Traitor

"What kind of sorcery is this?" Endelle asked, dumbfounded.

The next second, with a single thought of him, another wave of lightning spears rained down on Zeno. Upon seeing this, the demon sighed.

"This is quite repetitive," he commented.

Then, his weapon turned into a scythe, and he swung it upward. It produced a wave of energy that destroyed the spears coming towards him.

"Time to wrap things up; if this is the limit of your strength, how disappointing," he added.

Afterward, he charged to where the angel was, swirling the scythe in the process. Endelle didn't stand still and just waited for him to come. With another spear conjured in his hand, he lunged to approach the demon.

After seeing the angel's movement, Zeno smiled and stopped all of a sudden, then entered a stance. He held the scythe with both of his hands on his right side, ready to swing at any second.

'What is it now?' Endelle thought, curiousity was written on his face.
