ANBU BLACK OPS (SUZAKU)

Between the stone faces of the First and Second Hokage, there is a hidden tunnel entrance leading to the building. At the top of the structure, the objective is clearly written as "Ansatsu Senjutsu Tokushu Butai" (ANBU.) which translates to "Special Assassination and Tactical Squad"

At 6:59 PM, Ryu stepped into the ANBU headquarters, greeted by a rather dull and lifeless atmosphere with eerie-looking walls. He made his way inside and patiently waited at the equipment department.

After a short while, a heavily-muscled man handed him his gear.

Ryu glanced at himself in the mirror along the hallway.

Ryu: "Cool."

The muscular man inquired, "What will be your code name?"

Ryu: "Suzaku," the Golden Phoenix.

The man replied, "Good name."

An ANBU member with an eagle mask introduced himself, "I am the Anbu Commander under the code name Eagle."

Ryu: "I'm the new recruit, code name Suzaku."

Eagle: "You adapt well. Which division are you interested in joining?"

Suzaku: "Cat division."

Eagle: "I'll test you tomorrow with some elites."

Suzaku: "Understood."

Eagle: "Get a good night's sleep."

Ryu returned to the Uchiha District, where he had already informed Shisui, who was teaching Itachi how to use stringed Shuriken.

Upon arriving home, Ryu looked at his new mask and felt overjoyed.

Shisui praised him, "Ryu, you're awesome! Joining ANBU at the age of 11 and now already a Jonin."

Ryu replied confidently, "I think you'll become one next year. This is Ryu's divine prophecy."

Shisui asked, "Really?"

Ryu mumbled to himself, "Prophecy my ass. I know the entire plot."

Having enjoyed a peaceful sleep after eating the average yet comforting home-cooked food prepared by Shisui, Ryu set off to Practice Ground 3, the ANBU division.

Eagle instructed, "Remember, the Cat Division emphasizes stealth and assassination, so you'll need more power and speed than your target. It's either kill or be killed; survival of the fittest applies to ANBU."

Ryu simply nodded in acknowledgment.

Eagle continued, "His code name is Boar. He is skilled in Ninjutsu and wields three elements skillfully: Fire, Water, and Earth. This test will solely focus on Ninjutsu, so no Genjutsu or Kenjutsu allowed."

Ryu responded, "Understood."

Eagle urged, "Both of you, use your full power."

Boar sneered, "Seriously? He's just a kid. You want me to go all out against him?"

Ryu replied confidently, "Yeah, I don't think he'll be able to handle it."

Boar grew annoyed, underestimating Ryu.

Eagle insisted firmly, "This is my order as a commander."

Ryu nodded again, saying, "Understood."

Boar scoffed, "You brat, Water Style: Raging Waters!"

The Boar spat out huge water waves from its mouth.

Ryu activated his Sharingan and unleashed "Lightning Style: Thunder Bolt."

Aiming at the Boar's mouth, Ryu's lightning attack electrified him through the water.

Eagle couldn't control his laughter, trying hard to suppress it.

The Boar retorted, "Brat, I won't go down easily!"

Ryu responded, "You lost. During a mission, if you give your opponent too much time, you'll end up dead."

Boar: "Earth Style: Earth and Stone Dragon!"

Eagle thought, "Hmm, the strongest jutsu in your arsenal Boar?"

Ryu: "Fire Release: Dragon Flame Release Song Technique."

Seven blue flame dragons soared towards the incoming earth dragon with force.

Meanwhile, Ryu noticed that Boar was getting tired due to chakra drain.

The mud dragon was destroyed.

Ryu: "Wind Style: Wind Cutter Technique."

The wind blade headed towards Boar.

Eagle: "Earth Style: Mud Wall." He constructed a huge wall and defended against the wind cutter.

Eagle said, "You pass with flying colors, Suzaku."

Suzaku asked, "Who is my next opponent?"

Eagle replied, "White Eyes, a taijutsu specialist from the Hyuga Clan."

Suzaku remained silent.

White Eyes said, "Hey, you're an Uchiha, am I right?"

Suzaku didn't respond.

White Eyes attacked with "Barrage of Gentle Fist."

Suzaku used "Uchiha Style: Burning Bones Taijutsu" to block the major attacks and finally found an opening to counter. Ryu struck the neck, causing Huyga Shen from the branch family to faint.

Eagle praised, "Nothing less expected from the Elite Uchiha Clan."

Ryu looked at him coldly with his Sharingan, causing Eagle to shiver.

Eagle said, "Hmm, we will move to the headquarters."

Eagle thought, "So, this is the standard of the Uchiha clan."

Eagle stated, "You are officially an ANBU Black Ops member from today, CAT Division."

Ryu replied, "I will do my best."
