The Doom Slayer in a Different Universe

A/N: This is the rewrite version of my fanfic, there are three main reasons that I want to say about why I decided to rewrite this fanfic before I speak about before I will talk about the disclaimer.

1) my writing style has greatly changed.

2) in my opinion it would be greatly better if I rewrite this fanfic

3) the writing in the fanfic was stale

There is something that I can promise; there is a guarantee taht there will be no chapters under a thousand words.

now DISCLAIMER; I do not know EVERYTHING about both franchises, I was born in '05 don't expect me to know everything about RWBY or DOOM. If something is wrong correct me, it greatly pisses me off if something is wrong and I went off of it and being corrected and it's too late, so please correct me if I'm wrong about something.

Now onto the... Rewritten first chapter!!

"Now is the time. Two Titans meet -as it was written." Samuel said this as the Icon of Sin slammed its hands on the floor of the building that the Doom Slayer is on in rage.

*ROAR*

The echoing roar of the Icon of Sin sounded like a scream of pain and was crying out for its mother instead of a rage and terrifying roar.

The Doom Sayer readied his super-shotgun and backer away as the Icon of Sin's fist came barreling towards him but at the last second the Slayer dashed to the left narrowly avoiding the gigantic fist. The Doom Slayer shot through a Pain Elemental making it flop down as he jumped on it and used his gauntlet blade to impale a pitiful demon fodder. Fucking mortality challenge his ass, bringing out his chaingun he started to shoot at the Icon of Sin. One by one the demons that the Icon of Sin summons fall.

<After an unknown amount of time>

The Icon of Sin seemed to stagger as all of its flesh, organs, and bones were exposed; when organs and bone are exposed you know that that person - or thing in this case - is in pain. As the Doom Slayer walked upon its fingers stepping on its exposed bone in the process and jumped with his sword pointed downward aimed at the Icon of Sin's exposed brain.

*shlugsh*

This was the sound that the Doom Slayer was greeted with as his sword made impact with the brain of the Icon of Sin; and with all of his force ripped the hilt out of the sword as the Icon of Sin was standing up, the Doom Slayer understood that now it's time to GTFO (Get-The-Fuck-Out) as he jumped back down unto the building.

An explosion followed the Crucible's blade as waves of blue energy envoloped the Icon of Sin as it roared in pain and rage as the Icon of Sin fell down; right in front of the Doom Slayer comically and epically. The Icon of Sin slid down the building which made a groaning nose then fell down into the depths below, the Doom Slayer looked down over the edge and after a few seconds he came to the conclusion that the Icon of Sin is dead and walked away.

"...and you will be their savior, your strength their shield and your will...their sword. You remain broken...for your fight...is eternal" King Novik said this however only the Slayer was able to hear his voice.

The Doom Slayer arrived at the Fortress of Doom and with a bit of happiness in his step he pressed the ARC Resistance Network.

"This is the Resistance Network, in what hopefully will be our final broadcast. To all of Earth - and anyone that may be listening - the demonic horde has been defeated. The beast identified by ARC scientist as the Icon of Sin, was destroyed today by the Slayer himself. And with it the majority of the demonic force has dispersed. With the threat decreased." The ARC said this as the Slayer is listening.

The ARC continued its broadcast "It is important now more than ever, that we come together. there is hope - the human race will persevere. Many of the survivors believe the Slayer to be a god-like figure in what was a battle between good and evil of biblical porpotions. As humanity struggles to understand what happened to them and why, many look to the Slayer now for answers. But his whereabouts remain unknown."

As more the Slayer listened the more confused he got, God-like? As humanity struggles to understand what happened to them? What happened was that a few dumb-fucks decided to summon demons. As for the God-like part he can't really refute that, gaining immortality, fighting gigantic demons, and living through hell, he really can't refute that at all; but he still considers himself as HUMAN.

Now the question plagued him; what will he do now? He doesn't really know, a part of him wants to go to hell to complete his 'crusade' the other part of him wants to go to Earth and complete his other 'crusade'.

The Slayer opting the smarter choice went back to hell; hoping that no more dumb-fucks would be dumb enough to activate ANOTHER hell invasion. Started up the portal, he cycled through his guns again; that are in a long, ripped, and VERY old cloth that could be used as a cloak this is on his back and went through them to see that they are in fact in working order.

The portal unlike before was blood red, the Slayer seeing this wasn't deterred, nay, instead he thought that the blood red color of the portal was indication that he was indeed going into hell once again.

Instead after jumping through the portal, he was greeted with luscious green scenery and a river of water rushing behind him. Now he was confused but as the portal closed and without VEGA he was stuck. Shit.
