Enjoying Onsen
Their hotel in Kyoto was one of the oldest but fanciest in the city and it had its own onsen.
The onsen was an indoor one, but it was still connected to a natural hot water bath and decorated with beautiful large rocks. Soft water vapors rose around the room and kept the temperature at a relaxing heat.
"And this is our onsen, all for ourselves," Loriel explained with a small smile. "Compared to other hot springs, an onsen is natural water that contains various healthy minerals believed to be beneficial for one's health."
"I read about them earlier," Elise said. She stared at the bubbling water and smiled. "What minerals does ours contain? Sulfur? Sodium chloride or iron onsen?"
"Magnesium and calcium. They're great for the skin. Most women enjoy soaking here for anti-aging properties if I recall," Loriel said and then smiled. "Although I doubt that you need it, you're already glowing. But it's a nice way to pamper yourself. It would feel soooo relaxing."
