not get overwhelmed by the students since they have mystical abilities like Yozu told you"

"Yozu??" Philip didn't recognize any names of Yozu

"The Headmaster? Didn't he tell you his name?" Chihaya irritatingly asked

"No?" Philip was confused and answered nonetheless

"Damn that Yozu! He keep on forgetting to give the most important information. I bet he also forgot a crucial info to give!" Chihaya started talking to herself. Philip only stared at her with interest

"But first of all... Tell me your mystical abilities before we enter." Chihaya urged Philip to answer her

Philip immediately understood what she meant by mystical abilities and he knew it's his powers,

"Pain Denial and Emotion Manipulation." Philip tried to answer with complete honesty since these powers are a cover for his actual powers

Chihaya narrowed her eyes and glared at Philip to which he stared back

Chihaya's eyes started to change but Philip doesn't notice this. Her eyes started to dilate and a swirl of blue energy filled her pupils

After a few seconds, Chihaya then lowered her head closer to Philip as their foreheads and the tip of their noses are almost touching

Philip was taken aback and about to step back, but he figured that this was a challenge and stood his ground. Instead, he moved his head closer to Chihaya and their heads and noses touched

Chihaya was shocked and surprised as she instinctively pulled her head away from Philip. Her cheeks was very slightly tinged with red but she immediately regain herself

"Hm, I've confirmed it. Dual abilities, huh? That's extremely rare." Chihaya stated as she cleared her throat

Philip became confused at what she meant by 'confirmed it' and he worked his brain to know the answer

Chihaya used one of her ability that applies a certain amount of pain to whoever she looks at. Since Philip directly looked at her eyes, she immediately had access to his Parietal Lobe, a part of brain that perceives pain, and stabbed a miniscule needle in the most sensitive part of it

Philip didn't react to it and didn't feel any pain at all. She then deemed that the Pain Denial ability is true

She then tested his Emotion Manipulation by trying to test his embarrassment or sexual desire. She is aware of her beauty and moved her head closer to Philip's head. Her method of confirming it is if he would feel another set emotions besides embarrassment

At first, she noticed that he became embarrassed but immediately after, he became brave and tried to challenge her back. She's the one who became embarrassed, albeit extremely slightly

This confirms that he has Emotion Manipulation. Although she doesn't know if the manipulation means that only his emotions can be manipulated or others as well. Anyway, she decided to ask him later since she figured that her emotions remain unchanged since meeting this person

Yet, there is something within her that tells her that there is something wrong. She then looked towards Philip once again and her senses were spiking like needles were being poked throughout her arms, back, cheeks, and legs

Chihaya once again narrowed her eyes and asked Philip in an aggressive manner,

"Are you sure that's your only abilities?!" She crossed her arms and looked at Philip as if she was judging him

Philip raised his left eyebrow in annoyance and interest at Chihaya's question

"What do you mean?" Philip decided to feign ignorance

Chihaya became silent and decided to test Philip

Philip saw Chihaya's demeanor of a strict teacher as her eyes looked like there were etheral flames burning within it

This made Philip become more annoyed yet more interested at the same time,

'How did she know that I'm hiding something? I don't understand. Yuze or the Headmaster didn't noticed it, but her? Maybe there's something to it...'

As Chihaya is staring at him, she could see a forming unstable aura around him. This aura is not affecting anything around him but she could feel the overbearing pressure from the aura,

'Is this a collection of condensed emotions that has been contained in him that seeks to overflow and escape?! This aura is suffocating... There's should be a root for this'

As Chihaya was observing Philip, Philip was contemplating whether to tell her the truth

'If even the Headmaster, didn't notice my other powers, even though he's the most powerful person in this academy... And this person in front of me, who is only a teacher, noticed it... Maybe this is fate? A fate that I can control, and by telling her my true powers, an unexpected event might happen in the future?'

Philip immediately used his Future Vision and closed his eyes. He entered a plane of fog and focused on Chihaya. The subject is, telling Chihaya about his power of Fate Control and Future Vision

As Philip dictated the subject, the fog disappeared throughout the world and into the horizon, and a golden line emerged from his feet and shot forwards in the distance. He saw the end of it and a few white lines that branched towards the golden stem from its sides that came from different directions. This is the absolute future

Chihaya is a key for a specific future that will give fortune towards Philip. It was the first time that he saw a golden timeline in his plane of future vision but from the looks of it, just by telling her his true powers, the future will be set and it won't change no matter what

All of this took just a few seconds and Chihaya is still staring at him. He decided to take a risk

He lifted his left hand and snapped his fingers. An audible sound reverberated throughout the hallway they're currently in

Only one student inside the classroom heard the snap. This was Yashida, who is trying to make everyone quiet

