Chapter 1- My New Life

Luke's POV

'I got reincarnated!!!'

I was too happy for this. Being a person who neglected his studies to read web novels, there is nothing more that I would want.

My name is Luke.

I was a normal university student who liked reading web novels. But I read them just a little more. So much so that I actually did not fear death. Because I thought that I would get reincarnated anyway... And that's what happened to me. I died to the most common vehicle that transports the MCs of the books. Truck kun!! Because of this, I had even higher expectations on my reincarnation !

I lived in a family of four. My father, who always irritates everyone in the family; my mother who always wants us to shine in our lives; my younger brother, who always disturbs me while reading(web novels of course), and finally, me.

That day, I was walking home with my brother, from the local market, buying the items my mother was asking for days. Yes, she has been asking for days for me to bring the items. Since I was busy reading the new book, I didn't go out till today, when she scolded my brother and me.

...Well, back to the topic.

I was walking with my brother, crossing the road, and suddenly, BAAM! truck kun sent me to this world.

I am 12 days old now.

Surprisingly, my name is the same as before I reincarnated.

Many people visited me since I was born. All of them looked like top-class nobles. All of them were wearing white clothes. Fortunately, I can understand their language.

What I got to know was that according to a prophecy, I am the 'Hero' of this world! How lucky! That explains the noble treatment I am getting.

But its quite lonely here. It seems that I am currently in the Holy church. The church worships the God of Light. From what I saw, there are many Towers in this Church. I am in the 'Hero' Tower. And the whole tower is for me!!

It was said that there was a hero born decades before me... and he was my father. He died months before I was born in a war. He sacrificed himself to win the war.

Its been a month since my birth. Right now I am alone, on my cradle.

I am always been worn the best dresses. I always dreamt of slacking off and having others to do the work. But I know that an MC should venture the whole world. I hadn't gone out of this room since I was born. I can't wait to see the outside world with my own eyes!

While I was thinking to myself, my personal maid enters.

It seems that she was quite strong and trustable to be working as the Hero's maid.

She wore the white dress of the maid and had white hair. She looked to be in her 20's.

Her name was Christiana. The Holy Knight of the Church and she is nothing but a maid for me. Now that's called power!

She walked in with her hand holding a toy, a mini sword. Yes, a month year old boy is handed sword as his toy. Since my father has been the most powerful hero, and has died in the battlefield, The news of me being born was spread world-wide. So everyone has high expectations on me to become the next strongest. And I don't disagree with it since I knew that in a world of swords and magic, Power is the most important thing. If you have power, you can do anything. Even I want to see myself powerful. And I want to test out the body of a 'Hero'.

Christiana's voice brings me back from my imaginary world, "Lord Hero? Are you happy playing with the sword? We all want you to become as great as the Previous Lord~"

I reply with a baby smile.

She kept nagging about things like 'a hero that saves the world', blah blah...

This lady is quite the type. She always nags about the same thing.

I just ignore her and play with my sword(Not the one you think. I'm talking about the toy sword).

After a while, she completed her work and left.

'... Now I am all alone again. Now I feel that It is quite lonely without my brother. I wonder what happened to him? I guess he died with me too. But did he reincarnate like me? Since we both were hit by the same Truck kun, there might be a chance for him to reincarnate with me. But since he isn't here.... I guess he died. Well, given his personality, he might as well be the one who gave up his chance of reincarnation to me.... Damn, lets just forget about the past and live my life to the fullest!'
