The Death: Origin of the Grimoire.

Ivan was an extremely talented human; he was handsome, great at fighting, and even smarter than the others; he was considered a prodigy at almost everything he did. But he was ordinary, or so he persistently believed, because ever since he gained a sense of self, he had been feeling distant to everything and everyone. But one day, when a strange phenomenon took place on Earth, Ivan was teleported to the "Unknown World." That was supposed to be the strangest thing that could ever happen in a human life, but Ivan accepted it as if it were natural. * After surviving persistently for 2,897 years, he was able to escape that cursed world. But it seemed like fate had other things planned for him; no, it was as if fate had abandoned him. An existence calling itself the "Law of Casualties" stopped him, denied the entirety of Ivan’s existence, and tossed him in "hell" after sealing away the power he earned for himself. He determined for himself that whatever happened, he would survive through everything and live a lazy and peaceful life with loved ones on Earth! And if he ever felt the need to, then even considering revenge. *** AN: I don’t know who the artist of the cover is, but if you want me to remove it.... you can ask me to do so (T-T). Credits to the artist. [Warning: Please don’t expect constant uploads as I have another book going on, though I am expecting it to end soon, you can check it out if you want. I love romance and action so you can expect that, but the story won’t contain only that.] [It is a entirely new world (according to me at least), new monsters, bloody or gore scenes, regressor, transmigrators, angels, demons, dragons, wars, and ton more exciting things, personally I love this story, I’ll pour all of my imagination and do my best to show the entirety of my imagination on this story.] Power stone Goals [Or whatever I should have written here] -50 stones = one new chapter which I consider to be a [Return Gift] which will be written in the chapter name, why? I don't know, I just liked that thought. Hehehe. So [2 Chapters for 100 stones] Hmm... For now, let's keep it so that there will be a new chapter for every 50 power stones. [AN: Novel's schedule update!! Three chapters a week: Mon, Thur, and Sun! Extra chapters at the end of the week, if the goal is fulfilled of course.] Then, [Peace] Anyway, thank you for reading. Hope you enjoy the story, and [Peace]

[Analysis complete!]

[User's [Bone Age]: 21 years.]

:::::::|

'??' Ivan's eyes narrowed at the interface that showed that he hadn't aged even a bit after he reached the [Unknown World].

But what he didn't know was that, it wasn't that he hadn't aged even a day, but his body stopped being "human" after he unknowingly ate the [Demonic Slime]'s shattered core with wolf's blood soup due to the extreme hunger.

His body had stopped being "human" and had also stopped aging as like a "human," instead become a lot more demonic and monstrous.

'Whatever I guess?' Ivan shrugged and put those thoughts to the back of his mind, since currently, it was helpful for his plans.

Remembering to keep his teenager like curiosity active and try to mend into the human civilization, Ivan peeked back towards Zilla and Nu, slightly awkwardly. But, Zilla and Nu, whose [Bone Age]s displayed [????] somehow began to lower, as the pair began to control what was shown on the holographic interface until they showed 21 and 21 perfectly, as if both of them were competing against each other on who would get their [Bone Age] similar to Ivan's.

With a deadpan expression on his face, Ivan glanced back at his own interface that displayed something else after affirming that he was indeed below the maximum age limit before accepting his choice on joining the academy.

Ivan began to fill the resume with the help of the manifested, holographic interactive keyboard which popped up upon tapping on the which detail he wanted to fill. Leaving out his family name, skills, and his [Returnee] [Title], Ivan filled everything else truthfully before tapping on [Submit].

After a series of circling animation;

[Welcome to the [Worlds Academy], Ivan! Your [Catholic-RC] shall arrive in few minutes with an S-type automata, who shall be your guide to your dormitory!]

::::::|

(*RC – Registration Card)

After a few minutes, a few male and female human-faced [Automata]s walked into the room with black coloured trays in their robotic arms.

A female human-faced automata walked towards Ivan and bowed politely.

[Hello, Ivan. I am S-23, I shall be your guide and manager in your times in the [Worlds Academy]]

"Hello, S-23." Ivan nodded in understanding.