"Wha-?!" Chihaya unconsciously stepped back and became wary. Her burning eyes and strict demeanor disappeared

As she was about to ask Philip about the snap, he beat her to it

"I've decided! Pain Denial and Emotion Manipulation are not the only abilities that I have..." Philip motioned for Chihaya to come closer so he could tell her clearly

Chihaya carefully went closer to Philip

"Will you even believe me if I told you?" Philip asked with assurance

"With how things are right now and the Mystical Age, I'm more inclined to believe anything unless proven." Chihaya assured him

"It's Fate Control and Future Vision." Philip said with empty expression

There was a few moments of silence before Chihaya spoke

"Hm... Okay..." Chihaya didn't know what to say upon hearing Philip

"You don't believe it?" Philip asked her

"Not really... I need proof first since what you just said is impossible! I've seen absurd things but controlling fate itself and seeing the future? That's hard for me to believe. In the meantime, if you introduced yourself in front of the class, don't mention that last two ability." Chihaya gave advice to Philip as she walked back to the front door of the room

"Wait! What am I going to say in front of them?" Philip followed Chihaya and asked his laste question

"Your name, age, birthplace or just the country you're born in, abilities, and greetings." Chihaya did not waste anymore time as she opened the front door and entered the classroom

As she entered the room with leaping steps, the class is miraculously quiet with everyone behaving. She looked towards Yashida and she complimented him by nodding. Yashida nodded back diligently

"Alright class! This is the transfer student that you're waiting for! Come inside!" Chihaya said with a powering voice

Philip slowly opened the door and entered the room. He awkwardly close the door and he walked stiffly to the center of the platform where everyone could see him

All eyes were on him and the others who are sleeping or has their eyes closed, took a peek from their sleeping positions and slightly opening their one eye

He looked around and saw the seating arrangement of the room:

Philip saw Yuze sitting at the far right back of the right division of the seats

He lifted his eyebrows as to catch the attention of Yuze to which she only smiled lightly while going back on reading a book that she brought

The others caught this and their jealously rose higher. They're only holding back since Chihaya is in front of them

"Introduce yourself." Chihaya urged him

"Hello everyone, my name is Phillip, age is 24, I come from the Philippines. My abilities are Pain Denial and Emotion Manipulation and... Please take care of me!" Philip slightly bowed to show greetings. He couldn't think clearly because certain emotions is stirring in his head because this the first time that he has done this

Fortunately, he recovered instantly and there were no problems. Chihaya then stepped forward and explained his abilities,

"As you heard, his abilities are Pain Denial, which can make him deny any pain he feels, and Emotion Manipulation, which he can control his emotions at will"

"So, he's a mental ability user, Chihaya-sensei?" A girl asked

"Yes, you could say that." Chihaya confirmed which made the students murmur with each other

Chihaya then asked Philip loudly that the whole class can hear, "Where would you want to sit?"

Philip looked around with empty eyes and he ignored the eyes that shoots different kinds of emotions towards him

"I'll let you decide, Chihaya." Philip told Chihaya bravely

The entire room gasped and the temperature of the room dropped, the students were scared and wary at what Chihaya would do to the transfer student. Philip didn't add any honorifics in addressing Chihaya and the students assumed that Chihaya told Philip to call her with honorifics since she talked to him outside

"Then go sit at the far back next to Yuze!" Chihaya pointed with her chin while her arms are crossed

The students were shocked that Philip did not get punished upon calling their homeroom instuctor with only her name. They were also filled with envy since this new guy gets to sit in between the two most beautiful girls in this room

As Philip walked up the elevated stairs towards th elevated back seats, the boy at seat A-6 is staring at him with piercing eyes, the boy at L-4 is following him with his piercing glare, the girl at H-3 popped a bubblegum as he walked by, and Sam, who is seated at F-6, has his arms at the back of his head as he stares at Philip with his half-opened left eye while slighly smiling

The girl with the lavender colored hair at I-6 gently smiles as he goes around her to seat beside Yuze

"Yo, we're seatmates!" Philip tried to greet Yuze again

"Yes, I'm happy." Yuze covered half of her face with a book from embarrassment as her cheeks are flushed

The other boys that saw this scene was boiling with anger and the girls almost screamed from excitement. The girl two seats to the right of Philip was smiling that her eyes were also smiling, as if she was happy about something

"Enough of that! You can talk to him after we finish our lecture!" Chihaya clapped her hands to catch everyone's attention and started her lecture

The lecture only lasted for an hour and there were no interuptions or whatsoever

The lecture was about the anatomy of the human body, particularly the Skeletal System

Chihaya discussed about the different parts of the bones and the newly discovered Spirit Fibers that in between the bone and bone tissues. She also doscussed about the Mana Spots that are located in every joints of the Skeletal System

