The Demon System[twice as evil].

Over the years, so many tales have been told, about the great dragon that was cast down to the earth along with his bloodlust demons. It was said that demons took charge and dominated the earth for centuries; these were the darkest ages in the history of humanity. Men tried all they could to fight off these destructive creatures from the planet, but all their efforts were worth next to nothing. These vicious creatures always gained the upper hand, because of their higher intelligence, their super advanced technologies, and mostly, their numerous supernatural abilities, which were beyond human comprehension. Just when all hopes were lost, certain beings, who called themselves, the Celestials, came to the rescue. These beings proved to be more powerful than the Demons. They outpowered the great Satan and his demons and drove them out of the earth. The defiant ruler of the Demons refused to back down. He threatened that the battle had just begun, and soon enough he would reclaim his throne as ruler of the earth. Because of this, the Celestials absorbed as many demon abilities as they could, from the Demon, and reserved them in six books called the mother books so that men could acquire them easily, and be ever ready for the great and terrible return of the Devil, Lucifer. She's in danger

Oliver slowly opened his eyes. His vision was blurred for the moment, but after some seconds, it became clear. He found himself lying down on a bed in a large hall. There were several rows of beds as well, and everything was white.

He slowly looked to the right. There was someone seated on a chair close to the bed. Oliver recognized him. It was the tall dark boy he had met by the hallway, a few days ago.

"He's awake," came a familiar voice from the other side.

Oliver turned to the other side. Jasper was standing there beside him.

"Where am I?" he muttered, as he attempted to sit up.

The throbbing pain in his head immediately came back, making him a bit disorientated.

Jasper carefully lay him back on the bed.

"You're in the orphanage infirmary. The doctor said you need some rest," Jasper said.

Oliver slowly touched his forehead. He felt bandage fabric wrapped around his head.

He tapped on the black screen of his smartwatch, and it showed 3:27.

"How long have you two been here?" he asked Jasper, with a weak tone.

"Long enough to know that you survived what could have been a severe brain trauma. However, Xavier was the one who carried you here. All thanks to him," Jasper said, pointing at the dark tall boy.

"Welcome back, Oliver," the tall boy said.

"Oh, look, here comes Dr Lacy," Jasper said.

A young lady in a white coat approached them. She had red long hair, worn in a bun, and she had this interesting smile on her face.

"Well, look who's up already," she said, "How are you feeling?"

"I... I don't know," Oliver muttered, "Just a little headache, I guess."

The young doctor stared down at Oliver with a curious expression on her face. She noticed the weakness in his appearance.

"You loosed quite a lot of blood from the injury," she said.

"Here, take these pills, they should help reduce the pain," she added, handing him some pills, with a glass of water.

Jasper carefully helped him sit up. He swallowed the pills without hesitation.

"You know you have very good friends," the doctor said.

Oliver was still wondering how all of these managed to happen. It came so suddenly, he could not tell what really happened.

"But... what happened?" Oliver muttered.

"It was Alex Humphrey, he was the one who threw the ball at you. But don't worry, the disciplinarian has given the most deserving penalty," Jasper said.

Oliver wasn't listening.

"You are very lucky, Mr Oliver. The fact that you were hit unexpectedly, and you crashed your head unto the cemented ground, is enough to cause you severe brain injury, but somehow, it turns out you only sustained a minor injury," the doctor said.

"I bet the reason you're so confused right now, is because you were unconscious the whole time," she added as if trying to answer the inaudible question displayed on Oliver's face.

"Yeah, I might've passed out the time I was hit," Oliver managed.

Oliver was trying to regain the memories of the injury, but instead, a different memory kept on playing in his mind. Remembering the vision, made him tenser. It had been quite a long time since he last had a vision. Then, he had wished never to have one again.

Oliver was worried. Someone was in great danger, and that was the girl he saw in his vision. Oliver knew it was Felicity he saw. She was the girl he saw, held up against a tree by that strange beast.

A wave of anxiety suddenly eclipsed Oliver's thoughts, and raw panic flared in his eyes. He had taken a moment to recall his past visions, coming to the realization that none of them turned out to be false, or failed to come to reality. This meant that there was a hundred percent chance that this one would certainly come to pass.

Oliver could not stop thinking about the vision. The agony and fear that he saw in Felicity, appeared so real. He had a strange feeling that she might be in trouble wherever she was at that moment.

As soon as the doctor left to attend to some other patient, Oliver managed to make it to his feet. Jasper and Xavier seemed worried about him.

"I got to go," Oliver muttered frantically, in an attempt to leave.

"Wait, don't you think it'd be, you know... good if you rest some more minutes?" said Jasper, with his brows curved down in concern.

