Chapter 1 :Emma

It was a beautiful day, I woke up with a smile curve across my face, it was time when school was about to start and I was pretty excited. My reason for the excitement was not just the starting of school, but now is the time I will be closer to achieving my dream, the only important thing right now, and that was "DANCE"

Dance had always been my one true love since childhood, I could barely imagine my life without Dancing.

'Hurry we are late' came the voice from across the room,

I went out and tiptoed to see who was it, and then I saw it was Lana with an ear to ear grin on her face.

"What's happening?" I asked her. "Do you really want to be late today of all the other days? "She questioned with a rather straight face.

I quickly got ready, stuffed my face with fruits, picked up my bag packed it in a hurry with a few things and ran after kissing my mom goodbye.

My mom was a beautiful soul, she always wore that pleasant smile which would actually make your day go from 'meh' to 'wow' in a matter of few seconds. My Dad was my biggest cheer leader since I was a child, as he always encouraged me to take the small risks of life to achieve great milestones. Both, my mom and dad were super supportive of me pursuing my career in the dancing field.

Lana being Lana drove as if she owns the road and we reached Wisdom High, our high school. Wisdom High was always on my list not only because of its education but because of my personal interest in dancing as it always has one of the best dancing teams. I stopped at the entrance and paused for a moment, actually thinking to myself that "yes, I made it."

We entered the lobby and there was a lot of chaos due to the selection of the new dance team of Wisdom High, people running here and there, some excited faces, some nervous ones too.

I was interrupted by my series of thoughts with a tap on my back and there stood Nate, the other best friend of mine.

I, Lana, and Nate have been together since childhood as we were neighbors. Now Nate isn't the neighbor but still, I don't realize his absence ever. Nate and Lana are like my two pillars of strength.

"Seems like someone out there is nervous? "Asked Nate, to which I replied by tossing my hair, "oh well, is that you? "to which Lana said "c'mon you two do not start again"

Lana and Nate were like my left and right hands, I could not function without either. Lana was always this confident girl with a sparkle in her eye and a killer smile on her face, whereas if I were to describe Nate, he was HOT!

I was interrupted by the announcement of the dance audition to which I began to hurry to the audition room. Lana and Nate sang "All the best" in the chorus and sent me flying good-luck kisses.

I thought to myself how lucky am I to have these two. It is rare to have friends who actually care so much about you and also who support your decisions with equal joy and enthusiasm even if they are not agreeing with them. I definitely have to crack this one for these two and of course my parents I thought to myself. I walked to the audition room with thoughts and then began to get into my costume for the big day.
