Heat Wave - The Rest of the Day - Outdoor Games - Sleepover

A deafening and eerie sound reverberated from Natsu as she floated in the sky. With the sound blasting around the area, comes with the very intense heat that instantly enveloped the Divine protective layer of Sai that she covered in a one kilometer radius. The rest of everyone lifted their arms in instinct to shield themselves from the skin melting heat

Justine jumped back while rotating her hands and fingers while whipping her arms to quickly contemplate the kind of heat is being generated to completely manipulate the heat wave

Jude extended his arm to block the heat wave and he placed the Dominator Sword in front of his body to shield himself. The heat wave is being split apart that it's making an unaffected zone behind him in a cone

Mathilda faced the heat wave while generating a shield around herself. Parts around the skin of her body parts were being transformed into hundreds of metallic scales with structured insulators underneath. She is also creating a cone shaped safe zone behind her

Natsuki subconsciously lifted her arms in front of her face as she slightly crouched down. Her body was burning brightly because the heat difference from her own ability and Natsu's ability is changing the heat levels of her own fire

Meanwhile, Natsume just tilted her head because of the eerie sound. She wasn't affected by the heat at all because of her innate ability of nullifying fire. Even though there's no fire present, heat is a major part of creating fire. Meaning, unknown to her and Philip, her Fire Nullification ability can nullify aspects and concepts that can create fire, like heat, combustion, ionization, and more. Although, she can't nullify fuel, air or oxygen, and any byproducts of fire like flame, smoke, exhaust, transfer of heat, and pressure

In simpler terms, Natsume can nullify the concept of "Fire", but not Fire Concept, and the condition of "heat that will cause a fire", according to the idea, system, and concept of Literallity

Since the heat from Natsu's ability is too extreme, the idea is that Natsume or any normal humans will instantly burn and produce fires. If there is a white hot metal ball in space and Natsume were to nullify the heat, she won't be able to since fire won't be generated in the vacuum of space. If Natsume were to be thrown into the Sun, she will definitely be able to nullify parts, if not, the entire Sun since it's a giant ball of fire

So, Natsume's ability should be Fire Nullification and Fire Denial since she denies the creation of Fire. This might allow her to go toe to toe with a Fire God, deny a Fire Law, or ultimately, erase the Fire Concept, if she would ever reach that level in the universe

On the other hand, Camille, Mei'er, and Bea hid behind Jude and Mathilfa to protect them from the extreme heat. Even though they are protected, they could still feel the intense heat behind them

Alucard also hid behind Mathilda since he is powered down and he doesn't have the Pureblood that has the abilities to protect him from the extreme heat

Even though Alucard doesn't have the Pureblood, he is still the Vampire King and a pureblood vampire. He can still tolerate the heat but the extreme heat is too much for him. Since he is a pureblood vampire, he can cultivate his own power to bring back the Pureblood power starting from him

He might be able to create the second Pureblood, if he managed to replicate each and every one of the one hundred Pureblood abilities in one. Since he is the 100th Pureblood Inheritor with the Blood Singularity, he has the super degraded version of the Blood Singularity as a Vampire King that can be called as Blood-Point Well

Of course, Sai wasn't affected by the heat too much at all since this level if heat is trivial to her. But if she were ever to fight Fotiá with his Divine Fire, she would have a hard time

However, Philip was just casually standing in the middle of the extreme heat wave. White lines kept growing around his shirtless body and arms, glowing brightly, and the light shattering into pieces. His Duality Kinetic State is also helping him and he's actually feeling cold because the temperature of his body is reaching -100°C and lower while his core temperature is at -15°C

Even with the extreme heat he's currently being doused with, his core temperature is constant but his body temperature is getting lower and lower the more the he is under the influence of the extreme heat

Natsu then raised her arms until it reached to her head, cleched her fists and flexed her arms, and pumped it forcefully to her sides

A loud noise swept up the surrounding that it created a small compact shockwave. Natsu glowed white and a faint blue then white fire gas generated around her body with a shade of blue next to her skin

Natsu's black hair turned bluish white and her black eyes turned blue and a white hollow circle formed in the middle of her pupils

At this moment, Justine has contemplated the heat wave and her eyes widened due to shock and became restless. According to her insight, the heat wave reaches up to 30,000°C, comparable to a Type-O star that has a color of blue-white

