Chapter 39 Elf Advisor killing

Hearing Drake's proposal, the women talk it over. They all agreed on the deal. Nightingale being the first said, "Everyone we will be killing the Elf Advisor tonight. Make sure everything is on point."

The mermaid being the second, "I do not think we can kill him tonight but we can at least figure out where he will be for tomorrow."

Three of the four agreed with the mermaid expect for the dragon girl. She agreed with Nightingale.

"4-2 split huh?" Nightingale said.

When there is a split they then have to ask their employer(s) how quickly they want the person dead.

Drake answered, "As long has it is before Aura's date to choose. I do not care. If you fail then I will have to in front of everyone. Understood?"

The women nodded. They did not want to see a man whom Nightingale accepted to kill someone in front of them.

"I will visit the King. Beast girl you will follow me and head down some stairs. I do not know if he will be there but he had a laboratory under the community." Nightingale said.

The one who Nightingale mentioned had a hood over her head. She nodded that she understood.

"Dragon girl you will follow me and wait outside the door. While I am talking to the King. I will confirm the names that need to be investigated. You will head to the library where everyone else will be. Once there use all means to figure out the people." Nightingale finished.

Once they understood what the deal was. The mermaid lead the others to the library. While the Beast Girl and Dragon Girl headed with Nightingale.

Upon nearing the hallway that leads to the stairway, Avery passed the assassins. Nightingale did take notice and did not alarm him of the coming doom.

After passing the corner, Avery speed up to hurry somewhere.

Nightingale stopped and told the girls with her, "Beast Girl follow that guy he is the one who we need to kill. Dragon Girl we are changing plans. I need you to copy his face on a paper. So I can ask the King what his name is."

The girls did has told they went out. Nightingale then hurried to the King.

The mermaid and her group arrived at the library. There was a few elves in there. The most curious one was one that just entered that looked rushed. Like he was trying to find out about someone. One of girls quietly followed him.

The mermaid girl and the other waited for news.

Nightingale and Dragon Girl made it to the King's Throne Room.

Nightingale and the Dragon Girl both entered. Seeing them enter the King was shocked that two assassins entered the chamber.

"Nightingale can I ask why there are two assassins in my throne room?" The King asked.

"There is a man threatening the lives of all the elves here. He has a connection to this man," Nightingale handed the picture to the Dragon Girl, "Please tell me his name your majesty." Nightingale bowed.

"Avery? Why would he threaten the lives of the elves for? He is a genius he made a laboratory so he could learn about different bodies. So that medicine can make a huge process." The King declared.

"He did have a laboratory you are correct. He no longer does now." Nightingale responded.

"Why does he not have it now Nightingale?" The King demanded.

"The person who wants him dead came from the future. He saw how the elves were." Nightingale replied.

"I see. Why do you believe him?" The King asked.

"Because he is trying to protect your daughter." Nightingale said.

Hearing that his daughter was in danger. He immediately wanted to know what happened. To cause such a thing.

Nightingale did not want to answer but she said, "The man with your daughter now is trying to protect her. Making sure that nothing happens between now and her choosing date. He said that if we assassins do not get the job done. He will make sure he is dead there." Nightingale said with extreme anger.

Hearing that the King declared, "Do not touch him until I talk with him. If he threatens me. Kill him. If he does not then do it elsewhere."

Nightingale nodded and asked, "Where is his main bedroom?"

"He does not have a set room. He was unlucky and did not get a room." The guard replied.

"Thank you both." Nightingale and the Dragon Girl went.

"Damnit I hope Beast Girl has not had a chance to kill him." The Dragon Girl said.

"We can and cannot allow him to live. Regardless if he does before he meets the King or not." Nightingale said.

"What do you mean?" The Dragon Girl asked.

"If he meets the King before we have a chance to kill him. So be it. If we kill him before, we have to get Drake before the King." Nightingale replied.

The Dragon Girl understood and went to the library.

Nightingale went back to the room.

Upon nearing the library, the Dragon Girl told the Beast Girl, "Stand down own the room."

The Beast Girl nodded and went with her. They entered and found two of the three girls.

The Dragon Girl whispered to the Mermaid Girl, "Stand down own the room."

Immediately she went to grab the other girl and the others went first.

Upon finding the other girl, the mermaid girl noticed Avery talking to her.

"I need your help. I need this boy killed immediately, daughter."

"I'm sorry but I'm not your daughter."

"Do not worry. You will be soon enough."

The mermaid girl saw a knife being thrusted into the girl and she went stopped the blade.

This surprised Avery he could not move. While the mermaid girl held his hands.

"Go outside I will talk with you." The mermaid girl told the other.

She nodded and left.

"Why can't I move Bitch?" Avery was upset.

The mermaid girl threw him into a bookshelf.

"HELP THIS MAN JUST TRIED TO HURT ME!!!!" The mermaid girl shouted and several elves went. They grabbed Avery immediately dragged him to the King.

