The trial part 1

Once the eyes in the sky disappeared from view and returned to the red clouds that loomed over the entire castle the tense air that was around us disappeared with it. "We shall continue in the throne room," Wrath said as he walked off followed by the other sins. Seeing them walk away from view I could only breathe a sigh of relief "I'm lucky that we didn't fight, cause if we did I would have lost." I look back at green and yellow and can see the look on their faces, well yellows since green is currently paralyzed and can't move a single muscle in his body right now.

I planted a few seeds on the roots that were currently absorbing the demonic magic that was going inside of his body. The seeds soon bloom revealing several yellow flowers and the roots of those flowers wrapping around the roots that were absorbing green demonic magic. "Sheesh we did a number on him," I said as I could see several cuts, bruises, and cracks on his carapace. "And he did a number on us," I say to myself as I look at yellow who had several cuts and bruises on her body caused by the multiple wind attacks he launched at us.

I look at Green once again and only look at him before sighing "Ok let us go," I say as I create a root creature out of the [Demonic Roots] that I used to wrap Green in. The creature I created looked like a Snake that had two arms and three heads. "I shall call your being the 'Root Hydra'." As I look at the Hydra and try to figure out what skills I should give it, I realize that I have no clue what skills I should give to my other Root creatures. "Agh it's going to be such a pain to remember what skills they have and what skills they don't."

I soon realized the answer to this problem quickly. "Hey, the system can you make a new window that contains all the root creatures that I have created throughout the times, of course only the ones that I have named."

[System is now creating the 'Root Creature' Catalog]

Soon my stat window opens up and on the bottom part of it I can see an icon saying 'Root Creatures.' The screen has every root creature that I have made throughout the times with the skills that I gave them. "Hmm, I think I should change these skills the Deltas and Alphas have, and maybe the Goliath."

I soon began to change the skills of the Deltas, Alphas, and Goliaths. After changing their skills I finally began to add skills to the new root creature, the Root Hydra. After giving it those skills I opened up the [Root creatures] window and began to look at the changes.

Deltas- Root creatures that have a body of a wolf and the head of a Venus flytrap with several spikes on their spine. Its size is the same as a regular wolf's.

[Skills: Root Control, Soul eye, Specter Hands, Digestion, Natures Hand, Root Duplication, and Mana absorption]

Alpha- A root creature with the head of a Venus flytrap, the torso of a humanoid, and the lower body of a Delta. Its size is about the same as a transportation bus.

Goliath- A root creature that resembles an alligator the size and width of a bus, they can launch concentrated decay beams at their victims turning them into stone.

Root Hydra- A root creature that has the body of a snake, except for having two arms that allow it to move and climb things more easily. It also has three heads that shoot the [ Demonic Petal] skill turning their victims into Flowers. Its height is about a two or three-story building and its width is the same as a train.

"That seems right '' I say feeling proud of the changes I added to the Root creature's skills. "Hydra brings Green with us, and be careful with him." Me and yellow begin to walk towards the Demon king's throne room followed by the Root Hydra carrying Green in its two hands while draining the Demonic energy entering his body. We soon stop in front of the throne room, me and yellow look at each other before looking at the massive door that was blocking us and the Demon King's throne room.

As I opened the door we could see the sins in the center of the room kneeling while the Demon King sat on his throne, looking at the seven of them. His gray mana continued to distort and block my vision from seeing his true form. So he still looked like a humanoid being covered in a gray substance that was constantly absorbing the nearby magic in the air and destroying it.

Gulp*

I hear a gulp to my left and see yellow looking scared, no she wasn't scared. She was terrified. "What do you see? '' I asked her. She looked at me with an expression that made anyone who looked at it freak out. "I see a being that has red skin, two horns, a muscular build, and several gray tattoos on its body," she said while looking back at the Demon lord. "Why are you calling the demon lord 'being'." She looks at me and says "its face and body are constantly changing, the only things that aren't in its eye, are tattoos, skin, and horns."

"So he is like the World King then," I say while looking at the demon's lord gray figure with its two white eyes that were looking at the sins, not even changing its sights to look at me. As I think this his eyes soon look at me and yellow and we are hit by a feeling of fear as if we were looking at a Predator that was looking at us as if we weren't even a snack to it.

"Let's begin this meeting," he says, he soon raises his hand. Soon the sins all stood up and soon walked to the walls to the right of the Demon King. He looked at me and gestured his hands to his left, indicating us to go to that wall. Me, yellow, and the hydra soon moved to that wall and looked at the Demon king awaiting his judgment.

"Let's get down to business, you are here because I sensed a disturbance in my territory and I sent my eyes to look at what was going on and I saw a bug making a mess in my castle. Would you like to explain." Wrath soon steps forward and begins to explain "what happened your majesty was that the eight sin named Red brought a person to our castle and began to attack the nearby buildings and personnel." The Demon king hearing what Wrath said turned his head towards me and looked at my face. "Explain," the Demon King said while looking at me.

"Your Majesty, I bought an ally from the realm of the humans since I thought he would be of great help, but I forgot that it was his first time entering the Demon realm and so he began to evolve and go on a rampage. He is currently being restricted and contained by my Root Hydra '' I say as I move my body towards the Root Hydra who was holding Green in its giant hand. The Demon king looks at the Root Hydra for a bit before looking back at me "I see, is it absorbing the demonic magic entering the body of the bug."

Hearing what he said I become surprised "is he able to see the flow of magic?!" "Yes he is your majesty" the Demon Lord looks at Green "release him." Confused I look at the Demon King for a bit before obeying his command and telling the Root Hydra to release him.

The Root Hydra obeyed and soon let Green go and as soon as he is set free he looks around for a bit before his eyes land on the Demon King. As his eyes land on him he at first goes mad and was about to go insane again, but soon stopped when the Demon King said one-word "kneel."

As if he was a dog obeying a master's command Green instantly got on one knee and looked at the ground. The sight shocked me and yellow as when we tried to talk to him he didn't respond to us or even try to listen, but when the Demon King spoke he instantly listened with no hesitation.

This is when I remembered a skill that I got when I evolved into a Flower of Sin, the skill was called [Rule over Demons] it allowed the user to control any weaker Demons around the user. So if I have the skill, the Demon king would have the skill or a skill similar to it.

"Hmm, so he is a Hive Minder," the Demon king said as he looked at the green. Hearing what he said the sins all had a shocked look on their faces, well almost all. "What is a Hive minder?" Greed said as she looked at the green.

Sloth looked at greed before saying "you know what a Hive mind is, correct?" Greed looked at the sloth as if he was asking a dumb question "yes I know what a hive mind is, they are creatures that control those who fall under their influence as if they were controlling puppets."

"Well you can look at Hive Minders as the Royal versions of the Hive Minds, but they aren't categorized as a Hive mind because they hunt Hiveminds." Hearing this Greed was confused "what do you mean by that?" "You see Hive Minders have the ability to control creatures using something from their body just like the Hive Mind, but unlike the Hive Minders who can't control other Hive Minds the Hive Minder can. They can turn legendary hive minds into their puppets if they want to, which is why they are categorized as a different species."

Hearing this, Greed looked back at Green now seeing him differently than what she first saw him as. Unknown to those two though I was listening to their conversation and was able to hear their entire conversation.

I look at the green and feel lucky that I brought him with me for this task. The Demon king looked in my direction, causing me to tense up. "You brought a good ally for your task, once he is done evolving you will lead the Demon army to attack the pests who are bothering us."
