Seeing a random boy talk to Shyam like an old friend left Raitha and Ritika stunned. Both had assumed Shyam had no other friends besides them, as he always appeared reserved and distant.

Though their assumptions weren't entirely wrong, there was more to Shyam's story than they knew.

The boy stood in front of Shyam, grinning mischievously. "Are these your friends? I haven't seen you for two months, and you've already made friends! And not just any friends, but two girls? Looks like I'll never catch up to you in anything, will I? Haha!"

He chuckled at his own comment, but Shyam's glare spoke volumes. If looks could kill, the boy would've been long gone.

"Weren't we supposed to keep our project a secret?" Shyam said, his tone sharp. "Why are you shouting it out like that?"

The boy, unfazed, placed a hand on Shyam's shoulder with a sly smile. "Well, that's because there's no need to keep it a secret anymore. The principal approved our club! It's official now, and he even gave us permission to showcase our project during the upcoming Club Together festival. So we don't have to hide anything anymore!"

Hearing this, a broad smile spread across Shyam's face. His excitement was palpable, and it was clear how much this news meant to both of them.

But before their joy could continue, Raitha couldn't resist her nature. Her curiosity took over.

"What are you two talking about?" she asked.

This time, to her surprise, Shyam didn't hesitate or try to deflect the question. Instead, he calmly explained everything.

"Actually, I'm part of a club called The Video Editors Club," Shyam began. "It's a group where we work on video editing projects—creating and editing videos. But until now, we weren't an official club because we didn't meet the minimum requirement of six members.

"Recently, we recruited two new members, which allowed us to apply for official status. The principal noticed our efforts and became interested in our club. That turned out to be a blessing since we need proper equipment, like computers, to work on our projects.

"The principal not only approved our club but also decided to invest in it. With the Club Together festival coming up, where all the school clubs showcase their skills, we wanted to present something special. So, we've been secretly working on a video edit featuring highlights of the school.

"But now that we're officially recognized, we don't need to keep it under wraps anymore!"

Raitha listened intently, her surprise evident. She had never seen Shyam this passionate about anything. It made her wonder if video editing was more than just a hobby for him. Perhaps it was something deeper—something that truly resonated with him.

After the explanation, the four of them—Shyam, the boy, Raitha, and Ritika—began to part ways. Before leaving, Raitha made sure to ask the boy's name.

"It's Joy Raj," he said with a cheerful smile before waving goodbye.

As they walked home, Raitha couldn't help but think about what Shyam had revealed. The idea of being part of a club—contributing to something bigger—was fascinating to her. She had never been part of a club herself, so she couldn't imagine the sense of accomplishment that came with it.

With this new secret unveiled, Raitha realized there was so much more to Shyam than she had ever thought.