Philip didn't really listened to much since he already heard about it from the Headmaster

He only stared at Chihaya and the blackboard with empty eyes, devoid of emotions. He occasionally yawn from drowsiness but he resists it by forcing his mouth closed and this lead to him making strange facial expressions, but no one notices this besides Yuze and she found it funny and decided to let him be

Chihaya, whose senses are sharp, noticed that Philip was resisting his yawning but it doesn't remove the fact that he was bored by the lecture

With this, Chihaya looked at the time on the small watch on her left wrist. She decided that it was a great time to end the lecture

"Alright class! I'll finish my lecture here"

As Chihaya said this, most of the students fixed their things as they were bustling

"You'll have 30 minutes of breaktime before going to the place. I'll meet you there." Chihaya exited the room before anyone could reply

Yashida, who was sitting next to the front door at seat A-1, abruptly stood up and gave his goodbyes, with regards to the whole class, to Chihaya

At this point, the class became noisy once more. Most of the girls quickly came to Philip while the shy ones stayed on their seats as they grabbed their snacks under the table

As the girls came closer to Philip, they abruptly stopped as they saw a menacingly looking boy with two other persons, like his lackey

The menacing boy and his lackeys are behind Philip and Yuze, who are sitting peacefully

One of the girl shouted at the menacing boy, "Hey, Cedric! Leave him alone! He just transferred here!"

One of the lackeys shouted at the girl, "Hey b*tch! Shut up! Don't talk to him like that!"

The girl couldn't help but be silent because she knows she can't do anything to help. She just hoped that the strong ones in here would stop this

"Your name is Philip, am I right?" The menacing guy, whose name is Cedric, asked with a menacing tone

Philip, however, did not answer his question nor he did pay attention to him. He already saw what's going to happen since this development is very common in anime and novels, so he closed his eyes and prepared himself

This irked Cedric and one of the lackeys shouted at Philip, "Hey you little shit! Cedric is talking to yo-!"

Before the lackey finished his sentence, a blur appeared in front of him and his head tilted backwards and he fell backwards

"Shut up!" Cedric looked at his lackey who fell backwards behind him with gnashing teeth and wrathful eyes as vein is popping on his forehead

He then turned back to Philip with a calmer demeanor but still menacing

"Do you really have the ability of Pain Denial just like the Headmaster?" Cedric asked in a challenging tone

Philip opened his eyes and his facial expression changed as his eyes dilated, his forehead and cheeks relaxed, and his mouth relaxed to the point that he looks sad

This world was not once it used to be. In anime and novels, bullies that challenge the MC in a fight might be unrealistic but it's different now, because there are actually abilities and mysticism, and he might experience it now

He did not take the abilities of the others into consideration and his prediction became off. The future became unpredictable as millions of white lines branch out from his feet with no end

Yuze, who is sitting still beside him, is quiet with her eyes close. She seems to be preparing for something

This time, Cedric snapped as Philip didn't pay attention to him. He instantly grabbed Philip's hair and lifted him off of his seat

With Philip's weight resisting the pull, he felt pain across his head and his legs

As he felt pain, his brain immediately realized it and he denied it. Denying pain comes at a cost, the denied pain is absorbed into the collected pool of contained emotions. His body deemed the emotion of pain extremely dangerous once it mixes with the swirl of emotions. The pain must be expelled from his body

The pain was injected into his muscles and it became the fuel for it. Chemical reactions occured in his muscle and the muscles expanded and contracted with strength

During this process, Philip's strength is multiplied depending on the amount of pain he is denying and absorbing

During this, four people stood up from their seats and tried to stop the commotion. Yashida, who was several steps ahead from them, quickly tried to stop them but a third lackey blocked his path. Since he is a mental ability user, he couldn't get past this student

As Cedric dragged Philip a few feet away from his seat, Philip almost stumbled backwards and fell. But his muscles were strengthened and he subconsciously stepped his right foot behind him in an impossible angle

He then lifted his body up and twisted his waist as his left fist flies from his left side to his right back said to gain incredible momentum. As his fist nears Cedric's face, the momentum tend to lift his left leg with only his right foot supporting him as his body rotated to the right

Cedric saw this and released his grip on Philip's hair and blurred backwards making Philip miss him completely. If the fist connected, his right cheek would get hit

Philip hit the air and nothing happened. To others, Cedric may look cool upon dodging the punch, but what they saw next surprised them

Since Philip didn't hit Cedric and their was no contact to where the pain will be released into, the air was hit instead and the path where Philip's fist went through condensed and warped

Then, the warped air released a small shockwave or small gust of wind through the classroom that was felt by everyone

Everyone halted what they were doing. Yashida quickly dashed around the third lackey as he was distracted and the other three who stood up continued

