The Descendant's forbidden mate

“By going into the lion’s den after getting bitten by the lion itself, do you really think it would cure you, Love?”  Alora’s body clenched which only evoked her desire to the peak level by hearing that dark and husky voice. And she knew nothing can be done to sate this forbidden craving out of her system.  She was a powerful hybrid then why? Why wasn't she able to heal herself!  Alora tilted her head and slowly looked over her shoulders to see those electric blue eyes that were becoming her ultimate downfall. But she hated this man more than anything who stood there in his mighty glory, behind her in the cold river.  “How are you bearing this heat till now, Lora? You are burning like a fire. It would kill you slowly into ashes. This heat is not normal but a powerful claim.”  “It's because of you.” Her voice held so much intensity which proved she was losing bit by bit.   Next moment, He yanked her body into his and Alora’s breath hitched as He wrapped his arm around her bare waist and nuzzled his face into her neck before inhaling her enchanting scent.  “You will be my death someday, Lora. You can't imagine what you are doing to me. It's fucking out of hell and heaven. This heat of yours is calling me.” He almost growled, suppressing his lethal beast. Alora chuckled without humor. “And You are supposed to do something in which you failed. Because of you I am in this condition. You can't fucking back off your promise and let me die here. You can't fucking leave me alone.”  And a red blood tear leaked out of her eyes which made him stiffened. Alora cried, she cried for the very first time. And He couldn't understand if she was crying for him or for her condition.  “I want this killing heat out of my body.” Alora's face turned as white sheet. And He looked down at the flowing water where her bloody tears mixed into and the green river suddenly turned still. He raised his eyes to her and asked, “Are you sure, Lora? Because this is beyond the forbidden. Once I make you mine, there will be no way out. No fucking way!” She looked at his rugged face, the powerful and mysterious man who could destroy the whole realm in seconds but He was asking for her permission. But she knew He was the last resort to get her freedom. Lavender sky

"What is this golden dagger?" Alora asked finally for the first time. She wanted to know the story behind this half Golden Dagger as she heard some mystery connected to it from Nelly and the coven members around that but no one dared to disclose it to her till date. But today her father was revealing it to her for his own benefit.

"The golden dagger is the key to our obvious Victory, Alora. It is the key to open the Silent Storm gates and the first time when it opened, the dagger broke into two parts, the upper half part had been safeguarded by the Lycans for centuries till now which you need to seize from them."

Now Alora understood why they wanted the magical dagger. Silent storm gates were the most lethal place behind which the evil spirits and witches were imprisoned for centuries. It was opened once decades ago which created havoc around the world. Does her father want to open it again through the dagger?

"So that's why I need to bait Prince Erix to retrieve the dagger from the Lycans." Alora understood their strategy. Arnold nodded.

"Yes, that thing is very powerful and important, Alora. Every single creature has been trying to find the other part because the dagger was made of the spells of original witches' powers. Only this dagger can help us to end their species from the earth forever. Once we have the powerful witches beside us, the defeat of Lycans is certain!"

"So, who has it's other part?" Alora asked the right question, being intrigued.

Eldorio looked at Arnold who closed his eyes in utter frustration. Alora parted her lips, is it her father who had been taking care of it for years? Dammit! So the rumors were correct of him having connections with some powerful witches. She wondered what grand plan they had saved for her.

The three of them fell into a deep silence.

Arnold sighed deeply and finally turned his gaze to his daughter.

"The road to your revenge is near, Alora. We will extinct the Lycans from the earth before they could wipe out the rest of the witches including you. Like they did to your mother. Think about your purpose which only you can accomplish. Do whatever you can do to convince this Mood guardian."

And this hit Alora like a bullet as She squeezed her eyes, the revenge for the murder of her mother had become her sole purpose before she would look after her life.

Alora swallowed her saliva looking at her father's hopeful eyes with the tinge of warning. If she fails, she would be punished severely and if she passes, she would get her freedom. Freedom to choose her own life.

And She will do this. Even if she had to lure the guardian, even if she had to find that damn golden dagger. Even if she had to sacrifice her life doing this. Nothing was at stake except for her vengeance which was her only goal to fulfill.

"How can I get to the Lavender sky, Sire?"

The next day Arnold took Alora to the left wing of the mansion where nobody was allowed before. Only a few high-ranking people reside in this place. They walked through the corridor into the secret passage which led them downstairs and headed to the underground room.

"Come, Alora!" He ordered her before walking inside. Alora followed him as Arnold switched on the lights and they saw a small table placed in the middle of the room with something on it which was blanketed with the black cloth. Seeing it Alora understood something precious was hidden inside.