"LET ME GO! I AM THE FUTURE ELF ADVISOR I CANNOT BE TREATED LIKE THIS!" Avery shouted has he was dragged out of the library.

The other girl was told to enter the bedroom and explain what has happened.

The mermaid girl would walk behind the Avery. So if he tries anything. She would kill him on the spot.

The other girl ran until she arrived at the bedroom. She then told everyone what had happened.

The only ones not in the bedroom was Alma and the mermaid girl.

Hearing this the others dashed to the throne room. She stayed behind. She needed to talk with Drake.

She asked, "Drake that man asked me to kill you. Why would he want you dead?"

Drake then knows someone else besides Avery is calling the shots but it was just a guess at first.

"I destroyed his laboratory." Drake made it simple.

"I see." Upon hearing that something made her body move she could not control it.

Drake smiled and overpowered her. Seeing this was actually funny for Aura. However for May she was upset that her son had gotten targeted.

Aura and May went and got rope tried her up. They carried her to the throne room.

Shortly after entering the throne room. The King saw others bringing him in. An assassin was behind them coming in.

"Can someone explain to me why you dragged the Future Elf Advisor in my throne room?" The King demanded.

"He tried to harm that lady behind us. She got lucky and knocked him into the bookshelf." A man replied.

"I see." The King glanced at the guard.

"What is your name for the record?" The guard asked.

"Avery." Avery responded.

"Okay. Avery what made you attack that woman?" The guard asked.

Immediately after Drake rushed into the throne room. Aura and May were a little bit behind him.

"Your Majesty. This man has infected people to kill your daughter." Drake shouted.

Hearing this Avery turns around and sees Drake. He knew something was up but not what.

"What do you mean boy?" The King got mad.

"Aura said something about a laboratory being destroyed and she tried to attack Aura." Drake said with the girl being brought in by Aura and May.

"So who stopped her from harming my daughter?" The King was curious.

"I did. Your Majesty." Drake said looking him straight in the eye.

"Boy grab the elf binded up. Thank you all for dragging him here." The King said.

The other elves bowed and left. Once everyone left Drake released Avery. This surprised most of them.

"I am Drake. The brother to Hero Unknown." Drake said.

Avery then lost the will to live at that moment. Although Drake had already told the others the truth. He did not want everyone to know.

Drake went over to the girl who tried to harm him. Drake used his mana to force out a bug from the girl.

"This is actually from the Great Spider." Drake announced.

"How do you know that BRAT? No one else has been close to her in ages. Much less a BRAT like you." Avery blurted not realizing what he actually said until it was over.

This scared Avery he knew everything had just screwed everything up. He could not do much more.

"AVERY HOW MUCH HAVE YOU LIED TO ME OVER THE YEARS!?!?!?" The King was extremely mad.

"Nothing has been a lie. You have been given the information from 'That' person." Avery started laughing.

Suddenly Avery stopped feeling dread coming from behind him. Avery turned and saw Drake twitching.

Aura, May and Nightingale all tried moving closer to Drake. They could not hardly move.

"Who is 'That' person?" Drake asked.

"I cannot tell you." Avery was scared silly when he heard Drake.

"I see. This bug might help me I guess." Drake said with an evil smile.

Drake forced his mana into the bug it could not keep up with Drake's mana and blew up. Drake was upset.

Avery knew that it took a massive amount of mana to forge one much less try and force your mana into it.

"Well so much for that plan." Drake sighed.

"Master who is 'That' person?" Nightingale asked.

Avery and the King were surprised that Nightingale found someone to accept her.

"I do not know however I will bring his FUCKING HEAD DOWN." Drake has been completely upset about 'That' person.

"I see. So you are going to be his enemy?" Avery had a smile on his face. "Master I promised not to talk but he wants to be your enemy. May I have the privilege of becoming your personal servant for a couple of minutes?" Avery looked extremely crazy while saying this.

Drake went kicked him. "I do not care if he can possess you. I will let him see what happens to your body." Drake immediately went and completely destroyed Avery.

Avery barely could say anything before Drake started his next assault.

Seeing how quickly and brutally Avery was beaten. Everyone became afraid of testing Drake.

"I see. You are truly worthy of being Hero Unknown's brother Drake. Since I cannot see where the two of you are from." A voice said in the room.

"I take it you are 'That' person?" Drake asked.

"Indeed I am 'That' man." The voice responded.

This made Drake think back to the previous god of Death and Destruction saying 'That' man.

"Are you familiar with a woman has a god of Death and Destruction?" Drake asked.

"Yes I am. Why do you speak of such?" The voice replied.

Drake released Holy and Dark Magic and Life and Destruction Energy.

"YOU ARE A god OF BALANCE!!!!!" The voice screamed and it shook the planet.

Drake started laughing and used his mana to shake the planet.

After a bit, Drake went over Avery and punched him into oblivion.

Everyone stared at where Avery was. Everyone rubbed their eyes, punched themselves, and doubled checked where Avery was. Everyone again saw nothing left.

Drake declared, "I am Drake. Hero Unknown's brother and future god of Balance."
