Residual

I sat down heavily on my bed as I finished pulling on my gloves, unable to help my pounding heart as I waited for Luc to arrive. Azger would be bringing Sarai back to Earth to live in their house and Luc… was moving in with me. 

It had only been a few days since our contest against the Creator and Evan, and despite Bellas and Luc returning to the Seal to check, no signs of the Angel could be found. Adam was also suspiciously missing, and despite my relief about the Creator, I didn't like the coincidence. I was certain it wasn't one and while the pair agreed with me, until we could locate one of them, there was nothing we could do about either. Even Ambrose and Anfalen seemed content to call the affair done, but I wasn't ready to discount Evan until I watched him die.
