Chapter 2: Stand Against The Storm

The battle had begun, battleships and ships carrying soldiers were approaching the shore. Suddenly, one by one, the ships that went ahead were blown up. The main zeppelin immediately received a signal below the water, the alchemist immediately put up a hologram below the water and said with surprise:

"Sea mine? Are they that well-prepared?"

The female knight then ordered the battleships:

"Put the prisoners into the water to destroy the sea mines and open the march now!"

The prisoners were released into the water, their hands and feet bound and a propeller attached to their backs. The propeller kicked in and sent the men straight into the mine and exploded. More than thousands of prisoners were given their lives to destroy the mines, it was the insensitivity of this army to waste human lives. Kraton's army moved closer. Immediately the cannons on our side zeppelins immediately opened fire on the enemy. Hundreds of cannonballs flew in, graying the sky with gunpowder smoke. They destroyed dozens of ships, their zeppelins. Our ships turned sideways and fired cannonballs at the ships. The battleships were heavily attacked and exploded. But when a battleship, a ship, a zeppelin was destroyed, there will be two to take its place because of the large number of the Kraton empire. The ships landed on the ground and the soldiers of the empire immediately formed an army to attack our stronghold. They wore light silver armor and were each provided with a sword and a musket. They showed no fear and rushed to attack. They shouted loudly:

"Glory to the Emperor."

When they attacked the beach, they got land mines in the sand and killed hundreds of them. Elastor shouted:

"Fired!"

Arrows were fired into the sky like rain, they fell and killed thousands. The cannons were also fired and destroyed the enemy's marching path. The catapults were fired and destroyed many ships that had not yet reached land. Eva watched from above, she summoned Euphoria bow and raised it high, she created an arrow of light and drew back the bowstring. Eva said aloud:

"Sunshine Arrow!"

Eva shot the Sunshine arrow into the sky, instantly thousands of arrows of light rained down and killed the enemies below. The enemy approached the hole in the rampart, and Julia and the infantry went there to hold them back. Julia immediately summoned Rosing gauntlets and swung thorny vines whips at the enemy. She then approached the hole and shot thorns around repelling enemies. The enemy fired muskets at the soldiers on the ramparts, many were hit and killed, the wounded were dragged away for treatment. Elastor waved the yellow flag forward, the gunners on the ramparts immediately opened fire and killed more. They brought out iron ladders and climbed up the ramparts to confront our army. On Lamalia's side, she summoned stone stakes that emerged from the sand to stab the enemy to death. Lamalia gathered a lot of power and launched a giant stone stake from afar and destroyed an entire battleship. Alata swung his spear and sent three tornadoes onto the sand and swept away many enemies. The Sandx kingdom enemy suffered the most damage. On Grim and Belle's side, Grim had already abandoned the ramparts and rushed to fight the enemy directly. He and The Predator were having a fun murder party. Belle just sighed wearily and and the witches shot fireballs from afar to burn the ships. The Alchemist put on the main screen the images of Crusadia team, she said:

"Them, they are probably the best warriors here."

The big guy replied:

"What is their elemental energy?"

She put on the screen the predicted number of each member. From strongest to weakest are: Eva-nine, Elastor-eight, Belle-eight, Lamalia-eight, Alata-seven, Grim-six and Julia-five. The big guy laughed and said with sarcasm:

"Is that all? They're not as good as us. When are we going to be on the battlefield?"

The black armored knight replied slowly:

"Patience, we haven't brought everything up yet."

The ships kept brought troops to the shore non-stop, although we could continue to fight back but their numbers were too many. Enemy zeppelins moved inland and fired bullets and cannonballs down the ramparts below to attack us. Elastor became enraged and transformed into Thunder Elf form. He leapt into the sky and dashed through a zeppelin and destroyed it. He unleashed a lot of lightning and shot lightning around destroying their airbags and dropping their hulls. Ballista harpoon launchers fired hooks at the zeppelins and pulled them down so the archers fired fire arrows to set them on fire. Our zeppelins also fired their cannons and killed more. Elastor launched to the ground and released electricity around to kill more people. Seeing Elastor's lightning, he became angry and entered a race to see who killed more. Grim changed into half hyena form and released smoke around him, he quickly unleashed slashes and killed many. When we were defending very well, the enemy now brought out their stronger weapons. The battleships opened their compartments, and the dragons immediately flew out and rushed into the battlefield. Elastor looked at the dragons and said:

The archers shot arrows and them but their skin was too thick to do any damage. The dragons caught the rocks and threw them at the infantry and destroyed the catapults and ballista harpoon launchers. Our zeppelins rushed to fire their cannons at the dragons but only managed to kill a few before they were flown by many behind and destroyed many. Our air force was under heavy attack. The dragons crashed into the infantry and killed many of our soldiers. The battlefield was gradually changing direction with the Kraton empire gradually dominating in both numbers and tactics. Elastor immediately summoned the Star greatsword and swung his sword at the dragon that was biting him and its rider. Elastor immediately flew back to the ongoing battlefield. The battleships fired their cannons continuously and broke many holes in the ramparts. After Lamalia destroyed another battleship, she saw that the ramparts were severely damaged and enemy soldiers were flooding through. Infantry on both sides rushed to fight fiercely with each other. We built a shield wall and moved forward to repel the enemy. They fired muskets but couldn't penetrate our sturdy iron shields. Then our troops threw their spears away and killed many enemies. But suddenly the dragons attacked the shield wall and broke through our defenses. The enemy took the opportunity to rush forward and attack our troops. They were very ferocious and slaughtered everyone they saw. Even though they had been stabbed, lost their arms and legs, they were even more ferocious and rushed to attack. We tried to hold back, the two sides pushed each other hard to win back every inch of land. Lamia thought to herself:

"I have to build a stone wall now."

