The formation of elite monsters made their way up the stairs. The dark elves were the first ones to appear on the first floor and everyone stared at them.
With their long black hair and pointy ears, Jin had already predicted that the people would stare at them. Well, to be fair it was also the first time the elite troops were shown to the outside world so it might be because of this as well. The elves were wearing tight outfits with knives strapped on their legs, a bow in their hands and a quiver on their back.
With their speed, it didn't take long before they made a half circle waiting for the others to appear.
Soon after, Lilliana appeared. When people saw a black dragon appear, unlike they did the elves, they all backed off a little bit further. The other leaders were all riding on her back. With their attractiveness, everyone came back as fast as they left.
A few seconds later, the salamanders, the nymphs and dryads appeared with the harpies flying above them.
The adventurer's who had once planned on invading the house floor to take over the dungeon were feeling quite stupid right at this moment. They couldn't believe that they once thought about trying their luck. At this moment, countless adventurer's were patting themselves on the back for their lack of strength which made it impossible for them to enter the depths of the dungeon.
At this moment, everyone including the barbarians who had been in the dungeon for longer than the others were also quite happy about the face that they never forced themselves in the dungeon.
As for the kings who once planned on taking the dungeon in secret? They looked at each others and the only thought that passed through their mind was: 'That's the dungeon's strength!'
It must be said that dragons were extremely rare. In the outside world, this specie of monster lived in a reclusive valley at the end of the continent. In other words, nobody saw them. Never. Even in dungeons, the dragons were normally in the extreme bottoms floors so not a lot of people could see them.
The formation made their way until the entrance of the dungeon and finally got out. The trial had just started so, it was time to start cleaning the monsters in the outside world.
They immediately went to work. One thing that was great was that ever since the barbarians and people from the different kingdoms were in the dungeon, the monster cleaning was mostly abandoned. While it wasn't necessarily a good thing it was perfect in this situation for the monsters and Jin.
The elves immediately started hunting in the trees. Thanks to the fact that the skeletons were mindless monsters, they all made small hunting teams.
The salamanders went further in the forest and threw a ball of lava from their mouth to each target they found. With each of the salamanders, there was a nymph. There was only a small portion of the forest that had rivers so some of them stayed with the fire breathing monsters to protect the forest.
As for the dryads, they mixed up with the trees and used the vegetation to kill the skeletons. They used the roots of the trees to connect with the earth and find out where the skeletons were placed before controlling the vegetation for the kill.
The harpies hunted the flying skeletons type of monsters while also looking for monsters nest. While there was a high amount of undeads in the forest, they were not the only ones.
If they found a monsters nest, Lilliana was there to back them up since she was big and couldn't really hunt the weak monsters in the forest or she would level the entire forest in one hit.
It didn't take a long time before the hunting began and the dungeon's monsters attacked the exterior monsters.
Jin used the chance to have them kill every monsters to keep them from coming back again for a little bit of time. The high numbers of monsters in the vicinity made it impossible for some normal people to go to the dungeon.
They hunted for close to six hours before they couldn't find any more monsters close to the dungeon. Of course, they didn't kill the ones who were extremely far in the forest but now they needed to do it.
As for the harpies, they had finished cleaning up the sky long ago and they had found some humans spying on them from afar. Well, they didn't really cared and continued to follow the orders to find a monsters nest.
And finally, they found one. They saw a lot of orcs in a mining cave. They stayed back to confirm there was a lot of monsters while another one went to go look for Lilliana who hadn't done anything yet.
After looking for a while, the orcs in the cave seemed to be mining some king of ore, not that it really mattered for them as they only wanted the GP they could give to the dungeon.
Lilliana didn't make them wait before she arrived there in high speed flight. Kaiya, the harpie's leader, pointed out a large cave close to the mountain side and Lilliana made her way there immediately.
While the cave was underground and a dragon's body wouldn't be able to enter, she had a sure way to kill them all extremely fast.
She took a deep breath before looking at the entrance of the cavern and throwing a giant fireball inside that exploded.
When Lilliana had landed in front of the cave, the ground had moved which made the monsters in the cave wary of their surroundings and some went to look outside to only be met with a ball of fire making it's way at high speed towards them. The explosion of the fireball killed a few more orcs while the immense heat made it's way further inside the cave.
To begin with, the orcs didn't like high temperature like the salamanders but now they were forced to participate in food grilling. And, they were the food being grilled. They shouted while trying to get out of the cave and the few of them who made it were dealt with. The claws of Lilliana moved extremely fast instantly killing the monsters.
What would normally be extremely difficult for humans adventurers to deal with was easily accomplished by Lilliana. Well, of course, she was a dragon, completely different.
With the high amount of monsters killed, the GP collected soared extremely fast but they still didn't finished the trial. So, they all left further in the forest to kill more of them.
With half the time taken, they had gained almost everything needed already so there was no need to stress out.
Yeah... the trial is probably a disappointment... sorry about that?
Hope you still liked though, after the trial will br more interesting??
