Chapter 157 Meeting the Serpent King

A flash of light appears then the three appear on a boat in the middle of the sea. Looking at a mounted scope, Drake decides to look ahead.

Seeing the island they were in earlier. Drake felt a sense of security. Feeling something good should be on this floor.

Drake spoke up, "Far ahead is the island we were on earlier. Something good should be on this floor."

Ariel looked at Drake and felt a sense of change. Something that she did not like but she could not tell why he had changed so suddenly on this floor.

"Maybe a copycat?" Ariel thought.

Looking deeply into Drake's eyes Ariel saw that the Drake they were talking to was not truly Drake but he had everything that seemed to be Drake.

"Not good." Ariel thought.

Drake there just stood there wondering what was going on. He knew Ariel would make sure he was the right one but this felt different.

"I wonder what is going on." Drake thought.

Drake's vision turns black. Even though he could see in the dark, this was something much worse than what he had imagined.

Two glowing yellow eyes that were serpentine appeared before Drake. Drake's sense of security skyrocketed. Looking at the eyes, Drake began to feel that this creature belonged to him.

"You have come back. After such a long time, I began to waiver, in the thought of never seeing you again." The creature spoke.

"I do not remember you. I do have a sense of security because of you. May I know your name?" Drake spoke.

"I am Serpent King." The Serpent King spoke.

Drake then felt the water around him. The. knowing he was under the sea and not on the boat. Drake felt lost. He did not want Ariel or the priestess to get hurt but Drake also felt that they were secure from all danger.

"Your feelings are what I have done creator." The Serpent King spoke.

Not even realizing that the Serpent King spoke. Drake felt a slight nudge to wake him from his thoughts.

"Follow me." The Serpent King spoke.

The two swam not knowing for how long until a light appeared Drake saw they had entered a cave. Looking around there was a pedestal with a singular book on it. Drake got out of the water and once he had taken three steps before he could even use magic, he was dry. Drake looked around again and saw three pairs of eyes. Going to the first closest pair of eyes, the wall began to crumble and a demon's face was revealed.

On the demon's forehead was written, "King Asura's third apprentice."

Drake went to the second closest eyes and the wall crumbled another demon's face was revealed and on its head was written, "King Asura's second apprentice."

Drake had a feeling that the last pair of eyes was the first apprentice and decided not to go to them. Drake tried going to the pedestal however he could only get one step away. No matter how much he tried and how much force he used. He could not get any closer.

Finally Drake decided to go to the last pair of eyes. Upon doing so, the wall crumbled and Drake realized the demon's head was King Asura.

"Where is the first apprentice?" Drake said out loud.

"Creator look inside the book." The Serpent King spoke.

Drake instantly went back over there and opened the book.

A tale of Drake going up against King Asura and the two apprentices were shown. The two apprentices were no match for Drake. They kept getting in his way on the island. Drake then cut off their heads and gave them to a small water snake.

Seeing both of his apprentices die. King Asura gave an evil smile and declared, "My kind will survive this ordeal and become stronger."

The evil smile turned into a great disaster on the island. The volcano appeared and erupted behind him. That was how the two started their fight.

The book closed on itself. Then Drake heard a Ding and a blue screen appeared before him.

"Congratulations for finding a book about yourself in the Labyrinth of the Beastman territory."

"Rewards: Increase in god energy

Increase in your feelings

Increase in your wives' feelings"

Drake saw the notification and could feel the increase in god energy and once he felt it. The feelings towards his wives and the priestess increased dramatically. Drake felt the urge to destroy everything so much that he tried to lift the book but nothing was happening.

The Serpent King noticed the increase in god energy and knew that would happen. He waited for Drake to calm down however waiting nearly an entire day. The Serpent King got tired of waiting.

"Drake it is time to return to the boat." The Serpent King spoke.

Drake turned around and saw the Serpent King just waiting for him to calm down. Drake looked at the book again and felt a sense of wanting. He needed his wife and the priestess there.

"Can they come here?" Drake asked.

"Only if the entrance is recovered." The Serpent King spoke.

"Where is the entrance supposed to be?"

"Feel for it because I do not know. There is a paper over there with something written on it."

Drake went over to where the Serpent King was looking at and Drake saw the paper.

It looked like a hand drawn map and where the paper was, the entrance was supposed to be there.

Drake slapped the wall and nothing happened. Drake stomped on the floor and nothing happened. Drake decided to punch the wall. Once Drake did the increase in god energy surged through the entire floor.

Ariel and the priestess both felt god energy under them. Then a mysterious crack appeared under both of them and they got sent to the cavern.

Looking forward, the women see the Serpent King. The priestess shouted. Drake casually walked over while the Serpent King moved to allow Drake to see his women.
