Midnight Ride

A few days passed since that situation with Estelle. We sorted things out and I was brought up to speed on what had just happened. The Elder knew I was coming, and he was prepared. I found myself sat on a sofa around a table, Estelle and Juno both being sat around the same table.

"So, what's the situation with the rebellion?" I spoke up, as an awkward silence had beset the room. Juno shifted and sighed as if preparing herself for what Estelle was to say, who herself had shifted to sit upright.

"The rebellion is fragmented and divided. We fight amongst ourselves just as much as we fight the regime. In short, we have no chance of winning, yet no one is willing to change just how things are run."
