Fateful meet

"Oh shit girl, just see, that big truck is coming your way. Open that blindfold to save yourself. Otherwise, you will die…Fast."

A man on the other side of the road shouted looking at Tae Seol who was still trying to cross the road blindfolded. Many people who were on their bikes stopped at the edge of the road.

Few cars passed by her almost about to hit her but somehow managed to stop themselves and moved away from her. Ki Ha came running at high speed at her but he too stopped in his tracks when a big truck passed before him.

"Hey, Tae Seol…stop where you are right now."

Ki Ha shouted in a high-pitched voice on the busy road to let Tae Seol hear him but she never stopped even after hearing him. But she did turn around to his side.

"You are his friend, right? We met yesterday?"

"Yes, Yes. But how do you know it's me? His friend?" 

He shouted again trying to get into the traffic to get her back safely. He knew his friend was being an asshole but there were some feelings inside his heart for Tae Seol who was being stupid. 

"You forgot? You told me his name and I kind of remember the voices very well." 

She replied in a high-pitched voice not knowing he could hear her easily. 

"Then listen to me. Please come back, many vehicles are coming and they won't be able to stop after seeing you. You need to come back here." 

His heartbeats were racing higher than the speed of vehicles moving constantly on the, trying not to kill the girl who was on a suicide mission. 

"Please, don't be stupid. Why are you trying to fool yourself with this? He is not going to come to you. He is a heartless person." 

"So, he is not coming? Has he taken everything as a joke or what? Or does he think I can't do it?" 

Her steps were still moving on the road and many vehicles were moving around her, keeping her safe but all of them cursed her while they passed by her. 

"No, he just doesn't care if you live or die. Please, Tae Seol, why do you want to wait for him and die? He must have forgotten your existence by this time."

"But I need him to be with me. I need him to know that I exist in this world and he is very important to me." 

She whispered to herself knowing very well that her words never reached Ki Ha but there was someone who might have heard them. 

"Tae Seol, just come back. He is one heartless monster. He never cared for a single soul. He doesn't care for you. What part of this you are not getting? Save your life." 

They heard a big horn sound as Ki Ha finished speaking his words. The two big container trucks were almost racing with each as they were coming in Tae Seol's direction. 

"No…No…No, Tae Seol, two trucks are coming here. You don't have time to think. Just start running towards me. I promise I won't let anything happen to you." 

"I can't. I need him. I have to do it to get him." 

She murmured and kept walking as the horn on the road never silenced. They increased in volume and distance and got lessened each second. 

Everyone's heartbeat turned as her steps continued on the road.

"Oh, Fuck…No…Not now. You damn it."

A faint yet very powerful smell hit Chang hard while he was racing his bike toward the city street. 

A few years ago when a rogue wolf turned psychic over a girl and was about to take her life for choosing her destined mate for her, Jung Ho came over and ripped the wolf into pieces like he was just a piece of paper for him.

The disastrous smell of his sensations hit all the other wolves so hard that they all felt a strong pang of pain in their heart. They almost all died that day by suffocating due to lack of strength to breath. 

That day for the first time Chang hadn't known what to do with Jung Ho to stop spreading the disastrous pheromones that were killing other wolves in the pack. 

When he somehow managed to balance himself, with Jung Ho's pheromones constantly hitting him badly he called out his name at top of his lungs with every emotion he could put in that call.

And then saw true blood alpha running away towards their hideout place before fainting on the ground. That was the last time he saw true blood alpha losing his temperament over small things. They were just eleven years old at that time. 

But since that day when Jung Ho saw Chang being in the hospital for seven days straight because of the pheromones that hurt him badly, he kept his distressing pheromones always in check.

But now when Chang was racing badly on the highway to save Tae Seol, he was smelling the same disastrous pheromones coming his way. The only thing Chang was relying on at that time was the speed and strength of his best friend. 

"You can't lose a shit now, Jung Ho. She will be fine. You will save her."

Chang tried to send the message in their mind link with Jung Ho when his strong pheromones started to invade his mind badly. He raced, even more, to go to the highway when he knew his friend must have reached there already.

He glanced away as he left many vehicles behind cursing him badly for coming in their way, which he didn't really give a fuck about.

As he raced hard near his destination he saw two heavily loaded container trucks racing with each other, scaring the shit out of each vehicle they were passing.

And then the smell of disastrous pheromones hit him again making his entire world stand still. Chang didn't know what to do, he has never seen Jung Ho so angry before.

Jung Ho ran past him near the girl who was standing in the middle of the road blindfolded knowing her end was near as the sound of loud honking and racing vehicles reached her ears. 

Chang knew it only means one thing that this was not going to end well. Jung Ho found Tae Seol But she was on the verge of getting hit by at least one of the trucks and something like that was going to happen, he knew there was no way to stop his best friend.

Jung Ho ran near Tae Seol, passing both trucks, and stood holding her in his arms looking back at the truck coming their way. As he halted, he took out the blindfold from Tae Seol's eyes. 

When the blindfold was removed from her eyes for the first time he saw her eyes hazel with the golden ring outside of orbs and they were sparkling like the sun rays in the morning. 

Happiness was so evident in those orbs but then fear reached them as she heard a loud growl. She froze on her spot. Jung Ho saw red, anger bubbled up inside him and his wolf growled in anger. That sound was thundering to his ears too.

He looked at the truck drivers and growled at them releasing strong pheromones to them that got paralyzed in their seats. Tae Seol heard a lot of crashing sounds on the road and then saw Chang sitting inside one of the truck driver's seats and Ki Ha sitting in another. 

Both the trucks screeched on the road as they slid after getting hit by the brakes inside. But still, when one of those trucks slid towards them, Jung Ho pulled her into his arms and ran forward to avoid them hitting her in a way. 

And when he felt she was at a safe distance he moved back. He ran behind and slid down the truck which was still sliding on the road. As the truck moved above him, he got up and held the back part of the truck to hold it, stopping it completely.

As the truck stopped completely, Tae Seol looked around her and saw many people circling the big flex board that broke and fell on the road, breaking two cars under it.

But before she could contemplate what happened there, she felt the strong grip around her waist that almost broke her bones with its firm grip. She looked at true blood alpha looking at her with darkened eyes that could give anyone a heart attack. 

"...."

She opened her mouth to speak but then nothing came out of her mouth as every word seemed to betray her mind. Was she gone dumb all of a sudden by that dark stare of his? 

She tried to look away from that domineering stare but it was like she was captured in those dark green eyes. It was his wolf and she was nobody to disrespect one of the strongest true blood in the world.

All she wanted was his whole attention on her. She knew she successfully got his whole attention towards her but at what cost? Was she about to lose her life for it? 

His eyes darkened and his grip around her tightened even more. The thought of running away from him died down when she felt herself getting carried away by him.
