Counter Ambush (Part 2) - Order - Touch - Metal

Tenshi aimed the Siren at one of the vehicles and started to shoot. The modified M16 echoed and screamed through the highway as the gun shot faster than normal

The bullets were blue and longer than usual, the projectile tracks were almost like lasers and the burst fire and smoke is blue and white colored

The bullets rained down on one of the vehicles and the vehicle managed to dodge the bullets by driving sideways even though it's facing its focus towards the truck. The other vehicles circled around the truck while still facing the truck and they were not losing speed at all

The bullets pierced the asphalt road and broke the entire road. Even if there are stray bullet hitting the vehicles, the armor were only being slightly dented, even though Tenshi's bullets are different from normal and it's coming from her ability and modified gun

Tenshi's confidence started to falter as the mounted guns from the vehicles is shooting her truck. The advanced automated driving system of the truck tried to maneuver through the highway while trying to minimize the damage from the bullet. The mounted guns of the truck retaliated but it could only do much damage

She became uneasy and focused solely on one target that kept avoiding her bullets. She wanted to go back inside and grab her personal shotgun, but once she left the top of the trailer, the vehicles would would ram the truck and immobilize it. She has no choice but to hold down the fort until reinforces arrive

Everything that happened spanned for ten seconds

"Tenshi! You're authorized to use Order, if you didn't know!"

Elaine's voice echoed in Tenshi's earpiece. She reminded Tenshi that she can use a fraction of her power to protect herself

"I can't! I'm too occupied!"

Elaine clicked her tongue. She was then surprised that a high velocity, fast moving object is approaching Tenshi's location. She smirked and hope filled her eyes

"Hey Tenshi, an early reinforcement is coming your eay in ETA 3 seconds. Hold on!"

"Affirmative"

Tenshi answered with excitement. She will meet one of the squadron members after a long time and she can't wait to work with them together

Just then, she heard a sonic boom echo from the sky as a jet flew over past them. The jet generated a shockwave in the sky when it stopped. It circled around in an impossible angle and resumed flight without stalling. The jet came towards Tenshi and the vehicles

The drivers of the vehicles became alarmed and they simultaneously became more aggressive. They rammed the truck and tried to immobilize it

The truck swiveled from the impact but it managed to stay on the road at high speed. Tenshi also managed to maintain her balance at the top of the trailer. She now became angry and her eyebrows furrowed deeply. She formed a deep grudge against the people operating the vehicles

It was then that there was a roar of bullets and explosion that occured just a few meters beside the truck. The truck wasn't damaged but it provided a screen and forced the vehicles move away

It was the jet that Sheena was riding. The jet flew above the truck and floated while maintaing the speed relative to the truck. Sheena jumped down from the cockpit to the trailer behind Tenshi with her LR-300 assault rifle

The jet maintained its flight even though Sheena is not in the cockpit. The jet rotated and faced the vehicles, to which they regroup back several meters behind the truck

The jet then released bullet hell onto the vehicles with Sheena blastimg her laser-like assault rifle, to which it bent a few armors of the vehicles

"Tenshi! I'll hold them off! You can use power!"

Sheena shouted at Tenshi behind the loud roars of the bullets. Tenshi nodded to Sheena and immediately raised her right hand into the sky

"Order!"

Tenshi shouted with strength and the sky drastically changed. The sky becane brighter and a pillar of light came down towards the truck. The jet went out of the way a strafed to the side while maintaining attack

Tenshi slightly floated from the trailer and her hair glowed. Light condensed behind her back and formed angelic wings. Her Siren also glowed brightly and she became more powerful

Tenshi's ability is called Heavenly Guidance that has the power to channel the power of the heavens to herself. There are eight stages in total and the first stage is Order. This allows her to gain the power of Order that can make her and her considered allies gain attack speed and strength when in battle. It affects living and non-living allies

Tenshi then joined Sheena in blasting the vehicles with their power. Her Siren became more powerful that it explodes in every hit. The recoil is also less and the bullet interval lessened. Her gun rivals Sheena's gun in terms of attack speed

Sheena then ceased fire and let Tenshi take over for a second. She crouched down and touched the trailer beneath her

As soon as she touched the surface of the trailer, colorful lines travelled around the trailer, which caused the trailer to vibrate and wobble. The seems and spacings of the truck emanated light and the mounted guns became more powerful, similar to the jet

It was then that the truck accelerated morecand reached 270mph. Nevertheless, the vehicles still managed to catch up but they are being held back by Tenshi

Sheena's ability is called Touch Upgrade. Anything that she touches will be upgraded to its full potential for one hour. It includes all machines, technology, and weapons. Her ability doesn't work on living beings that has a soul

The drivers of the vehicles became more agitated and alarmed that they quickened their pace. They were planning to finish the ambush and not prolong it any longer

The four vehicles accelerated further, the bouncing became more violent and absurb like a bulky brown bear reaching for its prey

The drivers didn't care for the rain of bullets coming from Sheena, Tenshi, the trailer and the jet. Their armors are strong but they are taking sustained damage overtime

They reached the truck to the side and resumed pitting and ramming more. Bullets were being fired everywhere that some civilians from the lane and opposite lane of the highway are collateral as they get mowed down by the truck, vehicles, and stray bullets

"Tenshi, Sheena, brace yourselves as Mark and Celine are inbound in five seconds"

Elaine's voiced echoed in their earpiece. Tenshi became more annoyed that the ambushers kept pitting and ramming her truck and she became serious

She floated into the air and a white halo appeared above her head. Her twintails fluttered from the wind as she raised her right hand to the sky

"Stakes!"

