The Dragon Queen and Her Master

Rebecca's life is completely changed when she is taken to Xilentia: a magic school situated in one of the five realms of the Otherworld. A parallel world to Earth in which mystical creatures and superpowers are commonplace. However, her fate is revealed when the evilest and powerful dragon picks her, such a thing happened only once every thousand years but Pagos never made mistakes and always chooses the person who was evil enough to destroy the whole universe and strong enough to take over humanity. Was that a sign her true nature was villainous? Will she succeed in being the first good ruler of the universe or will she let her evil nature take over to begin massive destruction? As If life wasn’t already hard enough she soon ends up falling in love with the last person she should fall in love with. Abstract quote: "When they stop loving you where does that love goes? Can It be found again?" "No, dear. It can't. It just melts like snow on sidewalks. Leaving nothing but the memory of what once was a stunning picture to praise." Abstract: “So this is it? You will not even let me try to make things right? You just cut me off as if the kiss meant nothing?” She bawled. “I am sorry, Rebecca. There are rules that must be followed and we’re not made to be together. This is the law and how it’s supposed to be. Do you know what could happen if we let our love bloom?” “What could happen?” She took a step forward and with a broken voice and eyes filled of tears she whispered, “the only thing I see happening is US. Finally happy, finally together. This is what I want. You and me.” He sighed, as he took a step towards her as well, reducing the distance between them. His warm hand touched her cold cheek and she gently leaned upon it. “I want that too. More than anything in the entire universe. But if the magic world will know about us, it will cause so much trouble and an inevitable downfall of the school’s reputation. Moreover, the council will haunt me.” “It’s not about that Andreas. It’s about whether you think our love is worth fighting for or not. I’ll let you choose. Because I already know my answer.” [The cover belongs to the respective owner.]

"Uhm, hello professor, I noticed this girl Is a bit drunk so I offered her to take her home."

Rebecca could read his anger on all his face, he was about to explode of anger. And suddenly, She didn't mind trying ro male him jealous a bit.

"Such a nice guy. Thank you."

"Irs Always a pleasuee to help lost girls. You are too pretty for you to end in cattive mani."

"That's why She Is coming home with me. Thanks for the concern."

He frowned and opened his mouth to speak but just a glower from Andreas was enough to make him reconsider.

He took her abruptly by his arm and pulled her far from the ceowd.

"So you must think I am stupid to.fall for that magic trick?" Andreas asked glaring at Rebecca.

Becca o walked reaching the sofa where Karen was widening her eyes at the sight of Andreas.

" stop." He raises his voice making her turn around and stop her walking.

"I just wanted to come and have fun. Do I have to ask you permission for that?" She blurted moving her hands nervously.

"You do if you're under my responsibility." He said without hesitation. He took the now empty glassa from her hands and put it on a table.

"Drunk flirting with a random boy? Were you really going to go at his place??" He raised an eyebrow folding his arms.

"I am not drunk." Roselyn rolled her eyes.

Karen walked toward them hastilg "It's my fault, I asked her to come here." Karen came to her rescue.

"I don't think she needs to be convinced to make bad choices, Karen." He was having that cold severe attitude that she hated so much.

To her, he had no right to make scenes, she wasn't doing anything bad.

"Can you stop insinuating? Judging me when you don't even know me?" The girl raises her voice making a few guys turn around and stare at her.

"I am not insinuating. I know for sure. In our offices, we have dossiers about students and their lives, and yours is full of bad behaviors."

"This is insane and should be a privacy invasion!" She yelled in anger.

"Poor girl! Privacy invasion." He joked but by doing it, he drove her even angrier.

"You're a fucking asshole. I hate you so much!" She pushed him strongly as she walked away.

Karen, who didn't know what to say nor how to help her, followed her trying to walk as fast as She could to keep up with her peace.

When they got out of the house, the enchntree screamed releasing all her anger.

"I hate him!" She blurted out.

"He becomes an asshole when he sees students or people he cares about partying, drinking, or even smoking," Karen said checking where he was.

"He's coming." She whispered when he found him.

Rose snorted as soon as he reached them.

"Can we go home now?" He asked with an annoyed tone of voice.

She nodded no then she stated "if you've read the dossier well enough you should know that I never leave a party before 2 am. So YOU can go."

Karen smirked off her face, receiving an angry gaze from Andreas.

"Stop acting childish now." He said, moving his gaze toward Rose.

"Karen you should go home too." he then said causing Karen to roll her eyes.

Before they coul complain, he murmursd Latin words and they returned to Andreas' house.

"You've some serious issue about controlling everything. You should get checked out." She commented angrily.

"Rebecca, don't provoke me I'm already disappointed enough. Go to sleep." He said turning his back.

"Disappointed? For having gone to a fucking party?" She asked rolling her eyes.

Andreas ignord her and walked to his room.

The poor girl laid on her bed looking up at the ceiling with a resigned look on her face. She missed her family, her friends, and the routine she had. In that school, it was all so different and Andreas was so weird, his way of switching between good and bad attitjde was driving her crazy.

She was already stressed enough for her mother and learning how to control her powers, she didn't need other people bothering her.

The next morning Andreas cooked some pancakes for breakfast.

When Rose walked into the kitchen, he nodded lightly to say hi and then he sat down eating.

Roselyn was still sleepy, she poured some coffee into her cup and after taking some sips, she finally spoks "good morning."

He lifts his head to give her a glimpse and then keeps eating quietly.

Roselyn sneered in annoyance.

"That's good. You're a good cooker." She commented, finishing her meal.

"Thanks." He replied with a cold tone, putting places in the dishwasher.

Roselyn rolled her eyes and starts to walk toward her room when he calles her "Roselyn. As I promised you last night I'll try to make you meet your mother. You have the day off today so you can go to every party you want to go to, and do whatever you want to do. That won't affect the promise I made." He said avoiding her gaze and keeps looking down at the dishes.

Roselyn smiled, approaching him. "Are you sure?" She askwd suddenly feeling guilty for the argument they had the previous night. It was kind and mature of him to say that, he could have just seized the opportunity to avoid taking such a big risk.

"It's fine." He says sounding distant.

"It's not fine if you're mad at me."

He finishes putting dishes in the dishwasher and finally looks at her in the eye.

"I overreacted too. I didn't have to make you feel bad about your past or for having gone to a party."

She lookes at him surprised, that was not the answer she was expecting, nevertheless, she was highly doubting he was being sincere.

"Why did you act that way though?" .

"Because as I said before, I hate when people lie to me." He said looking away like if he was omitting part of the truth.

.

"I'm sorry too, I overreacted but you have to understand that I'm still in shock for all those things happening to me."

"I understand." He said, genuinely smiling.

They both remaines silent for a few seconds when Andreas's phone startes ringing.

As soon as he picked up the phone, on his face appeared an expression of shock as he widened his eyes and mouth. He took a long breath and then spoke "Hello Angelina. It's Andreas."

Rebecca, hearing her mother's name, put her hands over her mouth, she stood paralyzed gormlessly unable to say anything. Millions of doubts pervaded in her. But Joy was quenchless.

What if her mother didn't want to meet her? What if she will eventually find out that she's a bad person?

Fear creeps in as she started to shake.

Andreas nodded at his phone gazing at Rebecca .
