'So, this is her number?'

Jamie looked down at the Lorkey card. It read [Lorkey Witches – Exotic and Rare potion brewing!]. "Hmm…" Jamie typed the number down on his phone and called the Witch.

The phone rang but she didn't answer. Ding!

"Hi, good people of Downwood! If I didn't pick it up, I would probably be busy brewing potions or picking berries, haha. Do leave a message, please. And don't approach our house without prior notice to the Lorkey Sisters!"

Jamie looked down at the phone with an annoyed expression. "What the heck… she doesn't pick up when I need her the most. Well, I'll have to go to her place and talk things out with her I guess."

The Demon King had no choice but to simply walk back to the Witch's House through the woods.

Downwood was a beautiful city, no matter what. The Demon King was getting more and more interested in the world by the day. He decided to keep his interest because that'd help him bring back the world to the Dark Times.

[16:15]

The sun was setting when he finally set foot on the familiar grasses of the woods. The walk had taken quite a while, but he could still go further. Even though the Lorkey's House was located deep within the forest, no other house went that far. These parts of the woods were murkier and mostly, 'creepy.'

Suddenly, as Jamie stepped further, he heard a few footsteps, and with them… a somewhat weak aura. But the aroma surrounding the air was just… awful.

"Ew… what the fuck is this disgusting shit smell?" Jamie asked himself, out loud.

"RWARRR!!"

He was ambushed!

*BAM!*

The Demon King flew a few feet into the air and landed on the ground, banging his head.

He coughed as he pushed his body up from the ground, only to see little green figures surrounding him.

<Lvl 3 – Goblin>

<Lvl 3 – Goblin>

And one who was wearing a red band on his head.

<Lvl 4 – Goblin>

Of course, disgusting goblin asses.

"Imp… we can see that you're just a level 1 newbie! What are you even thinking, coming to these parts of the woods? Loser… give me all your money," the red band goblin asked for his money… as if he had much to give away.

"I am very sorry guys… but I don't think I have more than 50 shickles on me." Jamie raised his hands, grimacing at the goblins. The Level 4 Goblin was holding a knife, and the other two were simply holding clubs.

"50!? Are you kidding me…? Why are you saying that with a straight face? Please put the money on the ground before we, The Murkwood brothers give you a good spanking!" The green bastard holding the knife yelled out.

Jamie blinked. "Are you sure guys? We can resolve the matter without blood –" Jamie drew out the sword just before finishing his line. "Or not…"

The three goblins backed off upon seeing this [Old Eden Sword].

'An old Eden sword wielded by this noob? Are you kidding me?' the lead goblin thought.

"You asked for it guys…" Jamie smirked and his dark aura released from his body.

The goblins fell to their feet upon seeing this massive amount of aura surrounding the man and gasped. "DIE!"

<You have killed one [Lvl 3 – Goblin]>

<You have….>

It only took one swing to take the "Murkwood Bros" down. The only benefit was for Jamie. He took some of the coin pouches the goblins were carrying, and among those items… he found a nice looking knife too.

[Selgard Knife: Removal of Poison when the subject is poisoned. Touch the subject's wound with the blade to drag the poison out!]

The so-called Illusion barrier did not affect Jamie whatsoever, once again. He guessed that his aura was simply too overpowered.

<You have arrived at the "Lorkey Residence!">

The message popped up on his retina as he stepped closer to the fence gate of the small cottage. Even though the house looked like it was so small, inside it, there were 2 friggin floors and a huge potion shop. The place had some serious Harry Potter stuff going on…

Jamie simply opened the fence gate and walked to the lawn of the Lorkey Sisters.

"Umm… Hello!? Anyone home?"

He was expecting the older sister to open the door from the front, but that wasn't the case. Two windows shot open from the empty space above the small cottage, unveiling the invisible barrier that was keeping the whole upper floor of the residence invisible.

And the one who opened the window was – Claire!

"Huh? Jamie? Is that you down there?" she asked, blinking.

Jamie smiled. "What a bloody coincidence! I came here to meet the potion brewing witch! So you're her sister?"

"Oh my God! Come in! I am so happy to see you again!" Claire yelled down the window and hurried along the stairs to take the door. Her sister, Melloni, who was brewing down in the basement hurried up the stairs upon hearing the knock too.

"Claire? Who is it – and – the barrier!?"

"It's Jamie, sister! He says he wants to meet you!"

Melloni blinked upon hearing the familiar name. "Ooo… he came?" She pulled down the glasses and cleaned the circles with a corner of her dress.

Jamie stood at the doorstep, gazing at a weird smiling sunflower plant right beside the door. They were actually alive… and that smile was not the least bit cute, just friggin creepy.

The door swung open and Claire greeted him.

"Come, Jamie… have a seat, please!"

Again, Jamie was invited to this small cottage. Only this time, he knew both the sisters and the two were there at the same time.

The hospitality of these few girls he had met was truly admirable, but Holly's fell a bit too far.

The Demon King sat on the chair near the old fireplace and the girls took a seat on the couch. Claire had a few questions to ask him, but her older sister asked them before she did.

"Jamie… so we meet again. And again you have simply gone through the barrier, impressive! And… moreover, how do you two know each other?"

Jamie gazed at Claire with a slightly awkward expression.

"First of all, your barrier magically doesn't have any effect on me… and, I met your sister at the library this morning."

"Oh, is that so," the older sister fixed the position of her glasses. "Then why don't you explain why you are here – oh wait… is it about the house I told you about??"

"Exactly."