She immediately manipulated the heat wave. Her eyes turned red and there was a white glint on her eyes that leaves a trail as she moves her head. Small red markings formed around her arms as she flicked her arms around the air

The heat wave stopped before reaching the 700-meter mark from Natsu. The heat wave reversed and moved in a curve. It then spiralled around Nastu in a swirling motion. She is using her Swirlonic Power to manipulate the heat wave

Of course, as the heat wave is being contained in one spot and it's being compressed, the ambient light of the surroundings is slowly increasing in white color

The rest calmed down and watched the scene unfold. They stood still since they don't know what to do at this current moment and Philip is in charge, with the help of Justine and Sai

The extreme heat wave swirled around the vicinity of Natsu and Philip is still inside of it. Philip felt warmer after being under the heat of a blue-white star

"Natsu! Don't get too carried away!"

Philip shouted through the heat wave which Natsu manage to hear. She breathed deeply and stopped generating heat with the eerie sound

"Natsume..."

"On it!"

Philip called out to Natsume, who was just several feet away from him. She extended her hand towards Natsu to try and nullify her fire

Natsume closed her hand and Natsu's blue-white fire was instantly extinguished, as well as the heat wave

Natsu slowly hovered down because her ability is nullified. She looked confident and turned to Natsuki and Natsume with a happy expression

Natsuki and Natsume smiled back at Natsu, slightly surprised that their eldest sister is showing a positive expression for the first time in a while. Natsuki deactivated her ability and she ran, with Natsume, towards Natsu to hug her

Natsu smiled and placed her hands on her waist, letting her little sisters hug her, since she always wanted this. She just doesn't know how to ask for it or earn it

They were happy because their potentials has been unlocked and their ability was empowered and upgraded that they didn't know that could happen

They hugged each other while smiling and laughing joyfully

Philip's abilities calmed down. The vibrations of the atoms in his body slowly sped up to bring the temperature of his body back to normal

The white lines started to come back in his skin and his golden eyes returned back to being dark brown

He breathed deeply to remove the stress and disperse the Sword Aura. He started to sweat because his body became hotter than normal. His Duality Kinetic State changes depending on the core state of his body or his mind. That's why his body accidentally became hotter becuase he thought that it was cold a while ago and the thought lingered around

Of course, his muscular body glistened from the Sun because of his sweat. Natsume and Justine couldn't help but look at his body, along with some of the other girls, as he cool his body with the wind and breeze

Several hours have passed, everyone that is present has already eaten their fill during lunch and snacks

During those hours, they played several outdoor games like a game of tag, hide and seek, and games that Philip introduced to them when he was a kid. The games were called Langit Lupa or Heaven and Earth, Bente-Uno or Twenty-One, Agawan Base or Base/Fortress Stealing

The premise of the Heaven and Earth is like "The Floor is Lava" and the game of tag combined. There was an "it" that can chase someone on the ground but once the person being chased hopped or climbed into any kind of ledge, they'll be safe because they're in heaven. If they are on a ledge for too long, the "it" can use the length of from their thumb to their pinky finger to reach someone in a small ledge while they can reach someone with their arms or entire body in a larger platform as long as their foot is still touching the ground

The premise of Twenty-One is that there will be an "it" at the beginning. After the "it" tagged someone, both of them will be the "it". The game is like a zombie apocalypse since their will be multiple "its" until there is one last man standing. The last person gets to show off their dodging skills and last long enough until they're cornered. The first one to be tagged in the previous game will be the first "it" of the next game

The premise of Fortress Stealing is that there are two sides that sre trying to battle each other. Their goal is to touch their "base" to win but it will be hard because many people will be guarding the "base". The "base" can be anything that is stationary, a pole, a post, a pillar, or a trunk of a tree

Basically, everyone must be touching the base so that they will become protected. If a person leaves the base to try and touch the opponent's base, the opponent can leave their base to try and tag or capture the other one. In simpler terms, the person that left their base early is in danger to be captured by the opponent

Strategy and tactics are needed in this outdoor game. Send one person out to get close as possible to the opponent's base and bait them in leaving their base to capture them when they're chasing the bait

If multiple people were captured, they can hold each other's hands and extend their bodies towards their base, as long as a capture person is touching the opponent's base. This gives the opportunity for the other team to "save" all of their troops

Of course, if one person is left on the base, the other team can just surround them and touch the base to win

