Hurts

Emperor Kaiser indifferently looked at the woman, who was staring at him with admiration and coveted eyes. Frowning in disgust, he ordered his soldiers, "EXECUTE HER". Only two words were required to make the woman disappear from out of his sight.

Without bothering to look at the girl's shocked and horrified expression, he turned away from the woman and gently rubbed his daughter's head.

His eyes softened with love, as his lips were raised into a faint smile. Looking at his beloved daughter's teary expression, he asked, "Happy?". The princess pursed her plump lips and hugged her father's waist, "Happy".

Emperor Kaiser fondly rubbed his daughter's head and chuckled. He looked at the soldier and waved his hand, signalling him to deal with the woman. In spite of the shrill screams and loud begging cries from behind their back, he and his daughter calmly walked toward their grand palace, hand in hand, leaving the beautiful yet tattered woman behind the golden gates.

As per the Emperor's order, the soldiers dragged the 3rd princess of Scarlet Empire and executed her in front of the Scarlet royal family, displaying the consequences of hurting the 38th princess of Titan Empire.

From then on, no one dared to even touch a single hair of the 38th princess, who was known as the beloved child of cold-blooded Emperor Kaiser. Even if a person unknowingly hurt the princess, then he/she would be immediately found dead within that day.

The 38th princess of Titan Empire happily lived her life with her harem of 45 handsome men, who were under the protection of the cold-blooded Emperor of Titan Empire. Therefore, no women and men ever tried to speak out their inner thoughts.

Because if they do, then they can forget about being found alive the next day.

-The End

"Oh come on, this is full of bullshits", Kiko Kimura grabbed the book from her colleague's hand and threw it in the garbage can. "Holy sh*t!", Akari exclaimed in utter shock. Throwing all her cleanliness IQ out of her mind, she immediately picked the book from the smelly garbage can. After confirming that the book didn't smell like sh*t, she sighed out in relief.

"Do you have any respect for books!", Akari Saito shouted in anger. Even though she knew that her friend didn't like this particular book, it was her first time witnessing such an rash act toward books. Seeing the woman walking ahead as if she had not done anything, she fummed in anger.

With the book beside her chest, she chased after her friend. If she didn't give some nice beatings to her friend, then she isn't the daughter of the Saito family.

Just as Kiko stepped on the pedestrian crossing zone, her phone rang with a familiar ringtone. Pulling out her phone from the bag, she furrowed her brows and answered the call. "Where are you? I'm hungry", the pleasant voice, which Kiko loved and also hated to hear, complained in a crying tone.

Rolling her eyes, she said, "I've saved the dumplings in the refrigerator, heat it and eat that. It'll still take 20-30 mins for me to reach home". Seeing the surrounding pedestrians hurriedly crossing the road, she quickened her walking speed.

"Hehe, ok bu-"

"Bakka!".

Kiko turned around, only to witness her friend rushing over and pushing her shoulders with great force. When she saw her friend, Akari standing there with an horrified expression, she cursed,

"f*ck!".

Beeeeepppppp.....

Crrassssssshh....

"Ahh!"

"Oh my God, someone call an ambulance!"

Akari was stiff as an Ice. After some few minutes, she was able to comprehend the grave impact of her rash action.

With tints of blood on her pale blue shirt and her face, she blankly moved in between the crowd of people. When she finally got to see the woman, who was lying on the road with blood all over her body, she immediately fell on her knees.

Anxiously crawling to her friend, she howled, "Koko!." Holding her friend's shoulders, she wept, "Koko, I-I'm so sorry!." She didn't know what to say nor what to do. Seeing her friend's head with scarlet blood spreading on the road, she howled, "Koko!".

With great difficulty, Kiko fluttered her eyelashes open. Seeing the idiot friend of hers, she inwardly rolled her eyes. "Koko! Don't close your eyes! Look at me! Look at me". Feeling the continuous harsh slaps on her face, Kiko deeply frowned. 'For God sake! Allow me to peacefully die!'

"Koko! Wuuu, please don't die. I promise to burn this book ok? So don't die....Don't smile idiot!", Akari didn't know whether she was mourning or scolding her friend. She placed the book upon Kiko's stomach and said sincerely, "If you want, I'll give you this book. Ok?".

