The Darker Side Of Love
Never in a million years did Marcus think that he will be chosen as the marriage candidate for the king of werewolves. Especially when he is a prince and not a princess! But the king made his choice and the humans are in no power to refuse him. For humanity's sake, you go along with it. But problem is that he isn't the only one married to him. He has to fight for the king's affection with other consorts. He finds that he has to brush on his skills and seduce and gain the affection of the werewolf king who is a hybrid. Will he find a way to win over the king and bring peace between the races?
Marcus's downfall
The sun had set. Marcus had stayed with the king the whole day. The man was afraid of what the Queen might do to him and decided the safest place for him was by his side.
The time for the challenge had passed. Neither had the king apologised nor had Reina been given the chance to harm Marcus. But it did make the king worry, Marcus was her target yet the whole day had passed without anything happening.
This also came as a worry to Marcus. He didn't know Reina but the little he knew of her was enough not to underestimate her threat.
She was serious when she promised that the king would regret it. She was hellbent on being by the king's side yet she made no move. She wouldn't just create a challenge to lose when she has to leave as a result.
"Looks like the Queen changed her mind," the king uttered relieved a little.
