RELIEVED

Nahor and Jordan just came from upstairs and when they entered the room everyone kept silent.

Everyone put on face of relief. They almost believed that there was going to be no wedding. From the delay and everythingthey were losing all hope but when they saw the groom and his best man they were certain there was a wedding that was going to happen.

Nahor and Jordan walked straight to the priest. Nahor greeted him and bowed his head down. He was the same priest who conducted the wedding ceremony of his father and mother.

So Nahor highly respected him.

"I almost thought you wouldn't come Nahor,"said the priest whose name was Gyon.

"I would never disappoint you ,"said Nahor.

"Where is the bride?I think she is on her way,"Nahor replied.

Upstairs a message was sent to Neya telling her to come down stairs.

The groom was already waiting.

When Neya heard that Nahor was already there she felt relieved but at the same time felt a little bit nervous.

Why wouldn't she. She was going to marry a complete stranger and spend at least some time of her life with him. She had to be brave.

Her bridesmaids came to fetch her,"My lady we need to go."

"Give me some time"said Neya

"I amm sorry but it is a strict order that we should go down with you immediately. Please come with us."

Neya knew she couldn't dodge this time so she gave in an d they slowly marched down stairs.

Everyone was waiting to see the woman who would marry Nahor.

Their soon to be princess. That lucky woman. Everyone thought that she was lucky to have this chance to get married to a person like him but Neya did not feel the same way. She only thought that it was a punishment to her. Getting married to a man she did not love. Nothing could have been more worse than that.

No one had ever seen Neya before so this was their chance. They thought Neya was a nice name.

But there were only two people who had anxiously waited to see each other. Nahor and Neya. These two could not wait to see. Nahor wanted to see the courageous woman who dared to accept the marriage and Neya wanted to see the arrogant prince who everyone was so afraid of. They were only some steps away from each other.

Nahor wanted to see his bride and Neya wanted to see her groom. You could say they were a perfect match but they themselves did not think so. Getting married to someone who was a complete stranger wasn't all that easy for her. She had always imagined her prince charming would look for her and they would fall in love but this time it was different she was the one who found him and there was sure going to be no love between them.

But as Neya was coming, her face could not be seen clearly because of the veil that she had on her face.

She marched down with the maidservants following behind her. One step at a time,"she said to herself. She was very careful with every step that she took . and she slowly marched towards the wedding altar. Nahor tried to see her face but could not because of the veil covering her face.

Everyone marvelled at how beautiful her gown was and how beautiful she was looking even if they could not see her face. They could still tell that she was very beautiful.

Even though they had not yet seen her face, they knew that she was very beautiful. They were very sure of that.