Just as Lamalia was about to punch the ground to build a stone wall to fill the holes in the rampart, a dragon came out of nowhere and launched a fireball near her. Lamalia was knocked down the rampart and stunned. The soldiers rushed forward and surrounded her to protect her. The female gunner looked at the scene of the killing and said:

At this time, our army brought out the newest warriors. Belle rode her white butterfly Annabelle and went to war with a large swarm of white butterflies. On its back were hundreds of Dragoon warriors of the Elves and Dark Elves. They were dragon-slayer warriors who had been trained strictly according to Urizen's instructions. The Dragoon warriors wore light armor and carried spears made of the light but sharp metal of the dwarves. They learned flying magic so they could attack quickly in the sky. Belle shouted:

"Dragoon! Fight!"

The Dragoon warriors obeyed the order and dropped into the sky. They plunged down the backs of the dragons and stabbed them with spears to kill them. They then flew over the aerial battlefield and slayed many dragons, giving us our air advantage. The giant white butterflies also fired light beams on their foreheads and burned the skins of the dragons so that the archers could kill them. We vigorously advanced and pushed the enemy out of the shield wall and pushed them out of the wall. The Alchemist looked at the Dragoon warriors and said with anger:

"Have we underestimated them too much? They have trained Dragoon warriors to take on dragons."

The big guy replied:

"I don't know but we need to go to war, this kingdom is not normal at all."

At this moment the black knight stood up and said calmly:

"Okay then, let's send the generals to battle first. We still need to know more about the opponents we're going to face. If we don't know anything when we go to battle, this will be to our disadvantage."

When we were still fighting back and had repelled the enemy for a while, warriors on the zeppelins jumped out and plunged into the battlefield. They jumped into the city so some troops entered the city to capture them. Elastor, Grim, and Julia noticed the intruders so they immediately moved into the city to check on the situation. Alata was still fighting very strongly against the enemy army. He summoned the wind drill and launched it at the enemy, they were flying everywhere and the drill destroyed the battleships, they pushed each other away and messed up their formation. Then another wind drill was added to the zeppelins and they were swept around, one pushing the other, causing them heavy damage. But Alata was too tired from his strongest attacks. Alata stuck his spear down to keep him up, he was sweating profusely. But seeing the enemy still advancing further, he remembered Sansa and the children as he raised his spear and said:

"Come here you bastards!"

Suddenly three people suddenly appeared and surrounded Alata, he said with surprise:

"Since when did they appear?"

Lamalia stood up from the stun, she put on heavy rhino armor and said:

"I can kill more."

Suddenly the soldiers protecting Lamalia were killed by the feathers, she looked up at the rampart to see three men looking at her. Lamalia rubbed her lips and excitedly said:

"Ha, it seems that there are still many people who want to give their lives to me."

Belle was fighting the dragons with Annabelle. Suddenly a green beam shot at the white butterfly's body, it hissed in pain and Belle said in fear:

"Annabelle, no!"

Annabelle wobbled in the air and crashed into the city of Newlaphaine and destroyed many houses. Belle was still alive after the fall, she rushed to check on Annabelle right away. Seeing the severe burn wound of her butterfly, Belle rushed to use the Athena wand to heal the wound. Belle said:

"Hold on a little bit Annabelle, it'll be okay... Annabelle? Annabelle? No!"

The butterfly Annabelle had stopped breathing, Eva burst into tears and put her hand over its wound and said sadly:

"I'm sorry, Annabelle. I tried."

Suddenly three alchemists appeared behind Belle, who immediately stood up and said with hatred:

"Who killed it?"

Returning to Elastor, Grim and Julia, they entered the city and discovered that many soldiers had been killed by nine different people. They faced three people. Elastor looked at the dire scene and spoke with disgust at his enemies:

"Who are you filthy people?"

Julia took the offensive and said with confusion:

"You guys... are not normal..."

Grim raised his sword and excitedly said:

"I don't care who you are, as long as you are an enemy I will kill them all."

Two men came to the front of the castle, but Exos was already there waiting. Eva used telepathy to communicate with Exos:

"Exos, can you handle them?"

Exos replied:

"Nothing, they're nothing compared to our strength yet."

Eva nodded and continued firing Sunshine arrows to destroy enemy ships and zeppelins. She then threw the red flag on the rampart, which was the signal to attack. Our soldiers immediately flooded the beach and fought them out there. The cavalry galloped forward to destroy the few that had not been repelled. Then they joined us with the infantry to fight to push the enemy away from the beach. Those who were about to confront Crusadia said proudly:

"We are the strongest generals of the Grand Generals!"

The battle had only just begun, but the difficulty was still too much.