The book was not a science book, nor a GK book, but it was actually a manga. The title goes by, "The Beloved Child". When the manga was first released on the internet, the female readers were crazy for it. It was so popular that the manga was published in different ways. Novels, Manga, Anime, Movies, Drama and also an otome game for females and males.

When Kiko first saw the manga, it was saved in Akari's favorite & important list in her desktop. Curious, she read it. After reading the complete manga, she was so enraged that she broke the laptop to pieces (it wasn't hers any way).

She hated the characters and all the sh*t like- cheesy lines. She mostly hated the innocent white lotus b*tch, the Emperor and the crown prince of another Empire.

One, they're brainless. Two, the men were too cruel. Three, the heroine is nothing but a cry baby. Four, they're all black hearted people. Five, they killed innocent people, who didn't even have any connection with the heroine.

And she deeply hated the Author of the manga. He/she was brainless with nothing but sh*ts in his/her brain.

When Akari saw the state of her laptop, she had to rub her eyes several times. If it weren't for Kiko being her best friend, then she won't even hesitate to take the garden shovel and break her head.

With great difficulty, Kiko lifted her hand and pushed the book down. Even during the last moment of her death, she'll never accept the trashy manga.

Akari's lips subconsciously twitched in disbelief. Even during death, her friend was being paranoid. Holding her friend's hand, she wept, "Koko, I-".

"Shut up", Kiko mumbled, annoyed at her friend's rambling. She couldn't even die peacefully. She didn't even understand why she accepted this idiot girl as her friend in the first place.

The woman was so talkative, a headache to her calm brain, a heartache to her indifferent heart and a heartwarming psycho.

Alas, now that she's gonna die, it seems like her elder brother had to eat instant noodles from now on. What an unlucky guy. "Koko!".

Why can't this idiot shut her mouth? Her ears are seriously gonna become numb!

"Koko! Please don't die. Koko!", Akari howled as she rapidly shook Kiko's shoulders. She can't let her friend die, or else brother Shiro would bury her alive. She wasn't afraid of going to prison but she was scared of brother Shiro. He was far scarier than any being she had seen. If he knew that she killed his beloved sister, then he'll torture her to death. Ahh!

"The ambulance is here. Please make way!"

Unexpectedly, the ambulance wasn't required. It was too late. Too late to save the woman. Kiko Kimura sighed and closed her eyes, entering in her eternal sleep.

"Bakka!"

Kiko wondered whether she heard wrong or not. Her friend seriously called her Bakka! She at least expected emotional words like, "I won't forget you", "Rest in peace", "I'll take care of brother" and something like that.

But never. Never did she think that she'll hear Bakka as her friend's final word. She didn't know whether to laugh nor cry. ', You're bakka! You're dog is bakka and Your trashy manga is also bakka!'.

Alas, she couldn't speak those words aloud. Before she knew it, she was enveloped by darkness. Was she scared or excited, she didn't know.

People say death is not the end, should she believe it? (Probably).

Was she gonna meet Reaper or God? She didn't know. As long as she knew, she was a good person.

She helped her friends in doing homework, helped her bff to confess her crush, helped the stray cats, gave foods for homeless dogs, helped her neighbour in gardening, helped her colleagues in their projects, cooked food for her brother, babysit her boss's baby, prayed everyday, sent money to her orphanage and gave clothes to the old grandma, who was sleeping on the street.

She was also praised by her teachers (marks), by her colleagues (intelligent brain), by her neighbours (strong physique), by her brother (cooking for him), by the old grandma (kind hearted) and by her orphanage sisters.

Overall, she was probably going to meet God. Isn't she?

But, no matter what she did, she couldn't open her eyes (mentally). It was like an invisible force, causing her body to feel numb to her unknown surroundings (which was not a problem). She could only wait.

As days (days? weeks? Probably months) pass by, her whole body somewhat began to feel warm. It was surprisingly a very pleasant and comfortable feeling. Imagine after working non stop for a day, you immediately soak yourself in the warm bath tub, how would you feel?

