Lou's power was elementary at best. It was silly and used to make his days a little bit brighter and a little bit easier. But if he were to use it as a weapon, I doubted Sterling and I would have stood a chance against him.
So when introducing a being who'd allegedly had centuries to master the art, was one of the most powerful witches the world had ever seen, and wanted to hurt us very much . . . it was hard to find hope in our chances.
Last time we'd won because we were lucky. Because we'd fought her indirectly. I just wasn't sure taking the fight to her was such a good idea. I voiced that.
