His fingers, firm but teasing, gripped her waist, pulling her against his body. “Do you know what happens to those who defy me, little pet?” His voice was low, dripping with dark amusement. He leaned down, his lips hovering just above hers, close enough for her to feel his breath but not close enough to touch. “They beg.”Elysia’s pulse quickened, her breath catching as her body betrayed the fear melting into something far more dangerous. Her lips parted, but no words came out. "You're mine, Elysia, I will burn the world for you." She heard him say in a low growl, making her legs tremble more.

"Thank you, Miss Rebecca. It has been a long time." Elysia replied, her smile remaining on her face.

"Very well, Lady Elysia, if you must know. I am also an orphan, my parents died a long time ago when I was a child." Rebecca stated.

"Oh, I am sorry about that." Elysia replied, feeling sorry for the woman.

Rebecca chuckled, waving her hand. "Thank you, My Lady, it has been so long, that I cannot  recall how they looked." Rebecca joked.

Elysia continued to smile. "I guess we are both alike, completely alone in this world." She said.

Rebecca's eyes softened. "I believe so, at least we have each other. I will always be here for you if you ever need me."

The governess words warmed Elysia's heart. "Thank you, Miss Rebecca." She said, keeping her voice soft.