"It's something which I protected with my life, Alora. We have been keeping it safe until the right time comes to use it. But, today you need it more than anything to execute our plan. Whoever has it, they can rule the world on their whims and wishes." There was a voracious look on his face which didn't go unnoticed by his daughter.

Arnold smirked and pulled the back cloth from the table and Alora saw the shining golden-colored dagger placed in the crystal glass jug filled with the magical sparkle water. Its sheen almost blinded her but she was intrigued by its shape. The golden-colored dagger was big enough to cut any thick object. But it was broken.

"Alora, this dagger is the route which will take you to reach the Lavender sky. Nobody could get hold of it for years but you. A powerful witch! So you have to keep it safe with you." Arnold let out and grazed the sharp edge of the dagger with his rough fingers.

"Come and take it!"

Alora stepped ahead and slowly clasped it before raising it in her hand. She felt the current run through her body when she touched its sharp edge. A witch's essence was absorbed into it which she sensed.

"One thing which you must remember, never, I repeat never tell anyone about this. Especially the 'Crimson Shadow'. He might ask it but he shouldn't get hold of this dagger, Alora otherwise we all would be destroyed. You have the upper hand now. You can only lure him into it but never give it, Are you getting me?" There was an utter warning in his tone. Alora nodded.

She wanted to ask where he got it from but she knew he wouldn't give her further information.

"I leave everything to you now. Don't break my trust in you, Daughter!" Alora snapped her eyes to her father and looked into his eyes.

"It's time! I would wait for your message. Do your best and take care of yourself." Arnold said, nodding at her. She tried to find an ounce of empathy in his eyes but no. They were cold blooded just like his essence. He was asking her to take care of herself for the mission. What an irony! She chuckled inwardly.

"Look at it carefully, Alora. Touch this blade and You will reach there. Don't forget to keep it safe with you!" Arnold instructed her once again. Alora could see the lavender waves greeting her eyes as she stared at them with a deep gaze.

As she touched the silver sheen of the knife to feel, her skin got cut slightly. And It tugged her soul inside, transporting her to the other realm.

The Lavender sky!

Alora felt like a powerful energy yanked her soul at once, making her gasp. Next when she opened her eyes and looked around her surroundings, she found herself at a new place. Eerie and calm! Everything was foggy white but the sky was purplish.

Alora chanted something and the dagger blade in her hand vanished, absorbing into her magic and then she started her search.

Her eyes settled on the big trees in lines covered with frost ahead but surprisingly it was not cold there. The place was too beautiful to be true but not even a single soul was seen.

Alora walked ahead with a determination to find the guard for whom she dared to invade this realm. But as she took a few steps, she felt the ground under her started shaking terribly. Startled, Alora heard the gurgling sounds from her left and she spun her head to that side. But nothing was there. Her eyes flashed red as she put on her fighting stance. She kept looking at the empty road filled with snow for a while and squinted her eyes.

As Alora anticipated, she glimpsed that the two white wolves from far away were running wildly toward her, dragging the white chariot behind them but she couldn't spot anyone on it. Alora sharpened her vigilant eyes in attention. The big white wolves were snapping their canines while flying towards her in rage.

Alora widened her eyes as they neared her and instinctively she leaped high in the air before they could smash into her. Alora landed on the other side safely, her hair slapped her face as she snapped her head back to the chariot.

But again Nothing was there!

She blinked up in alarm. Was someone playing with her? Surely the place seemed under-spell bound and mysterious. She was ready to play her magic but something stopped her.

No, she can't mess with the owner here.

Again the sounds of the heavy paws greeted her ears and she saw the same chariot by the two big wolves.

Alright, you want to play!

Alora sighed. But this time she didn't escape and faced them, smirking.

As the wolves reached near her, Alora with her super high speed, ran to their direction, sliding down and grabbed the one leg of the wolf and yanked it backward. It slipped down and the chariot staggered wildly. Alora instantly moved and hopped high on the chariot before taking the reins in her hands, and steadying it.

"Take me to your Lord!" She ordered them and the Wolves sped up the chariot into the direction from where they came. Alora scanned her blurring surroundings with her sharp eyes but nothing seemed to be odd.

The wolves stopped at one stop near the big fence. Alora stepped down, taking her surroundings. She didn't get the message. Should she cross the fence to get to the other side? When she turned back to the wolves, they were not there.

She sighed thinking she should just go ahead to find something useful. But again an intense and powerful aura shrank the surroundings around her in a way that suffocated her and ceased her movements. Alora fisted her hands and forced herself to calm down.

Someone was there!

"And who dared to invade my property?" A deep, husky and enraged voice hit her ears, forcing her to stay numb.
