I arrived at 7 PM. I lay on my bed and closed my eyes. It already makes me tired enough. I wish my wife here. I miss her so bad! She wants this plan to work, but my useless friends will be the reason to take long because of their lack of ability to read the situations.
They will distract me like the Pizza thing, and I don't have that patience. Sometimes I wanted to say out loud that I'll be fine. They were too protective of me. I hugged the pillow and pondered.
This problem makes me realize how simp I Am to her. I can't be mad, say no to her, or blame her. It's like I'm the victim, right!? She came back into my life because she thought I would come back to her. She has pride inside, and it's hurt me.
Flashback on,
I ate my toast while reading a newspaper. It's a routine for me in the morning to read a newspaper. "I will go home late tonight, and I had dinner with co-workers," she said as she put rice on her plate.
"Again!? Can you quit your job!?" She slammed the spoon in front of me and stared, "Look, I-I agree with the job, and I understand..." she stormed out of my house.
"Eva, please listen to me," I said. "I-I'm sorry, okay, but your boss shouldn't do that," I should be careful because I had already broken her mood.
"I'm an employee, Lobak. How many times should I tell you that I'm an employee! Not like you!" She pushed me with her finger.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, "okay, okay, I'm sorry. Can we go back to our breakfast? You haven't eaten yet," she rolled her eyes.
"I don't have any appetite anymore!" She bumped my right shoulder. I took a deep breath and looked at the neighbor. If I could tell her I'm tired of this relationship, I would brutally honest.
"Lobak, are you okay?" I took a deep breath and smiled.
"I'm fine," I'm approaching her to help her bring a groceries.
Flashback off
I opened my eyes, and I heard a message notification from Rose. What I am scared of is Rose. I'm afraid that she will divorce me because of Eva. The most mature ex I had a few, Delinda tries to accept the fact that we were friends.
It's midnight. I sat on the bed and called Rose. I hope she picked up my call, "Hey," she's awake.
"Hey, I miss you here," I heard Rose chuckle. It's a relief.
"I miss you too. Haven't you rested yet? You're sound like you were tired," she asked.
"I just woke up and saw your message. How's going there?" I activate the loudspeaker and put the phone on the pillow.
To hold you in my arms
To promise you, my love
To tell you from the heart
You're all I'm thinking of (My Love - Westlife)
I can tell she's smiling. "Please, a little bit longer." I hugged my pillow.
I miss you so bad. I want to share your horizon
I miss you so badly and see the same sunrise
I miss you so badly and turn the hour
Hand back to when you were holding me (Jet Lagged - Simple Plan)
"We were in the same timezone, island, and nation, babe." I took a deep breath. I should face this. No matter what, it will be worth it in the end.
"About your crazy ex, I feel overwhelmed at first, but I anticipate it with reading all of your DM on Instagram. Sorry if I'm using your account." She continued, "you deserve me, Lobak. I feel lucky to have you. I read all of your messages. You tried your best not to break up with her, and it was amazing." I cried in silence, "Lobak, are you okay?" She asked.
"I-I'm fine." I wiped my tears, "I'm sleepy, c-can you continue later?" I tried my best not to cry, but her words touched my heart.
"Are you crying?" I can't hold my tears anymore. Dear God, I feel blessed with your gift. I wipe my tears. "Babe, are you okay!? Stop making me..." I'm sneezing.
"You happy, aren't you?" She asked. I wiped my tears.
"I am," I said. Rose shushed me.
"Opened the door," she's here? How? How can she reach Bandung so fast? I walked rashly to open the door. I saw Rose rubbing her stomach while smiling at me.
"Hey, wh-why you were surprised? Why were you crying." Shut up. I hugged her and cried. I don't care if the paparazzi take a picture of us. "I'm proud of you, Lobak. You rather choose me rather than your ex. You love me. I should thank you for that." I looked into her eyes.
She wiped my tears with her thumbs and kissed my lips.
And I need you to know that we're
Fallin' so fast, we're fallin' like the stars, fallin' in love.
And I'm not scared to say those words.
With you, I'm safe. We're fallin' like the stars. We're fallin' in love. (Falling Like The Stars - James Arthur)
"I heard you sing that song. On your old laptop." Wait, you fixed my old laptop? But how? How do you fix it?
"H-how you fix..." she put her finger on my lips. "I'm not fixing it, Lobak. I found that recording inside your HDD. It's a beautiful voice." She pushed me slowly and closed the door.
I hold her hand and put it on my heart.
I swear to God, every day.
He won't take you away.
Because without you, babe, I lose my way (Falling Like The Stars - James Arthur)
"Me too, I-I even don't know how to live without you, Lobak. I don't know how to live," maybe Hanks informs her that I stayed at this hotel. We looked into each's other eyes. No one was speaking. Rose put her on my shoulders and smiled, "Lobak 'Gabriella' Aryanti?" I hummed.
"Let's sleep. My back hurt," I chuckled.
"Okay," We lay on the bed.
"I came here with a car. It's taken me 9 hours to catch up with you," she continued, "a long journey to get there," I hugged her.
I want to enjoy this moment with you forever. Will you be my wife until the death do us part? Because I'm willing to fight.
