Never in a million years did Marcus think that he will be chosen as the marriage candidate for the king of werewolves. Especially when he is a prince and not a princess! But the king made his choice and the humans are in no power to refuse him. For humanity's sake, you go along with it. But problem is that he isn't the only one married to him. He has to fight for the king's affection with other consorts. He finds that he has to brush on his skills and seduce and gain the affection of the werewolf king who is a hybrid. Ariadne glared at the darkness approaching her. Her heart kept warming up as though reacting to the danger approaching.
"Jump," she commanded to her husband.
Draxan stayed put, they were one. So they either lived together or died together and their was nothing more to discuss on the matter.
He would stand by her side for the better of worse. He had vowed so on their wedding and he meant every word. He would not leave her side with something so dangerous approaching them.
Ariadne was getting fearful with every second that passed. Draxan wasn't leaving and the shadow still approached them. She held on to him, if that was really how she was going down then she wanted to do it in his arms.
She was the woman and she should be able to protect her husband. It was a beautiful feeling to be able to protect the one she loved. And even more beautiful to have them with you in your difficult time.