Tenshi swung her right arm downwards and the sky released large white spikes that came down towards the vehicles. The white stakes pierced the ground around the vehicles and trucks and they needed to avoid them

The truck swerved and lost control as it drifted on the highway. It was the same for the vehicles

Eventually, everyone came to a stop while the jet is still hovering around while keeping fire. Two vehicles stopped while two are still mobile distracting the jet

Sheena and Tenshi hid behind the cover that the trailer put up. The mounted guns kept aim at the halted vehicles. Guns were still blazing and both sides are in a standoff

It was then that several armed men came out of the compartment of the stopped vehicles and provided shots towards the trailer. Of course, they took cover whenever the mounted guns aimed at them

Sheena and Tenshi had a hard time because the mounted guns of the vehicles were constantly firing at them and they can't peek to shoot

It was then that their confidence suddenly spike up after hearing a familiar voice in their earpiece

"Heads up"

Mark said as two dual propeller helicopters flew above them and two individuals jumped down

Mark elegantly and skillfully landed in between the truck and the vehicles while guns were still blazing. He brandished the katana alloy and deflected, sliced, and parried the incoming bullets, providing space to Sheena and Tenshi

The two H2-90 Helicopters hovered behind the truck and provided firing support. Sheena immediately stood up, jumped, and touched the helicopters, rendering them more powerful and agile

The ambushers started to get held back and supressed. The stopped vehicles also started to receive noticeable damage and the drivers decided to move it while the armed men held to the side of the vehicle

It was then that there was an explosion in the distance as debris of scrap and metal rained everywhere from where the jet is keeping fire

One vehicle exploded because Celine chose to land on one of the vehicles that the jet is in pursuit of. She did some acrobat in the air as she punched and smashed the driver's seat that it deformed the main armor and chasis of the whole vehicle

The mounted guns aimed at her and she skillfully dodged the bullets with near to impossible movements. She went towards one of the mounted guns and broke it with her fists. She repeated it until all guns were destroyed

The jet distracted the other vehicle and Celine's vehicle is rendered useless without the mounted guns. The driver panicked and drove unpredictably

The driver made Celine fly up into the air but that would be the worse decision that he made. Celine extended her right leg as she fell towards the vehicle

"Bone Shatterer"

When Celine fell towards the vehicle, she used a Martial Arts technique that renders bones into dust the moment she hit someone. Since the vehicle is made if metal and deformed armor, the technique was enough to pierce through the engine and making it explode

The explosion wasn't enough to injure Celine as she qhickly waved her hands around in a technique to minimize the heat and force of the explosion

Nonetheless, she was still pushed back and she did several backflips before landing on the ground

She then climbed up the trailer as the truck restarted its engine and started to move

Meanwhile, Mark is still standing in the middle of the bullet rain while deflecting all the bullets with his katana

"I don't know what your motive in ambushing the Heaven's Truck but, you will all receive judgement that you never have experienced before. My conviction is that everyone here must die"

Mark started to walk while still deflecting bullets. He accelerated every second until he came running and dashing. The afterimages of the swing of the katana can be seen as sparks and bullet casings fly around. His white hair fluttered from the wind and his hands started to change in appearance

His hands turned metallic that has a brass color. The gloves also turned metallic as he waved his katana around

In just a few seconds, Mark arrived in front of one of the vehicles. A few of the armed men jumped down and confronted him with daggers and knives

Mark did not waste a single moment and dashed through the armed men, cutting through their weapons and dismembering their limbs ad decapitating their heads

He then jumped towards the vehicle and cut it in half like butter. This was possible because the moment the katana touched the metallic components of the vehicle, it immediately turned into tin and aluminum, which a steel and tungsten can cut through

This is because of Mark's ability called Metal Transfusion and Transmutation. This allows him to transmutate any kinds of metal into whatever he wants and create alloys that has never achieved by humankind before. The transmutation process is instant but it will flow if applied to a larger mass

The Metal Transfusion ability makes it so that he could not only transmutate metals, but transfuse metals into organic and inorganic substances, so that he could transfuse them. He could also undo the tranfusion

With this ability, Mark didn't have a hard time slicing and dicing the unknown vehicle into pieces. Fortunately, the vehicle didn't explode like the one earlier. Of course, the driver became minced meat after that

At that moment, Mark was left by the truck with Celine, Sheena, and Tenshi on it. The two H2-90 came with them but the jet is still in pursuit of the third vehicle and it's almost destroyed. But Mark wasn't worried at all because he knows that they'll be back

The remaining vehicle faced Mark, who was left alone. The driver and the remaining armed men became confident because he was left alone. They think that they will win against him if he's alone. They're ignoring the fact that he just destroyed one vehicle alone without the help of others

The remaining armed men sneered and made fun of Mark while the mounted guns aimed at him

"Haaah..."

Mark could only sigh from their ignorance. He then turned around and brandished his katana once again
