Giving Her a Surprise
After an hour, the flight landed in L City.
Su Ruan sat in the lounge as Long Fei went to make a call. Although Long Fei had assured her that everything would be alright, Su Ruan was unable to be at ease.
She could not help but imagine several scenes of her first meeting with Long Fei's mother. The feeling was too overwhelming. She was never this anxious even when she had to attend some interview.
Her hands were gripping the hem of her blouse tightly. Su Ruan took a few deep breaths as she tried to calm down. She looked around and saw that Long Fei was making a call at the corner.
From the distance, she could see the frown on his face.
Su Ruan did not know what was the call about, but she could tell that it should be something serious. The call ended and the man walked over to her side. The couple walked to the arrival hall and finally left the airport in a taxi.