The lavender haired girl was already next to Yuze to her left when the commontion started and she was surprised at what transpired

Yuze was also surprised as her eyes became wide. She was surprised by the fact that she could witness his ability of Pain Denial and from his description from when he described it from the Headmaster's Office, he wasn't joking that the pain will be more painful upon returning it because there was a gust of wind from the path of his fist

Since Philip stepped his foot backwards in an impossible angle, his right leg, ankle, and waist tend to break or dislocate since his body rotated to the right

Philip was average in athletics and he quickly bend his body to recover from his strange position and he propped his body up as he stands firm

During this, a nerve and a blood vessel was squeezed in between his bones and that is extremely painful

Which made him use Pain Denial and release of the pain is a must. Shouting in pain is out of the question. His muscles throughout his body contracted and flexed as the flow of energy went to his head released the pain into his anger instead, which amplified it

Philip closed immediately closed his eyes as he is aware of the wave of anger that will wash over him. He already set the defenses and manipulated the incoming anger

His head was aching and he could hear his heartbeats and blood flow. In the end, the anger was lessened but it was still there

Yashida, who was nearing them, felt shivers in his spine from looking at Philip and he quickly ran, bumping others and the corner of tables without care. He felt danger

His eyes became bloodshot with anger and saw Cedric. He wants to get back at him to which Cedric accepted and stepped forwards while they approach each other

At this moment, Yuze opened her eyes and a sharp glint appeared in her eyes. She pointed the space in between Philip and Cedric and flicked her fingers upwards and a solid wall of air appeared. Yashida also stepped down and blocked Philip while facing Cedric

A hand also touched Cedric's shoulder, one from the left and one from the right. The first lackey was shoved aside by the one who's holding his right shoulder

Another one also blocked Cedric's path and held a hand against his chest

The deliquent girl, who was supposed to be sleeping in the seat in front of him, abruptly woke up and came behind Philip as she wrapped her arms around his neck in a non-threatening choke hold and said calmly to Philip, "Calm down"

Finally, the one who kept staring outside the window, at the seat in front of Yuze, stood up and went in between Philip and Cedric, beside Yashida. He glared at Cedric with strong eyes as he raised his left eyebrow like he's questioning his actions

"Stop this, this instant!" Yashida growled at Cedric while he is being wary at Philip who is behind him

"Back off." The one who's hand is placed against Cedric's chest, spoke in a furious yet calm manner

Cedric looked around and stared at the people who stopped him and blocked him. He then sneered at these people

"Kuku, okay fine! You are saved this time, Philip!" He then shrugged his shoulders and back handed the arm infron of him

He then turned around and approached the back door as left a final message,

"No other guys is allowed near you, Yuze! You'll be mine!" He then opened the door as he gave a sinister smile to everyone present

Philip's eyes twitched and he became annoyed and even angrier from his words. The deliquent girl held him tighter

Yuze didn't pay attention to him, she only lifted her arm and pointed with two fingers at the door, to which Cedric's back is exiting. She then pulled her fingers and pushed a hand like a Buddha's Palm

A strong gust of wind emerged from her hand, dodging the others in the way, and approached Cedric. He was blasted outside of the room like a ragdoll and Yuze flicked back her fingers to the right and Cedric was once again blasted through the hallways towards the Central Core Lobby, which is 50 meters away from the classroom

A few people giggled upon seeing Cedric just got blasted

Cedric, who was lying down in the middle of the Central Core Lobby next to the Floor Transporter, was staring at the ceiling with empty eyes,

"Kuhahahaha!! You really deserve to be my woman! Just you wait! He then stood up slowly as his body was aching and he began transport in the Floor Transporter

As Cedric was gone, the people involved then turned towards Philip who has a expressionless face but seething with anger in his mind

"Philip! Let's calm down now, okay? Cedric is gone." Yashida carefully spoke to Philip and assured him

Philip began to calm down, not by Yashida, but the girl who is holding him from behind. He could clearly feel two mountains poking his back when he struggle

Yuze saw this and pouted

He blushed slightly and chose to calm down. His anger and annoyance has now plunged into the pool of condensed emotions and has mixed in together. The deliquent girl slowly released him and let him free

With the abrupt change in emotions, Philip's eyes became dead and has a pale face. A few people noticed this, as well as Yuze. Eventually, light came back to his eyes and he returned from his usual self. He inhaled and exhaled deeply to collect himself

"I'm okay now, thank you." Philip thanked the people who helped and stopped him

"That's okay! Glad that you're fine now. That Cedric guy? He's troublesome so I suggest that we avoid him at all cost!" Yashida said to Philip

"By the way, I'm Yashida, the class president of the Genesis Class. My ability is Sixth Sense!" Yashida extended his hand towards Philip
