Chapter 2

As Emma and Molly walked through the park, Emma couldn't shake the feeling that she was being watched. She scanned the area, trying to see if anyone was paying them unusual attention, but she saw nothing out of the ordinary. She shrugged it off as paranoia and tried to focus on enjoying the day with her sister.

But as they headed back home, Emma noticed a strange man standing in front of their house. He was tall and handsome, with dark hair and piercing blue eyes. As they approached, he gave them a friendly smile and introduced himself as Marco, a tour guide from Italy.

"I couldn't help but overhear your conversation at the park," Marco said, speaking in perfect English. "It sounds like you two are in need of a little adventure. And I just happen to have the perfect trip in mind."

Emma's curiosity was piqued, but she was hesitant to trust a stranger. "What kind of trip?" she asked cautiously.

"I can take you to the castle in the photo you were looking at," Marco said, gesturing to the album Emma had tucked under her arm. "It's a beautiful, ancient place with a rich history. And I think it might be just what you're looking for."

Emma's heart skipped a beat. Could this be the opportunity she had been waiting for? She looked at Molly, who was practically bouncing with excitement. It seemed like the perfect distraction from their grief.

"Okay," Emma said, making a split-second decision. "We'll go with you. When do we leave?"

Marco grinned. "As soon as you're ready. Pack your bags and meet me at the airport tomorrow morning."

As Marco walked away, Emma turned to her sister with a mix of excitement and fear. She had no idea what they were getting themselves into, but she was determined to find the answers she was searching for. And who knows, maybe this trip would be exactly what they needed to heal and move forward.
