Cedric could not understand what impressed the Shadow Roc, but he was more than happy that the ancient creature did not resent him for burying the Shadow Monarch. Although a few hours passed in Umbra, Cedric returned to the exact point he left.
The Shadow Knight was inches away from piercing his heart. Before Cedric were two blinking options, asking him whether he wanted to release his shadow or not. Cedric had never heard of such a thing, but he knew it had to help him.