Everyone played this games with two different occasions. One is to not use any abilities and two is that abilities are allowed

Everyone had fun. People like Justine, Jude, Mathilda, and Sai dominated the playing field with their fast speed and flight. People like Natsume, Mei'er, and Bea were hopeless since they don't have any speed or flight

Justine can travel in a fraction of speed of light, Jude and Mathilda can travel in the speed of sound or faster if they chose to, and Sai can basically teleport in a blink of an eye that even Justine couldn't follow

So, necessarily at all times, the teams would be Justine and Jude versus Mathilda and Sai to avoid imbalanced matching

But, during the games relating to tag, no one are able to tag them four since they are very fast. Only Camille and Natsuki are the ones who has the chance to tag them

The game happened to finish because Philip took the responsibility of tagging one of the four of them. He is able to tag them because of his Future Vision, that sees the instantaneous future within ten seconds to a day, with the addition of his reformed body that allows him to run faster that what a human is capable of

Other people such as the maids, butlers, and security personnel joined in since Philip invited them to. It's rare for them to experience this because they will always be working and they needed to at least relax and have some fun in a day

They appreciated Philip very much and their respect for him has increased

It's already almost night time and everyone is minding their own business, being all quiet and sappy

Jude was looking down solemnly while thinking deeply about the sword while Mathilda is thinking deeply about the other consciousness that is living inside of her

Camille took off her sunglasses and looked at the sky that is slowly turning dark and the stars are showing up. She was quiet as she remembered her husband and his sacrifice thousands of years ago. The Cursed Energies around her just swirls around in a violent manner that no one was able to detect except for Philip and Justine

Natsuki and Natsu were talking silently to each other, catching up to one another, about Natsuki's life in the mansion and Natsu's life in the clan. They were sitting on grass while facing the mansion and the starry night sky

Bea was sitting down on the picnic carpet with her knees tucked into her body as she clutched it with her arms. She stares blankly in the air because she's reading and deciphering the One-paged Book that she memorized in her mind

On the other hand, Philip had his back against the tree, like always, and Justine is leaning on his right shoulder as she wraps her arms around Philip's right arm. Justine even dared to hold his hand which Philip let her

Mei'er had her head lying on Philip's left thigh. She was sleeping soundly and small flowers grew and bloom on the ground under her. Philip decided to caress her head and hair so she would feel relaxed as she sleeps

Meanwhile, Natsume was also beside Natsuki and Natsu but her full attention is directed towards Philip and Justine. She wasn't jealoud or envious at all, she just wanted to join and to at least feel his warmth

The maids and butlers also enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere as they stood by within the vicinity. The cool breeze circulating around the area, the fragrance and beauty of the flowers, the faint reflection of the dew from the grass, the soothing silence and silent murmurs, the ambient lighting and music, and the sense of protection that everyone's emanating that makes everyone be at ease

"Alright everyone... I guess that's it then, huh?"

Philip raised his voice enough to be heard by everyone and not wake up Mei'er. But she did wake up anyways

"Let's clean up and go on to sleep. It's already night time"

"Really? But the day isn't over yet for relaxing?"

Natsume complained. Philip narrowed his eyes at Natsume because he read that Natsume was trying to propose something

"What do you have in mind?"

"SLEEPOVER!!!"

Natsume screamed out of her lungs with no shame as she declared to everyone while standing up and pointing to the sky

Philip looked at her with incredulous eyes while the others looked at her warmly

"I think that's a good idea"

Justine smiled

"I have to pass"

"Me too. You youngsters should go"

"I guess I can go"

Camille, Jude, and Mathilda answer respectively

"Alucard and I will hang out. We'll leave when you're all about to sleep"

Sai spoke for her and Alucard without consulting him but Alucard seemed to like it and just nodded

Mei'er looked eager as she slightly pumped her arms in front of Philip

All of them then looked at Bea if she would join. She shook her head to reject everyone. She made it clear that she will continue her work deciphering the One-paged Book

Ultimately, Vanessa wasn't able to come to the picnic. A maid was sent by Vanessa to tell Justine. Justine was worried but she knows that Vanessa was too focused on studying the mysterious vials so it was fine

"So, where are we having our sleepover??"

Philip asked in curiosity. He is having a bad feeling

"Of course in you're room!"

Philip knew it. His mouth went agape and everyone looked at him with curious eyes
