Chapter 27: An Half Elf

The python emerged from the water and roared at Eva. It launched tentacles at Eva and Zed. She immediately shot arrows at the tentacles and destroyed them. The python was wounded and hurled its head at Eva and Zed. Eva created a big arrow of light and shot it in the face, scaring it and swimming underwater. Eva said:

"Where is it?"

Eva shot several arrows into the water, the python was hit a few times and scared to swim around in the water. The python quickly recovered from its wounds and emerged stronger. This time it was very angry after Eva attacked many times. The python sprayed acid on Eva and Zed, but she pulled him out of the place to be safe. The acid melted the garbage in an instant. Eva shot multiple arrows repeatedly at the python's left side, injuring it. The moon whipped its tentacles at Eva and Zed and pulled them apart. Eva tried to swim to Zed but was blocked by the tentacle. Eva shot out a big arrow of light that severed the tentacle and caused the python to roar in pain. Eva swam fast and grabbed Zed, she said:

"The Riser! Fight with me."

The Riser was summoned, it swam beside Eva and launched beams of light from its horns at the left side of the python. The python was badly burned and it launched its tentacles at Eva and Zed. The Riser continued to launch beams of light and destroyed many of its tentacles. The python was pushed back and swam back into the water again. Eva puts Zed on The Riser's back and says:

"The Riser, will you try to destroy the wall in front of us?"

The Riser replied:

"Yes! My master."

The Riser shot a beam of light at the wall to destroy the garbage pit. The beam of light destroyed the wall of roots but it immediately recovered. Eva said:

"We have no way to go."

The python emerged and attacked again. Eva said:

"It keeps running and then heals and attacks. If we stay, the situation will get worse."

The python lunged at them. Eva shot the arrow of light and The Riser shot a beam of light at the python, but it ignored all its wounds and continued to charge. Eva said:

"The Riser, run!"

Eva pushed The Riser away and she was grabbed by the python and pulled into the water. Eva held her breath and aimed the arrow into the python's eye. The python struggled in the water, making Eva unable to aim. Eva thought to herself:

"Damn it."

The python emerged with Eva in its mouth. She coughed and said loudly:

"The Riser! Merge into my weapon."

The Riser dropped Zed into a nearby pile of trash and shot a beam of light into the python's jaws, causing it to drop Eva. The Riser jumped far and merged with the Peace bow to create the Euphoria bow (It was a bow with two parts nock were the tail of a unicorn, the bow string turned into an energy bowstring, on the two limp parts were energy lines, a grip guard that protected the hand and had a unicorn horn pointed out). The python swooped down and pulled Eva into its mouth and pulled her into the water. Eva shot beams of light into the python's upper jaw, causing it to release her. Eva held her breath in the water while the python swam around waiting for a chance to attack her. Eva slowly swam up when the python lunged forward and opened its sharp teeth. Eva shot a beam of light into its mouth, sending it away. Eva swam to the surface and said:

"It's coming up again, I have to end it now."

The python emerged and opened its mouth to eat Eva. Eva shot beams of light repeatedly at it, and when the python darted upward, she spread her legs and caught its jaws. Eva drew the bow, the energy lines lit up, released light energy and created a Sunshine Arrow with tremendous heat, Eva said:

"Goodbye."

Eva dropped her bowstring and shot the Sunshine Arrow into its mouth. Sunshine Arrow split the python's body in half and burned its body. The python was killed and its body disintegrated. Eva fell into the water and lay on the water, she said:

"I'm so tired, I shouldn't go to the garbage pit to run away anymore."

Eva sent The Riser back and put the Peace bow back, she swam towards Zed and lay beside him. Eva said tiredly:

"Let's get out of here Zed and find Elastor and Julia too."

Eva then shot an arrow of light into the tunnel overhead, and the arrow's nod turned into an energy rope and fell on them. Eva pulled at the rope and tied him to it. Eva climbed the rope first, when she finished climbing the rope, she shot another light arrow higher in the tunnel and pulled Zed up. She tied Zed to the new rope and kept doing so to get out of it. Eva said while climbing:

"Zed is too heavy."

Returning to Alata, he roamed the castle with Skeletor behind him. The soldiers passing by didn't notice Alata because he used The Ghost cloak to help him invisibility. Alata said:

"So bored, where is everyone? You know Skeletor?"

Alata opened and closed Skeletor's jaw pretending to be saying:

"Go straight, Alata."

Alata replied:

"Correct, awsome Skeletor. You're always right."

Alata was walking when he saw a bunch of monsters near the garbage door that Eva and Zed slid down. The monsters saw Alata and rushed to attack. Alata summons the Horror spear and says:

"There are some games to entertain."

