Why???

Jess: "Little do they know the reality of the situation."

I turned in fear as I realized Jess had been in the doorway the entire time. I never heard a thing from her I never even heard the door open.

Rose: "AGH! What the hell you scared the shit out of me!"

Jess: "Hehe sorry I do that out of habit you will get used to it but anyway back to important matters, you never answered me fully. Now that I've helped your sister and you have calmed down, what will you do now? Because the way I see it you only have one choice."

The look on her face was that of a dealer in a casino. Of all I knew about her was from the games interviews, to meeting her, to now and that was... she has one hell of a poker face.

I felt like I couldn't read her at all and her mask didn't make it easier even if it was very cute. Almost distractingly cute with how pink and feminine it is. The mask is a pink Hello Doggy mask that covers from under her chin to the bridge of her nose. With it, she seemed more like a girl with secrets than a ghost who kills people cold-heartedly.

Rose: "Right the offer. Was that what you were referring to? I'm sorry but my memory is a bit hazy can you remind me?"

She walked toward me and as she got close I could feel this aura as if she could kill me in any way she wanted to... if she wanted to. I felt her stare at me as she sized me up and down. And when she sighed I felt fear for some reason.

Jess: "I'm not surprised, seeing how frail you are... no offense. You and I made a deal, I help your sister and help you then in return, you marry me."

She said those words with a nonchalance that almost scared me.

Rose: "So you want me to marry just like that? No questions asked? And w-w-why... why me, and why now?"

Jess: "You see I come from a not-so-great family my mother is religious and my father was a drunkard and they have been bothering me and calling me a killer and won't leave me be. So to get them to stop I decided I'd do the one thing to make them disown me. I decided to marry another girl."

I was shocked I couldn't fathom how this woman's brain worked. But I had more important things to worry about. I had to know what would happen to my freedom if I accepted this.

Rose: "So when you say marry you, does that mean I become your wife and have to only love you even if I dislike you... I mean not that I di-"

She took the phone off the bedside table and held up her hand to silence me as if she knew what I was about to ask.

Jess: "Relax doll, I won't be hurt if you go out and fuck any random guy do it just all I need from you is to pretend to be the perfect lesbian wife when we go out and we will have to for the cameras, understand?"

I felt relief at her words but I was also confused. I can sleep around but have to be her wife on screen? I could only hide my blushing face at the thought of my sister seeing me on TV kissing this cold-hearted killer.

Rose: "What hospital is my sister in? And what are all the benefits I gain from this?"

Jess: "Well for starters I saved your life. Secondly, I sent your sister to a hospital that's a 5-minute drive from here and she has the best doctors money can buy taking care of her. Also, your benefits are on this contract here."

As she said this she handed me her phone and on it was a document with a place for me to sign and the benefits were more than I could have thought...