"I know, I just want to go somewhere else," Oliver replied, with a strenuous tone.

Jasper noticed the sense of urgency in Oliver. The way he was breathing so heavily, the way his eyes were wide open, Jasper was beginning to suspect that he was up to something that might be dangerous for him, with his condition.

Oliver quickly put on his jacket.

"You don't seem right, Oliver," said Jasper, curiously.

"I'm fine," Oliver replied, rather hastily.

"What are you going to do, Oliver? You want to go after him, don't you?" asked Jasper, sounding a little more serious.

Oliver stopped and looked back at him, thoughtfully.

"What are you saying?" he muttered.

"The kid that did this to you. You want your revenge, don't you?" Jasper asked.

Oliver scoffed in bafflement.

"Oliver, I think Alex has received enough punishment already, and perhaps, you're not yet in good shape, you might get yourself into trouble, or..."

"Jasper, can you please shut up?" Oliver interrupted, with a slight look of disgust and disbelief.

Jasper and Xavier were both stunned.

"As much as I would love to have my payback on Alex, I'm not stupid to go after him now. I just need to leave right now," Oliver said. He immediately headed towards the exit door.

Jasper and Xavier remained where they were, watching Oliver as he walked right out of the door.

"Something isn't right. He's acting strange, I have a feeling he might be in trouble," Jasper said, "Don't you think so?"

"Nah... I think he's gonna be fine. After all, he's Oliver Logan," replied Xavier.

Now that Oliver was out of the medical bay, he began his search from the walkway. He wanted to find out where Felicity was and make sure that she was safe.

As Oliver walked along the path, purposefully searching for the girl, all eyes turned towards him. Already, the news of the earlier incident had already spread throughout the orphanage like wildfire. Due to how severe the injury was described to be, they were all stunned to see him on his feet already.

Oliver ignored both the onlookers and the piercing pain on his forehead. He was focused on finding Felicity and finding her at all costs.

Oliver went to many places and asked several people as well, but Felicity seemed nowhere to be found. At this point, the pain in his head seemed to have escalated to a higher level. Oliver had to find a bench quickly.

Oliver sat on a bench that was under a tall shady tree. He considered it resourceful to take a little break, so as to regain enough energy to continue the search for Felicity.

Oliver knew how important his visions were. He was about four years of age when these visions began to manifest. At first, they weren't taken seriously, but when he saw one regarding the death of his grandmother, and it happened as predicted, fear came upon his parents. Even though they pretended not to believe his visions, they never neglected them again.

Oliver's visions had suddenly stopped coming, about a year ago, and he had thought they were gone for good, but now he was convinced that they were back.

"Where could you possibly be, Felicity?" Oliver muttered.

Oliver could only see the future, and his visions usually take days, weeks, or even months to come to pass. Since he was still yet to find Felicity, he started to have a strange feeling that it might have come sooner than usual, maybe it had already happened, or it was presently happening somewhere.

"No way, that would never happen," he said to himself.

He suddenly thought of a place Felicity was most likely to be. This was the last place he had in mind, and actually, a place he had seen her more than once. It was the old library.

The old library was located at the base of the main school block. It was referred to as the old library because that was what it literally was. The old library was closed a very long time ago, and replaced by the main library; the one presently in use. Not many people visited the old library, as it was believed to have a series of spooky history.

Oliver finally got to the old library. He came to the glass window and dusted off the specks of dust that were on its surface, to get a clearer view. As he peeped through the window, he spotted someone seated on a chair, a distance away. The golden brown hair in a ponytail that Oliver saw, made him so curious.

In order to satisfy his curiosity, Oliver carefully and quietly pushed the door open and walked inside.

Oliver exhaled a sigh of relief.

Lo and behold, it was Felicity that was there. She was facing the front, continuously writing on a book that lay on the desk before her, with all her attention fixated on what she was writing.

Oliver quickly took a sit at the back. It was his first time entering the library. He gazed around, admiring the old-fashioned design and arrangement of the library. He also observed that all the books there were ancient.

Oliver was glad to see Felicity in a safe state. He was staring at her when he suddenly noticed that she was about to look back. He quickly grabbed a book from a nearby shelf and buried his face into its pages. After a short while, he carefully peeped from on top of the book. She had looked away.

After a long time of staring at Felicity, Oliver thought it was awkward, just sitting there and staring at her. He decided to flip through the pages of the book he was holding, at least.

When Oliver took a glance at the cover page of the book, the image he saw strongly drew his attention. On the front cover of the book, was the image of a creature, exactly the same as the one he saw in his vision. There was also a title in bold uppercase italics, which read; THE WEREWOLF MORPHOLOGY.

"Holy smokes," Oliver muttered, in raw astonishment.
