Meeting Red part 3

"Well I'm not going to let my future allies leave me on this island" said Red as he was watching in the body of one of the deltas. This was possible thanks to one of the new functions Root Creature had. The function allowed him to take control of one of his creatures body and if the creature died he wouldn't die unless his main body was destroyed. The down side to this is that he could only use the skills the creature was given.

"I'll wait until it's night to attack them. But I wonder why are there creatures of the island next to the humans and not attacking them?" Red was confused at the sight of the creatures that use to attack him not attacking any of what he believed were humans.

"Either way it doesn't concern me, I'll just head back and-"

Snap*

At this point he heard a stick break behind him and as he turned around he saw a hooded person walking behind him holding a knife.

"..."

"..."

"Aaaah" the hooded figure than charged at Red while yelling catching the attention of the other hooded people nearby.

"Damn it I guess I'm going to have to start my attack plan early" thought read as he sent a telepathic message to several of the root creatures.

As he finished sending his message he jumped onto the open beach where everyone could see him.

"What is that thing!"

"Where did it come from?"

Red heard the humans speak and some how understood what they said. "System why can I understand them?"

[The reason you can understand them is because the system is translating all of their world into a language you can understand]

"That's a nice feature and here I thought I had to buy a skill that let's me translate what they were saying" Red then saw several hooded figures running at him with diffrent kinds of wepons.

"Hmm should I go easy on them or hard?" thought red as the hooded figures got closer.

"I guess I'll go hard on them" said Red as he smiled internally.

Elizabeth and Byro could be seen sitting on top one of the ships looking into the forest. Byro kept asking Elizabeth what they should do and if they needed to do something "For the last time we can't leave the island until the church knows all the students are here" yelled Elizabeth as she was annoyed at hearing Byros questions.

"Sheesh sorry I was just wondering what to do, since this never happend in the past." Said Byro a bit sad. "I'm sorry that I yelled at you but you must understand that I don't know all the answers."

Byro looked at Elizabeth and looked back at the forest "WHAT IS THAT" yelled Byro as he took a few steps back. Elizabeth looked up confused at why Byro yelled until she saw what he saw.

She saw a creature with a Venus flytrap head and a lower body of a lion or wolf with a tail that looked snake like. "Everyone move away" yelled a hooded man who could be seen running at the creature.

Elizabeth then saw more hooded figures jumping off the boat and running at the creature. At this time the creature lifted its head and its mouth started moving a bit in and out. "What is it doing?" thought Elizabeth confused why the creature isn't attacking yet.

"wait is it calling for allies" thought Elizabeth as she now knew why it wasn't attacking the hooded figures or the students.

When the creature finnaly lowers its head several hooded figures stabbed their wepons into the creatures body.The creature stumbled a bit but got back up. It then shook its body violently causing many of the hooded figures to fly off with their wepons in tow.

The creature then looked around and looked at one of the hooded figures on the ground who was getting up. It then charged at the person at a fast pace. When the creature was close enough it opened its Venus flytrap mouth wide and closed it one the person while it continued to run.

The impact made the man yell out loud in pain as he then tried to free himself from its mouth but to no avail. The creature noticing the person struggle open its mouth wide open and quickly closed it.

What could be heard next were several cracking and snapping sounds and a incoherent yell coming from the man.

The creature then tossed the man out of its mouth and turned around to face the others. At this time Ray, Tom, and the high priest as well as several other hoodednfigures could be seen coming out of the boat and seeing the creature.

"What type of creature is that" said Tom "What ever it is, it just killed Greg" Said a hooded figure who jumped off the fishing boat and began to charge at the creature with a blue tipped spear.

The creature turned its head at the man's direction and just stood there looking at him. As the man continued charging at the creature he thought the creature froze in fear cause of his might. Everyone around him on the other hand had a bad feeling.

The man was only a few feet in the away from the creature and as he was ready to shove his spear into the creatures head he stopped moving and felt a sharp pain coming from his stomach. As the man looked down he saw root like things coming out of the ground going all the way up to his stomach.

The man looked at the creature and saw it walking around the man "I got to cocky" said the man as he let out his last breath.

The sight of the man dying shocked the hooded figures and made most of them afraid. "What is that thing" said Elizabeth as she began to chant.