[This is your [Catholic-RC] which is essential for almost everything in and out of the academy.] S-23 stated as it slightly pushed forward the tray it held.

It was only then that Ivan noticed a thin black coloured card in the middle of the black coloured tray that made the card seem invisible. Picking up the card that lit up in a bright blue colour at the bottom right edge at his touch.

Ivan noticed that the card was light, smooth yet hard to touch. Out of curiosity, Ivan tried to do things that could potentially active or unlock the card without asking for S-23's assistance.

With a gentle tap of his fingers, the card's centre lit up in bright blue before a small pop up appeared above his card.

[Outfit] <[Profile]> [Stats]

The outfit and stats options were slightly dimmer which relied to its user that it was scrolling pop up. Upon swiping his right thumb to the left Ivan gazed at the options spinning with different kinds of names.

Namely;

[Outfit]

[Profile]

[Status]

[Job]

[Stats]

[Skills]

[Titles]

[Levels]

[Experience points allocation settings]

[Registration Number]

[Dorm Number]

[Rankings]

[Stature]

[Events]

While each and every option displayed, the number of [Ri]s, gold, silver, bronze, steel, fate, HP, MP, and experience points they held was visible in small texts at the bottom of the interactive interface.

"Can anybody else access this card without my permission?" Ivan asked S-23 while it returned after placing the tray next to the wall, which disappeared into the ground a few seconds later.

[It is not possible to do so. Your card unique to yourself, and all the data is stored in the [Cloud] which is not possible to be accessed by the outside.] S-23 stated.

"Is it possible to enter the [Cloud]?"

[It is not possible to do so physically.]

"Hmm...."

'Then it would explain why my [Title] and skills are registered even though I didn't register them voluntarily.' Ivan pondered after checking that his titles and skills were indeed visible in the [Catholic-RC], as he wondered whether the [Cloud] was connected to the [System] or not. Of course, it merely a suspicion without any actual basis.

But, only that suspicion would conclude a possibility that actually made sense, since his skill set and titles were known to none, except him and the system.

"How to exchange contacts?"

[You need to tap another user's card to send a request to exchange your contacts.]

"Zilla, Nu." Ivan called out and when they appeared in front of him, Ivan tapped his card on theirs and curiously gazed at what was going to happen. And just as S-23 explained, a pop up appeared on their cards that asked whether they want to accept or decline the contact's exchange. Which they accepted upon Ivan's command.

'Fascinating...' Ivan thought as he clicked on Zilla to learn how it worked.

[Zilla]

[Call] [Message] [Invite] [Video Call]

"What does [Invite] do?" Ivan asked S-23.

[The card will send an invitation to the selected contact and if user wishes, you can send share your location too.] S-23 explained.

"Hmmm....." Ivan sent invitations to both Zilla and Nu, and even shared his dorm's location from the displayed options, before asking S-23 to guide him to his dorm, of course, while Zilla and Nu followed after him.

*

Upon reaching the dormitory assigned to Ivan, S-23 explained that there would be an opening ceremony tomorrow morning and that they would be notified an hour before.

And to answer Ivan's questions on whether the upper levels' users could roam around in the lower levels' floors, S-23 explained in affirmation and also stated that those of the lower floors wouldn't be able to do the same. It was an affirmation that backed up Velor's warning to stay low and grow stronger. S-23 also explained that he will be guided through the functions accessible in the dorms and how to do so will be known when he taps his foot on the floor similarly to what C-10 did back in the registration hall.

Zilla and Nu, who were following him were stopped when they were about to follow him into the dorm by a magic barrier right in front of his room's door, but were allowed to enter when they scanned their invitation they received on the room door's sensor and scanner.

S-23 was also about to enter, but was stopped by Ivan, who assured the bot that he'll call upon it when required with his [Catholic-RC], when he was about to enter the dorm after he tapped his card on the scanner embedded right below the door handle, he noticed that the bot didn't leave but instead was standing right next to his dorm's door while the pristine white wall behind the bot slid open and wires, whose functions are assumed to be for charging, slithered and connected to S-23's back where a small 10 pin slots on its robotic exoskeleton was seen.

Which was gazed at by Ivan's curious eyes before he walked into the room.
