William spent a good chunk of time wandering the shop with Bardin, carefully examining various spears. However, despite their careful scrutiny, none of the spears on display quite lived up to William's specific needs. Some of them came close, but their price tags put them far out of his budget range. A sense of disappointment crept into his heart.
Bardin, noticing William's disappointment, reassured him, "Don't fret, William. A new batch of spears is on its way. I've entrusted them to a reliable level 1 runemaster for engraving. They should be back in a few weeks. You can come and choose one then."
William nodded, feeling a bit more optimistic. In the meantime, he could focus on honing his swordsmanship.
Speaking of swords, Bardin turned his attention to the blade in William's hand. "As for that sword, are you certain you want it?" Bardin asked, eyeing the weapon with a critical gaze.
