Never in a million years did Marcus think that he will be chosen as the marriage candidate for the king of werewolves. Especially when he is a prince and not a princess! Alwyn took Marcus by the hand and led him inside the palace. The Prince turn back and watched it happen.
He was still filled with disbelief, it was hard to believe that Marcus could still be alive. They had all watched him die and it was the saddest moment of their lives.
They had moaned for so long, it felt like forever but the pain was fresh as though it was only inflicted yesterday.
Reina used the help of her son to walk into the palace. She was conflicted about how to react to the fact that Marcus was still alive.
It had been so long since their family was complete. They all had to make a lot of sacrifices during that time, so many of them had lost something or the other when he was gone.
Meanwhile, the palace was flaring with colors. It reminded Reina of the day that she entered Bran's palace for the first time and met his family.
When she met the evil temptress that believes Bran belongs to her.
