Cage paced the room again. It'd been a while since he'd seen Marcus, Kyng told him they were taking a trip and that Cage would to stay in the room and not talk to Colt. Dragon stayed behind to keep the peace.

"Are they still not back?" Cage asked for the fifth time today.

"Cage, you and Colt will be the first to know, trust me I want to go home I can't do that until they come back. Cage flopped down on the chair flipping through the book stopping on a page that caught his eye.

(AlphaXAlpha mates… offended frowned upon the new drug system as made the change available. Alpha's are now without fear of being mated to the same gender.)

Cage was so lost in the book he didn't hear the commotion. Dragon jumped from his chair racing to Colt's side, he'd gone into early labor at 29 weeks it was a grim outlook for him.

Hours after everyone had left Rico walked back and unlocked the cage for Marcus to see Cage, but found him sleeping at the table with the book in his hand. Marcus waved to Rico with a nod he left.

"Sweety, I'm back." Marcus whispered as he lifted Cage to the bed. A knock on the cage door woke Cage.

"Yes," He groggily,

"Dr is here to check your progress." Marcus sat up rubbing his eyes and Cage froze.

"You'r….e back." Marcus smiled as Cage threw him in a hug. While the Dr. set up Marcus stepped out to chat with Kyng and Rico.

"How is Colt doing? I heard he went into early labor?"

"Yes, he's doing well, just weak." The Dr. then tied the band around his arm and drew blood. A few minutes later he checked him for other issues and found none.

"Everything looks good, I'll call Kyng later with the blood results." Cage nodded yes and watched him leave.

"Rico…Rico" Cage yelled from the door window.

"What?"

"Please… Can I please have some sushi, oh and egg rolls, I know there's alot going on but I didn't have dinner or breakfast." Cage asked with a pout, he sat on the chair watching Tv drawing a few pictures when Dragon walked in with the food the smell sent Cage running past him puking in the toilet.

"Morning sickness… good sign," Dragon said with a bored, as he sat the food on the table.

"But I really wanted the sushi and egg rolls." Cage whimpered, scratching his fingers together.

"Well the baby says no," Dragon seemed to be in an odd mood and Cage just wanted him to leave for now.

"Baby?" Marcus said standing in the doorway with Kyng.

"He asked for the food and then he puked at the smell. Dr. came and did vitals he said he'll call you later." Dragon sighed and left, before he was completely out of sight Cage watched Dragon whisper something in Marcus' ear.

Kyng only looked at Cage with a mix of hate and joy. Cage stumbled down onto the chair holding his belly, he hid a small whimper that he'll never actually know this baby. It's Kyng baby, he must hand it over. Marcus laughed sitting next to Cage with all the joy in the world until Cage looked at him and his smile felt as if reality hit him as well.

"It's ok, I'm sure we'll see it grow up." Marcus kissed his temple and cheered as he set the table up for dinner.

Over the next two months the room grew too small for Cage he felt suffocating; there were days that Marcus wouldn't be able to visit and days that Cage needed him most he was busy it felt as though everything was working against him. Colt had came home from the hospital so Rico and Dragon waited on him and didn't have time to feed Cage on time, he had now saved the food he did get for them if they forgot to feed him.

"Cage come here," Kyng ordered and Cage hunched his shoulders as he walked to the door. Kyng opened the door allowing Cage to walk out into the lounge room where he found Colt sitting on the couch with the babies feeding.

"Sit down," Kyng snapped. Cage didn't argue, his eyes roamed the room.

"How are you? I was told Alpha's being pregnant is harder mentally and physically." Colt said with a smile, but a hint of sadness.

"I'm not going to be happy chappy with you, but I understand that the baby is affecting you. Daddy and I've seen that you're not sleeping or eating." Colt said.

"Marcus is busy with work, he can't drop everything to cartier to you," Kyng barked, sitting next to Colt cupping a baby head.

"Can I please go back to my room?" Cage sniffle,

"You've been in that room for nearly a year, why?"

"I'm sleepy sir." Cage cupped his belly hiding the fear that Colt and Kyng would beat him for speaking.

"Ok, the door locks automatically." Cage sluggishly walked into the room and closed the door laying on the bed he left asleep curled in a ball. That night the Dr. came to check Cage but he talked to Cage Kyng and Colt gave him details about how he's been acting. The Dr. hummed and after the check up the Dr. watched Cage just sit and stare into space, his eyes were soulless.

"Doc, would he be able to get through the pregnancy like this?"

"I strongly recommend Marcus spend at least two weeks with him to jump start his moods. It has been researched that mates feel a disconnect when the other is gone for long periods of time."

"But they're both Alpha's mating doesn't work like that?"

"It does, it's a proving study, a pregnant alpha has a higher bond than an omega. He needs his mate Marcus." The Dr. patted Kyng on the back and nodded his head to Colt as he left.

"Daddy," Colt whispered and Kyng stared at the camera watching Cage curled up in a ball crying.

"Please call Marcus to come."

"He doesn't want to be around Cage while he's pregnant." Kyng said, Colt just sighed.
