The New year festival

Wang Li finished the court and headed to quanzhou palace . On the way back , he was thinking about what happened in the throne room

The attitudes of the ministers indicate that there are still many who are loyal to the royal family .

Wang Li gradually fell into a deep though and didn't realise that he arrived at the palace until the eunuch's voice pulled him out from his thoughts

Wang Li get of the carriage and saw that quanzhou was waiting outside with a group of the palace servants to welcome him

" get up " said Wang Li " you don't have to wait for me outside next time "

Quanzhou was stunned and looked at him strangely  and then reply " yes , thank you for your mercy "

Wang Li smiled and said " have you eaten ? "

" l haven't eaten yet , your Majesty "

" then let's have the  breakfast together "

" Yes "

Soon the breakfast was served and they began to eat . Wang Li didn't eat anything from yesterday so he was starved . Although he was hungry,  he eat in an elegant manner. He is now an emperor after all. 

After finishing breakfast, Wang Li didn't leave .he wants to change Quanzhou's impression about him so he begin to talk to him

" quanzhou,  you are the empress now so you will be in change of the harem from now on . Here is the Phoenix seal. I will leave everything to you "

Quanzhou froze for a while and then said " Yes, your Majesty l will handle it well "

When Wang Li was about to say something,  he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his heart and his face turned pale

Quanzhou who was beside him naturally noticed that. He said hurriedly " Your Majesty , what's wrong with you?"

Wang Li felt the pain disappeared after a while and felt better.

" Your Majesty ?" Seeing that Wang Li didn't respond,  Quanzhou said again

Wang Li turned to look at him and see a hidden concern in his eyes that quanzhou himself might not even  know about that .

Wang Li smiled gently and reached out to touch his cheek " Don't worry I'm fine "

Quanzhou froze but didn't dodge his hand . He lowered his eyes and said " that's good "

" System , What happened to me just now? "

System felt a little guilty " Host l ...."

Wang Li felt something wrong and said calmly " What did you do "

System gulped and said " Host , I'm sorry but the system was updated automatically to receive your new mission , l will tell you the necessary tasks and their limited time. If you didn't complete the mission on time , you will be punished "

Quanzhou was a little surprised and said " Does Your Majesty wants to go out of the palace?  "

" Yes , let's be like a normal couple in that day "

Days passed quickly,  finally the new year festival came. As planned,  Wang Li took quanzhou and go out of the palace.

 The streets were decorated with red lanterns. People crowded to watch many fun activities. They walked towards a beautiful lake .it was famous in the imperial city .The lake was as silver as diamond flame.There were more than 20 rows of river lanterns in it . The lotus lanterns were afloat on the water, directly coming from the opposite side.  Quanzhou watched that the rows of river lanterns illuminated the lake, turning the water into dazzling gold. What a gorgeous picture!

Of course that was designed by Wang Li . Quanzhou was shocked when he saw such a beautiful scene. He turned to look at Wang Li and met his gentle eyes . Quanzhou's heart skipped a beat .In a place out of the sight of people,  Wang Li pulled Quanzhou into his arms and whispers in his ears " Do you like it ? My empress "

Quanzhou was in daze and then he released a gorgeous smile " it's beautiful,  your Majesty"

. The atmosphere between them became intimate . They looked at each other and then become closer until there's no space left.

They begin to kiss, from little pecks to deep kiss . Although Quanzhou appears to be calm , his heart was burning from such a passionate kiss . Wang Li let go of his lips and quanzhou leaned against his chest to calm his crazy heart . Wang Li looked at the man in his arms and caress his long hair gently  .His hand was warm making quanzhou's face a little red .

Quanzhou felt like he gone crazy. How could l feel like that towards a man .He closed his eyes and just decided to follow his heart at this moment.

Suddenly,  a loud shout destroyed their atmosphere.