When she finished chanting she saw what stabbed the man and was shocked to realize that they were roots coming and not any ordinary roots but the same ones she saw when she was running to the beach. She turned her gaze to the creature and was shocked to see the creature being made out of roots that were exactly the same to the ones that stabbed the Church member.

"Ray that thing is made out of roots" yelled Elizabeth who caught Ray's attention. "How do you know" yelled Ray "My blessing allowe me to see and use things closely connected to nature and the creature had the same outline as plants" yelled Elizabeth.

"Oh she discovered what this body is made out of how interesting. System what is a blessing?"

[A blessing is a gift given by the gods to mortal creatures. Anything given a blessing could use some form of the gods power]

"So it's basically allows people to use a small bit of a gods power." said Red more intrigued.

"I guess I need to change a bit of my plans and capture the girl." Red then sent a new telepathic message to the rest of the root creatures.

"Is it communicating with its allies" said Elizabeth as she saw the creature lift its head up and did the same actions as last time.

Graaaagh*

Everyone turned their heads to the forest as they heard not one not ten but hundreds of dealing roars coming from the forest. "Everyone get prepared" said the High priest as he grabbed what looked like a staff off his back.

Everyone including the students turned their heads around and looked at the woods. They couldn't see anything clearly in the forest.

Thump Thump thump*

They could hear quick footsteps coming from the woods.

Thump Thump Thump*

The foot steps got louder and louder and closer and closer.

Thump*

The foot step sound stopped as the sound made it look like they were just infront of them. Everyone looked to one another and soon a student began to walk towards the woods. Many of the church members saw this and tried to stop him but it was to late he was already inside the woods.

There was silence when the student disappeared into the woods.

"Aaaah"

The next thing they heard was a blood curdling scream coming from the woods. And within the next fee seconds Thunderous roars could be heard coming from the woods again.

Several creatures that resembled the one that they were currently fighting could be seen running out of the woods charging at the people.

"What do I do" said Elizabeth as she saw the swarm of creatures running out of the woods.

"Everyone be prepared" Yelled one of the Churchber as he drew his sword out and soon students and Church members began to draw their wepons and prepared for a fight.

"It's been an honor fighting with you" said a hooded man as he looked at Ray "The honor is all mine" said Ray as she smiled as she created a now and arrow made out of sand.

As the church members and students prepared to fight it out they saw a piece of stone fly past their heads. As they looked closer the noticed something about it. "Isn't that a taming stone" said a hooded figure.

Many of the students and hooded figures all focused their attention on the stone as it landed on one of the creatures. The stone turned to dust as it made contact and began to spread across the creature. As the dust spread more across the creature everyone noticed that it was spreading to the nearby creatures. One by one the dust spreaded around the creatures until it disappeared into the woods.

BOOM*

Everyone looked at the direction where the explosion came from and saw several trees beging to fall. The next thing they saw were crests poping up on everyone one the creatures that came out of the forest. The creatures began to roar out in pain and one by one their bodies began to fall apart.

Within seconds all of the creatures that came to attack them collapsed to the ground dead. Several of the hooded figures walked up to the dead creatures and picked up a piece of its flesh "It's roots their body was made out of roots."

Several more of the hooded figures picked up the flesh of the creatures only to see that it really was made out of roots. "So your saying we could have burned them up or something like that and could have won with no casualties" said a hooded figure as he tossed one of the roots down into the sand."

"Wait who even tamed the creature" said a student making everyone realized that the thing was tamed by someone. "Uh I think my sister tamed it" everyone turned their heads to where the voice originated from and saw non other then Byro pointing at Elizabeth.

"So the next head of the Barnes family tamed the creature" said Ray as she looked at Elizabeth with shock.

"Next head of the Barnes family may you please order the creature to come here" said the high priest as he walked to Elizabeth. "Y-Yes high priest" answered immediately "Please head my call servant and come to me."

As she finished her order nothing happend for a couple of seconds. "Hey what is that" said a student as the pointed at one of the creatures corpses. Everyone gazed at the corpse and saw a Pinkish, blackish flower sprouting from the corpse. Soon the corpses body was entirely covered by the flower.

The several roots came out of the pile of flowers forming a mound of roots.

"You call me my master" said a voice that resounded to all of the living things nearby.

"Uh, yes I have called you might I know the name of my future ally" said Elizabeth in a polite tone.

"My name is" there was a pause and then a voice came once more "My name is Red."
