Never in a million years did Marcus think that he will be chosen as the marriage candidate for the king of werewolves. Especially when he is a prince and not a princess! But the king made his choice and the humans are in no power to refuse him. For humanity's sake, you go along with it. But problem is that he isn't the only one married to him. He has to fight for the king's affection with other consorts. He finds that he has to brush on his skills and seduce and gain the affection of the werewolf king who is a hybrid. Will he find a way to win over the king and bring peace between the races?
My own queen
Marcus searched around the ballroom for the person who gave him the warning. His mind was in chaos. The way the king was since he learned of Reina's death did seem as though he was cursed.
As though he was charmed and under some spell. He hoped that Reina and Bran find him and bring him home. His heart was filled with worry over the king's mental condition.
Yet he didn't let it show. In front of the watchful eyes, he kept his face calm and refrained from breaking down.
On the other side of the palace, Reina held Morpheus's hand as she led him to the room. With great difficulty she had got the king to return to the palace. With the vampire king and her witch right behind them.
She set the king on the bed. The witch neared the bed and started the spells to break the enchantment around the king's body.
"You should go to the party and support Marcus," She requested from yhr vampire king.