Kiko inwardly let out a sigh in relaxation. She didn't know what was around her, nor did she care. Unless she felt uncomfortable, she wouldn't mind dwelling like this. After all, she was scared that God might abandon her. Even though she didn't do a lot of bad things, it wasn't small either.

She murdered a cockroach, ignored her beautiful flowers, passed bit papers to her friends (during exam), stole books from library, cheated the ice cream shop owner, destroyed her friends laptop, beat up her principal (earning suspension), skipped classes, stole projects from other companies and had an marriage with her boyfriend, who already had a wife.

She was afraid. Afraid that God would abandon her. Her mother died when she was 5 yrs old. Her father, she didn't see him nor knew him. She was then sent to the orphanage with her elder brother. Unsurprisingly, a couple picked her brother, who was bright and handsome, unlike her, who was dull and ugly.

Nevertheless, her brother only told yes when the couple decided to bring her along. Her life could be considered as dull as her face. She was a bookworm, an otaku, a fighter (in martial arts), a gamer, later a secretary and an abandoned woman by her husband (who had a wife, and she didn't know of it). Nothing interesting.

She didn't like martial arts, but since her seniors bullied her, she had no other option but to learn it. She also won many gold medals and silver medals, but it was of no use. She couldn't even eat it nor use it. What a waste….

And about her marriage, it's one of her depressing moments. She and her boyfriend had been in a relationship for 12 years. She thought that he deeply loved her, but reality was too cruel. On the day of her wedding night, her boyfriend's wife and child came knocking on her house.

After slapping her and cursing words like, "wh*re", "sl*t", "temptress", "b*tch", "pr*st*t*te" and words like that, she threw a bundle of money on her face and yelled, "Get out of my husband's life!".

She also vividly remembered the 5 year old child's words, "Please don't take my daddy away from me. I can't live without him". She was bewildered by the sudden truth. She didn't know her husband got married, not did she know that he had a 5yr old daughter!

The next day, she didn't hesitate to pack her clothes and fly off to America. She dragged her husband from America and brought him to his real wife's house. Throwing the same bundle of money on his face, she released all her inner pain, "Is this what you called true love?! How long were you trying to hide it from me? If your wife and daughter didn't tell me about you, then I'll still be thinking that you really love me. You bastard! How much I trusted you! Wh-why did you lie?!".

Staring into his guilty and sorrowful eyes, she shouted, "What! Didn't you say that you love me? Then what about them? What about that woman, who you have been hiding for 5 years! What about the child whom you've both created!? Wha-wha-what about me?".

Her tears uncontrollably poured out of her eyes.

She was never liked by anyone, because she wasn't beautiful nor bright as other girls. When she met this boy, it was during her way to her home. She and him unknowingly bumped into each other. From then on, he usually came to her class and paid extra attention to her. After being together for 12 years, she thought he loved her, but he was just using her for hiding his real beloved. She now felt like sh*t!

"Koko, I-", the man tried to reach out, but Kiko yelled in disgust, "Don't touch me!". She wiped her tears and said, "We are done. I have signed the divorce papers, it's your turn". Saying so, she threw the divorce papers on his face and walked off. She didn't want to see her boyfriend's (now a stranger) face anymore. Her heart aches and her eyes sting. Naive. How naive was she.

Recalling those memories, Kiko inwardly frowned. What is the use of reminiscing those events. It only brought nothing but suffocating pain and anguish. Speaking of pain, why was she feeling pain? Wasn't her surrounding supposed to be warm and comfortable, as it used to be?

'Hurts', Kiko inwardly frowned and tried to do something about it. Then, she felt it. She felt a powerful vacuum like force, pulling her body out of an imaginary tight hole. It was painful and suffocating. She wanted to scream, but she couldn't open her mouth.

She wanted to escape from this torment, but she couldn't move an inch. She felt weak and powerless, and she couldn't do anything about it. For the first time, she was scared. Scared of the pitch black surroundings. It frightened her. She couldn't help but try to pry open her numb mouth.

Suddenly, an eye blinding light enveloped her body and she felt her mouth move. Instantly, anguish cries spilled out of her mouth.

"Wuuaaaaaaaaa..."