Alata rushed forward and stabbed the first one in the face with a spear, he hit the one next to it. Alata jumped up and threw his spear through the monster behind it, he landed and kicked the shaft of the spear and pushed it down and hit the other's head behind it. Alata pulled out his spear and swung it to slash at another one. The monsters were dealt with, Alata put away his weapon and said:

"Done. Too easy."

Alata heard that the garbage door was being pounded by someone, so he jumped back in surprise. Alata said:

"What's in there?"

Alata opened the garbage door and saw Eva, she said:

"Alata? Hello."

Alata replied:

"Eva, hi."

Alata slowly closed the garbage door when Eva shouted angrily:

"Hey! Can't you see me in here?"

Alata replied:

"Sorry I forgot. Let me help you."

Alata took Eva and said:

"Where is everyone? Why is it only you, Eva?"

Eva replied:

"And Zed, there's a rope tying him down there."

Alata looked at the garbage door and saw Zed, he pulled him up and let him lie on the floor. Eva breathed heavily from fatigue, Alata said:

"Why did you come out of the garbage door? Is there a lot of fun down there?"

Eva replied:

"Uhm, no. Okay you help Zed, let's go find Elastor and Julia too."

Alata said:

"Okay."

Alata carried Zed, Eva looked at the corpses of the monsters and said:

"Hey, did you just kill them?"

Alata replied:

"Yeah, they're nothing compared to my power."

Alata said:

"But they know how to recover."

As she finished speaking, the monsters recovered their wounds and charged at them. Eva and Alata quickly ran away. Alata said:

"Hey, can't you ask why I'm here?"

Eva replied:

"I know you'll be able to get out of the cell, so it's no surprise."

Alata said:

"Hey, I started a riot in that dungeon to get up here."

Eva replied:

"You did a good job."

Eva thought to herself:

"What is Alata's purpose in this story?"

Returning to Elastor, his battle with Grim was still raging. Grim lunged forward and swung his sword at Elastor. Elastor also swung his sword at Grim, but suddenly Elastor's sword slashed through Grim's sword like smoke. Grim slashed Elastor's chest causing him to fall back. Elastor spat out blood and thought to himself:

"Damn it."

Elastor tore a piece of cloth and tied it to his hand so that he could hold onto the Star greatsword. Grim said:

"You can't hold onto your sword anymore. So, continue?"

Elastor looked at Julia, he couldn't take his eyes off her and couldn't leave her. Elastor slowly stood up and said:

"Let's continue."

Elastor and Grim charged and swung their swords at each other. They blocked and pushed each other. Elastor said:

"Why do you want to fight me?"

Grim replied:

"I'm very interested in you. A daredevil who knows he is nothing compared to someone too strong for him. You are brave and come here to confront my father."

Elastor said:

"Well, you're right. But isn't it that simple?"

Grim said:

"You know, a new age is about to begin. The time has come for the throne to be ceded to his successor. But I know one thing, my father would never give it to me because he saw that I was not worthy enough of inheriting the power of the Nightmare Tree. He's shouldered the power on his own and stopped the spread of the Forest of Nightmare for a hundred years. The point is that he kept it alive to secure his power, and I want to destroy it to end this nightmare."

Elastor replied:

"Then I want to help you too."

Elastor parried Grim's sword and swung it at him. Grim stepped back to dodge and said:

"Then prove you can defeat me."

Grim released smoke from his sword at Elastor. Elastor released lightnings back at Grim. Thunder and smoke overwhelmed each other. Elastor raised his sword high and slammed it down to release lightning bolts at Grim. Grim jumped to dodge and released smoke around Elastor. Elastor was surrounded by smoke and not knowing where Grim was, he said:

"Again? Then I need to get out of here quickly."

Grim replied:

"No way. A Thousand Blades, Slash!"

Grim sped through the smoke and slashed at Elastor continuously in all directions. Elastor continuously slashed around but failed. Grim's slashes were quick and sharp, causing Elastor great pain. Grim said:

"Let's see if you can resist my Thousand Blades."

Elastor screamed in pain to Julia's anxiety, she summoned Mega gauntlets and repeatedly punched Grim's smoke to free her, but failed. Julia burst into tears and said:

"Elastor, no!"

On Julia's left shoulder appeared a rose tattoo. Elastor told The Star:

"The Star! Merge into me."

The Star replied:

"Sorry master but I can't do that right now."

Elastor said:

"What? The Star, what are you saying?"

The Star replied:

"A talkative and conceited person like me doesn't like to incorporate into his master, not this time. This is my strongest lightning."

Elastor said:

"No, The Star, what are you saying?"

The Star greatsword exploded and released a huge bolt of lightning in the sky that struck down the castle and blew away Grim's smoke. Grim stepped back and said:

"Damn it, my smoke."

Halazar, Julia and Grim were suddenly surprised by Elastor. Elastor suddenly revealed his Dark Elf's gray skin and said:

"What the hell? My skin?"

