After a long nap, he was fully refreshed, the waters taking away most of the dirt that has been stuck on him for all this years. He opened his eyes and was met with the sky of a sunset... A beautiful sight which instantly triggered a emotional reactions, tears of happiness pouring down his cheeks without any control whatsoever. Even if he could stand up, he didn't felt the urge of it he simply wanted to stay for a bit, but such a sight was hard to get bored from. It's just something that triggers the most inner part of the soul that keep everyone to it.
The minutes passed, more and more adding up to the number, yet he remained just sitting there. Enjoying what was so beautiful about the backrooms. Even if most of the times there were danger lurking around every corner, when there is none, pure bliss might appeal more to the individual, if it isn't the environment that is trying to kill you. But for him, even if he gave himself more of the wanderer treatment, the odds within the backrooms were still pushing towards his favor.
After that day of mostly exhaustion, he couldn't remember much in details he just fought a dude and then just fell asleep in seconds. This level seemed so familiar, as if he has met this sight before. He still didn't know something... His purpose... This infinitely buzzing question was the one that could drive him into insanity. Or at least, an empty state. Socialization was nice, such is friendships and the only bound he has created, was with the gentleman and maybe that man. He lacked in those he could actually freely talk to his "Family".
He was at peace, but the feeling in his chest was urging him to continue moving, chase the knowledge that would lead to the final answer of that painful question. And finally allow himself to rest... But there was the other factor which pushed him to sit and just exist with a free empty mind while enjoying what was presented to him. It were the voice from others mouths that cured him from this pull towards emptiness. Or just a way to cure it for some time.
"Why can't I just get rid of the question?..." He asked himself as he stood from the wet sands and the waves that now filled his shoes and soaked into his clothes. The thought was annoying, but then the question that he needed showed up. "Why am I getting irritated by this?" He whispered looking at his open hand with a somewhat shocked expression. Then he laughed at it as a way to cover up the inner chaos that was happening within his head. The laugh seemed to fix him as he was left with a small smile before he began walking away.
Perhaps he was asking the wrong questions. Because he was unsure of where he was, as he tried to turn on his phone he was left with just a glitching screen... He turned down the charging slot towards the ground as water began to drip down. Perhaps he could just get another one, or use his powers to spread out and create universal threads to put the components together. It was all just an idea but he didn't believe that he was capable of doing that, which lead to him not even trying. As he simply replaced the phone, he saw that he had no signal. He took a breath and gave a sigh, as he opened a portal to level 0 and stick his hands right through it as he tried to navigate through the wiki. He fell asleep in the frontrooms and now he was here.
When he looked into the frontrooms page, he saw nothing that mentioned any other level except "Yellow" And the blue channel. But he wasn't allowed to look into the blue channel according to the rules of his own game. Perhaps a bit of searching around and asking the people here about where he was. And so he walked up to a group of talking people sitting on the beach and just enjoying. "Hey, do you mind telling me on which level we are?" He said pointing at one of them to which the person looked confused and pointed himself, before getting a nod from the child.
"We are on level 48. It's beautiful, isn't?" The person said looking off into the sunset once he told what he was asked to saw.
"Indeed it is... Appreciated." The said as he walked away and waved the group goodbye...
This social interaction felt nice information came out of it, and so everyone was left happy, even if one acquired it.
But now he felt somewhat hungry, he has stayed for enough time outside the backrooms to activate the human rule of living. And with that, he asked to be put next to a restaurant in level 11, the first level with the recall access by his rules. And he was noclipped and placed right before a restaurant door, which was open for him. He stood up and walked inside which brought him to level 6.1 one he has seen before the rules of the game were established. He was in a room which looked like a restaurant, there were facelings and people, who were. Roleplaying perhaps as waitresses and waiters.
He really didn't need to be treated as a customer, so he walked away from that area looking for a vending machine from which he can get some snacks. Which were a two chips bags, two candy bars because he has actually never tasted something sweet in his life... This life. And a three bottles of almond water, which he will use for later.
He sat down at any table he could find and jumped a bit as the soaked cold clothes stuck up on him. He left a watery mark where he was sitting, but this didn't bother him once he got used to this feeling. After a while of eating and drinking, his needs were once again fulfilled, but which level was this.
He grabbed what was left, a single candy bar, and two almond water bottles. And stood up before trying to walk which lead to his view becoming black to the side. But quickly recovered as he began walking toward the entrance from where he came from. The people there didn't seem to bother talking to him, but just like the other group, he was probably welcome to join in for a conversation.
His rules were limiting to some degree so he can feel what they feel when exploring level after level after level. But with some twists.
He forgot to ask what the level was. So he rushed back in but was met with another random entrance. So he walked over to them and asked "Hello, can you tell me which level this is?" This time he saw them chuckle a bit, over how he didn't know this level. "Are you mocking me?" He asked as his expression turned cold and glitches began to appear around the level, just so he can assert his dominance over their miserable life.
"No, No! I was just~... I remembered a joke!" One of the people tried to excuse themselves, His presence was known, when you can't even trust the ground you are stepping on. "How adorable, so all of you have a single shared brain cell." The child replied a chuckled at the insult he just threw their way. And they weren't telling jokes before he joined in on the conversation. "Now tell me the number of the level!..." He demanded with the same cold tone.
"Yes... uh, level 6.1."
With the information he needed in hand, he could just go without even saying goodbye. Perhaps he can ease their nerves. So he fixed what he had done to the level before smiling at them. "Now that's more like it. Have a great day!" He said as he turned around and walked away. It was like they dodged a bullet that was never meant to hit them. His presence can either be a good thing or a bad thing. depending on which side one is put. Now that he knew the numbers of the levels, he pulled out his new phone, which was his own one but glitched into a new one. He looked for both levels on the wikidot, his old browsing history of the levels he has visited was transferred somehow to this phone. But it didn't matter as he marked level 6.1 and level 48. Which allowed him to connect even more dots in that web that is the backrooms. He read through the wiki pages. And decided to just go back to level 48, it was nice there.
By knowing what he wanted he went to a room filled with sand and laid down before slowly trying to fall back asleep. Even if he was full on energy, he simply needed just a fraction of it so he can go to level 48.
And after a few hours of just waiting, his mind finally turned off as he was sent further into the dry sands of level 48, so the phone doesn't get ruined again.
