"Ahem. Yes, Your Highness," the teacher coughed awkwardly. He adjusted his glasses before refocusing his attention to give a more thorough explanation to the Princess.
Not even five minutes had passed when Suri felt Maxieno's feet bump into hers. She turned to the man, and Maxieno only raised his eyebrows without giving any noticeable response. He pretended to focus on the book in front of him. Unbeknownst to her, an amused smile etched on his lips. Even little things like this could make him excited.
"Teacher, I have another question," Suri redirected her attention, making the man in front of him stop talking and adjust the position of his glasses.
Maxieno deliberately stepped on the girl's feet again, and Suri quickly pulled her legs away. She glared at Maxieno, not liking the man's rude attitude. Yet, Maxieno shamelessly nodded his head, pretending to understand the bespectacled man's explanation, even though he honestly didn't understand anything.