But now Elastor was very exhausted, he knelt down and said:

"The Star! What did you just do?"

No one answered, Elastor said:

"The Star? The Star? Answer me, where are you?"

Elastor discovered that The Star had stopped responding to him and that the panther tattoo on his left shoulder was gone. Elastor said:

"What the hell? The Star?"

Elastor stood up and said:

"Damn you idiot The Star, answer me if you're alive."

Elastor walked slowly towards Grim to attack but he was too exhausted. Elastor swung his sword, but the force was too weak for Grim to dodge. Grim said:

"Elastor, your Elemental Spirit..."

Elastor replied:

"Shut up, The Star is just tired."

Suddenly Elastor burst into tears, he said:

"Is that true? The Star was..."

Elastor gripped his sword tighter, he swung his sword quickly at Grim, but he parried the sword. Suddenly Halazar lunged forward and scratched Elastor's eyes. Everything was dark, Elastor screamed and said:

"Damn it! Damn it!"

Julia shouted:

"Elastor, run!"

Elastor was blind and didn't know where he was standing. He swung his sword around but didn't hit anyone. Elastor's skin was back to normal. Halazar said:

"Looks like you're a hybrid between an Elf and a Dark Elf. Or rather the one I've always feared is still alive. Listen, Elastor, I give you three days to recover and come back here. A match to see who is the rightful heir to the throne."

Elastor and Grim were surprised, Grim said:

"What do you mean by that? What is he to have the right to inherit the throne?"

Suddenly the Elf army of Newlaphaine kingdom attacked Lanxter city, they received the location from the lightning of The Star. Elf archers rode on big butterflies and flew into the city through the tunnel. They shot arrows to kill Dark Elf monsters and soldiers. People fled to their homes. But the Dark Elf soldiers resisted equally strongly. A white butterfly rode by the Elf princess Belle Quart flew to the castle. Princess Belle Quart was the princess of the Newlaphaine kingdom, she had long amber hair and starry eyes. Belle was known by many as "The Brightest Star of the Continent". The butterfly flapped its wings and broke the window where Eva, Alata and Zed were running. Eva said:

"What's that?"

The white butterfly used its antennae to grab them and put them on its back. Scared Eva said:

"What is it doing to me? Who are they?"

Belle replied:

"Don't worry princess Eva, I'm Princess Belle Quart of Newlaphaine kingdom. Thanks to lightning as a signal, we came here to save you."

Alata said:

"What? Elf, we're fine Skeletor."

Belle rode a white butterfly to the Throne Room. Halazar looked at the situation outside and said:

"Damn the Elves, I'll deal with them. When I get back I'll explain to you. And Elastor, ask Eculida what happened."

Halazar flew out of the Throne Room, creating a sphere of darkness in his hand and said:

"Suck their souls away."

The Sphere unleashed darkness and created dark whips that captured the Elves. They were drained of their souls and died, their souls being fed to the Nightmare Tree's life. Grim was furious with Elastor, only one day after he lost his future heir to the throne to Elastor, a half-elf and Dark Elf. Grim's eyes filled with anger, he raised his sword and said:

"I'll kill you right away."

Suddenly Julia pulled out rose whips with spikes on them. She swung her whip and made Grim's smoke fade away. Julia sped towards Elastor. Grim swung his sword at Elastor. Julia ran up to Elastor and took the slash to her back. Elastor hugged Julia and said:

"Julia!"

Julia suffered, she said:

"Grim Yus, spare Elastor and I will become your wife."

Grim and Elastor were surprised, Elastor said:

"Julia, what are you saying? We'll get out of here together."

Julia replied:

"I did it to save you. Sorry Elastor."

Grim took Julia's hand and said:

"Just like that, in three days it will be my wedding to her. Go there if you want to see her again."

Elastor took Julia's hand and refused to let her go, he said:

"No, I'm not going anywhere."

Grim released smoke and blew Elastor out the window. Julia said loudly:

"Elastor! No matter how difficult it is, I will wait for you!"

The white butterfly caught Elastor in time and put him on its back. Eva supported Elastor and said:

"Elastor, oh no, your eyes. And where is Julia?"

Elastor replied:

"Take me back, I have to bring her back."

The situation of the Elf army was getting worse, Belle said:

"The situation is getting worse, we have to go now."

Elastor replied angrily:

"No! No! Julia!"

The Elf army retreated to the kingdom. Julia watched Elastor leave, Julia's rose tattoo was gone, she burst into tears and said:

"I don't know when I fell in love with you, Elastor."

Grim looked at Julia and replied:

"You wait until that day. Even if I marry you, I will still be king."

Halazar watched Elastor leave and smiled a devilish smile, he said ghostly:

"Welcome home, my son."
