Chapter 5 - Tick Tock Mothafacka

After saying goodbye Alex left alone.

Lilith went back to the underworld and Emilia started preparing for the banquet.

It was still some time before the start of the banquet.

Alex went home and saw Clara dressed up for the event.

She looked beautiful as a fairy.

Alex couldn't help himself, he came behind her and hugged her waist.

Clara was startled but when she saw who it was she smiled and said, "Where were you? The banquet is going to start get dressed. We will go together."

"My wife look more beautiful than those jade beauties."

"Flattery won't get you anywhere mister get ready", Clara harumphed but the corners of her mouth lifted upwards. No women would be upset after hearing others call them beautiful and if the person who calls them beautiful is someone they loved they would be more happy.

"Oh right I will like you to meet with somebody tonight", Alex said.

"Who?", Clara asked.

"My daughter", Alex said without thinking.

But as soon as he said that he understood that he should tell her about this properly or all hell will break loose.

And as he expected as Clara heard the words 'My Daughter' her mind went blank and she had a murderous expression on her face.

"Your daughter hmmm. As I seem to recall you didn't tell me anything about this daughter. Is she from your previous life but how can be that possible she should be in upper realm and should be quite old by now.

That that means she's your child in this life. But your mental health was bad until this morning and you were mostly with me.

Wait a minute your mental health was bad and when I was at work then maybe some woman seeing you being handsome took advantage of you. Who is the damn Vixen I will kill her. Also how old is your daughter?" Clara keep going on and on.

"Calm down Clara it's not as you are thinking and she is older than both of us"

After that Alex told her everything about Emilia, their meeting, their journey and how she suffered after his death.

Hearing this Clara calmed down and sympathize with Emilia who had to lost her parents twice.

"She calls me father and you mother or rather your previous reincarnation as mother. So that means she's our daughter. I know it is difficult for you to accept this for now but give her a chance and talk to her, you will see she's a good child", Alex said.

Clara felt funny. She thought she was just 23 this year and now she had a daughter which is God know how many years older than her.

But then she thought she must also be an immortal cultivator that's why she can live for this long

"Ok I will meet her but will it be alright for her to come to the banquet"

"You don't have to worry about that. She will most likely be tonight's Chief guest. But I am quite surprised to see you look so calm. As I recall tonight's banquet is about you and that whatever young master. Aren't you worried about that?", Alex asked with a light smile.

"With my husband being the powerful Evil God why should be I scared", Clara said with a smile.

Seeing her smile Alex remembered her past life's wife and her figure overlapped with the person standing in front of her.

Both their smiles are alike and their temperament was also alike.

Whatever previous doubts he had now they were gone.

He was sure she is her previous life's wife reincarnation.

"I love you Clara", he blurted out.

Clara was taken aback as she didn't thought Alex would say that out of nowhere. A blush appeared on her pretty face.

She felt happy in her heart as this was the first time her husband has said those words to her.

She knew that he was somewhat hesitant regarding her as she looks like his previous life's wife even though she said that she was sure she was his late wife's reincarnation but still she feared that if she was not his previous life's wife reincarnation what would she do? Will Alex still love her? But hearing him say that she was relieved and happy.

The atmosphere between both became intimate and both couldn't help but gaze into each other eyes.

Their face slowly start coming closer to each other and as their lips were about to meet the door flew open and Gina's face came into their view.

The intimate atmosphere between them disappeared.

Alex couldn't help but curse in his heart, 'Fuck I hate blueballs.'

"Clara you are dressed, Good", Gina said.

"Remember you must serve young master White properly today. If you can make him happy our Emerson family can get one of the higher family's support."

"Mom haven't I worked hard for this family over the years. I will not sell myself to that young master. Also Alex has been healed he is a normal person now, so I will not do anything that would damage his reputation"

"Reputation! What reputation does this trash has? Even though he is healed he is nothing compared to young master White", Gina sneered.

"Well you are right about one thing, that young master whatever and I are nothing alike. He is just a f*cker who doesn't know his place and dares to covet my wife. He will get what is coming to him", Alex said with a calm expression.

Hearing this Gina was furious she had already thought of young master of White family as her son in law yet this bastard dare to curse him.

She roared furiously, "What did you say you trash!"

Then she calmed down and said, "Now that you are not an idiot it's also good. Now you should know that Clara is not in your league so you should sign the divorce and leave her for good."

Hearing this an eerie smile came to Alex's face. Now that he had been given a chance to be with his wife again this b*tch want him to leave her.

Now he had this happiness he won't let anything threaten his happiness. He will destroy those who would try to destroy his happiness.

Seeing his smile Clara understood what he was going to do.

She came in front of her and said to him in a light voice, "Alex calm down. Don't hurt her. Even though she's like that she has given birth to me. Please don't hurt her. I will never leave you. Don't worry."

Hearing her voice Alex calmed down and smiled at her gently.

Gina didn't heard what they talked about.

She said to Clara, "Let's go. We have to arrive early."

Clara nodded and as they were about to leave Alex called her and as she turned to face him he kissed her lips.

Clara was startled and her heart started beating like crazy but she also savored the feeling of their first kiss.

After few seconds their lips parted.

Clara whole face was red like a tomato. She dash out feeling embarrassed.

Gina mouth flew open seeing that scene.

She was about to curse Alex when Alex look at her.

His lips were curved upwards.

Seeing this Gina felt somewhat uncomfortable in her heart. At that time Alex's voice came into her ears.

"I have told you before and will tell you again Clara is mine and mine alone. Anyone who dares to threaten our relationship will not have a good end. I have told you if you want to live you have a chance tonight. Tick tock mothafacka tick tock", Alex said as he walked out.

Gina felt fear hearing him spoke like that. She thought that he was not normal but then thought whatever he was nothing in front of White family so there's no need to be afraid.
